It has been restored and is in excellent condition as you can see from the many photos. Not one but two keys are included with this piece. The drawers on this piece glide very easily. Much of this piece has a very desirable'crackle' or crazed finish that can only be obtained from age. The photos did not show this. However you should be aware that this piece has a beautiful aged look. The top is in great shape with only a couple small imperfections that are not easily seen without getting very close to the piece. This chest really shows nicely. Mostly around the front left leg. The marble top is in great condition, with natural veining and russet inclusions. We are pleased to offer this wonderful. Old, antique pair of candlesticks. This petite pair dates to the 19th century. They are a beautiful representation of French ormolu. They are Rococo in style and feature very detailed and ornate design. The pair are gilt bronze which has a nice thickness. They have beautiful bases with"plant stem" center columns. The stems lead to a large opened bloom that rests under the three, ascending height candle holders. The candle holders have very detailed leaves and vines that seem to wrap around them. There are two large flowers on the top sections; one faces front, the other faces the back. The candle wax drip cups are also in the form of multi petaled flowers. The pair is very ornate and extremely detailed. They are quite old and they take a smaller circumference taper candle as traditional tapers ... moreare too large to fit into the cups. The pair have screw thread that holds the cups in place and that runs down the center column. The pair are in very good condition for their age. Rare Bronze Mounted Imari Porcelain Clock Set ~ Samuel Marti. ~ Japanese/ French- Circa 1890 ~. ~~ Excellent condition. Fully overhauled ~~. A very large. Rare and impressive original antique clock set. The bodies are stunning Japanese Imari porcelain mounted with finely gilded bronze. Candelabra are formed from a matching pair of Japanese Imari porcelain jars of inverted pear form covered with a high domed lid. The clock is housed in a matching, but larger jar. The body is beautifully decorated in underglaze cobalt blue and overglaze rust-red enamel and gilt highlights. The vases sit on heavy gilded bronze bases with scrolled feet. The clock is surmounted by a winged mythical creatures and has a pair of lions mask handles. Candelabra are surmounted by four elegantly scrolled branches. The gilding is in lovely fresh and bright condition which ... morecontrasts beautifully with the Imari porcelain. The dial is also gilt brass with 12 individual enamel cartouches and blued steel hands. It is mounted in a heavy gilt bronze surround and is covered with convex glass. The French movement is by Samuel Marti and has the makers mark on the movement backplate. It is of high quality and is in excellent clean and running condition having been fully overhauled by our clockmaker. Pendulum is an old replacement. It runs for 8 days and strikes the hours and halves on a bell. Click the video clip below to hear the bell and watch the clock running! Condition of the case is excellent. The original gilding is beautifully clean and bright with hardly any wear or discolouration and there are no losses. The Imari porcelain is also in excellent condition with the usual slight wear to the overglaze gilt decoration. There is a tiny chip on the edge of the hole made for the back door that isn't quite covered by rim of the door, this isn't noticeable. The dial is also in excellent condition just with no damage. Antique French Ormolu Dresser Tray Bronze and Double Paned Glass with Normandie Lace between Length without handles is a large 14" Width is 9" Photo 3- the remains of the original price tag- under a magnifying glass one can make out"Made In France" Item is solid; no chips cracks or breakage in bronze. As you can tell in the photo. There is yellowing in the lace. Also the lace is not centered. As it is not loose, I could not shake it into place. Possibly it was like that from the beginning.

The column, bobeches, ceiling canopy and bottom of the frame are incised with a very beautiful and ornate pattern. The chandelier is in original condition and comes with GORGEOUS, cut leaded crystal prisms in varied sizes and styles. The bobeches each house 5 large, 3" teardrop prisms. The"unlighted" arms house 3 very large, 3.5" teardrops on their lower sections. Mid 19th C French Ruby Red Palais Royal Perfume Casket With Bronze Ormolu Mounts
You are bidding on an exquisite Palais Royal French ruby red perfume box or casket with the original square form perfume bottles. The casket has beautiful gilt bronze ormolu mounts& the perfume bottles have ground glass stoppers as well as gilt bronze lidded caps. The bottles sit in a gilt twisted wire frame basket which keeps the bottles suspended in the casket. The box appears to be complete with its original key& swivel handles. The square form casket is made of a very heavy ruby glass& the perfume bottles look to be hand blown with ground pontil bases. The quality& thickness of the glass indicates that this might be a Baccarat casket& we believe it dates to the mid 1800's. The casket is not marked in any way but early Baccarat was only marked with a paper label& the company relied on the quality of their products ... moreto speak for itself& thus did not need any identifying marks. The casket measures about 4 1/2" x 2 7/8" stands about 4 5/8" tall. The condition is very good. There are some small air bubble inclusions in the glass& a small imperfection on the front of the lid where one of these bubbles has been ground through. The gold gilding has worn through on the more exposed parts of the ormolu but the internal gilding is in very fine condition. The glass stopper of one of the perfume bottles is stuck with residue from whatever perfume was left in the bottle. Although the key does turn, the internal iron mechanism of the lock no longer secures the lid. There are also some minor surface scratches to the casket with the worst ones on the base. CONDITION: NO CHIPS OR CRACKS The inside cushion has wear from age as can be seen in the pictures. If you know how to solder or know someone who can put this back together it will be amazing. Its marked made on france and I just love all the detail work to it. Someone told me it could be bronze, however I have no idea how to tell, so I am saying its some sort of metal. You can be the judge or can ask me questions to see if we can come up with some sort of conclusion on the type of metal. The picture needs to be replaced its just a piece of paper and its seen better days, there is no glass over it.
