It is not part of this listing. Although only one large sconce is pictured, TWO are being offered here) The sconces are a whopping 30-inches high, 15-wide, and with a projection of 8-1/2-inches. The sconces would seem to be mid-19 th-century oil lamp conversions. But. This is belied by the Made In Spain stamp! So. I am guessing that they are post-1950. They are clearly modeled after oil lamp fixtures. For rail-road use in the age before electricity? Each socket is housed in what looks like an oil lamp but these are faux oil lamps. The original sockets(which I replaced) were European. So the sconces were brought to America at some point. The fixtures can also be table lamps. If you prefer them as such please just let me know and I will add a long length of cord and plug to each fixture. I can envision the pair as sconces on a long covered porch in a place like Arizona or Montana. Of course. They would also make spectacular statements as sconces in, say, a dining room. Antique French solid brass bed side lamp with lamp shade and matching solid brass wall sconce. Lamp measures 8.2" and the base 3.1" Lampshade is 6½" high. 4.6" diameter at top and about 7½" at base. It is creamy white and a little dusty. Beige and gold braid with 1" deep tassels. The wall sconce is 4.6" diameter. The candle holder just over 3½" high and the"candle" 2½" high. The lithophane is part of the shade in raised relief and hand colored on the back. Its says hand made by the signatures. It is decorated in gold exterior. The raised hand painted scene is a hunt scene of a running deer with dogs chasing it. What detail. The long wire looks like it was added and should be replaced. It's frayed. Estate Antique Wall Sconce Metal Oil Lamp Base
From a family member's estate an antique round bottomed metal oil lamp base originally for wall sconce mounting. It is in good condition considering its age. With scratches, lots of patina and in need cleaning. The glass chimney is missing. The burner has Eagle stamped on it. The wick adjustment knob says P& A MFG Co Waterbury. I believe this is Plume& Atwood. I measure the tank diameter below the collar at 4" The collar is about 4 1/2" in diameter. It is about 4 1/2" from the collar to the bottom of the tank. I t was used by family ancestors that lived in Hartford. Arkansas from before 1900. It has been in storage since rural electrification. Vtg Wall LAMP Sconce Wrought Iron Frosted Glass Art Deco Modern Style, Damp Room
Here is a very interesting WALL LAMP. Sconce, which is vintage but I don't know the exact period for it. It has a very typical Modern Art or Art Nouveau style. But the glass shades look more Art Deco(20's-30's) However. I don't think the lamp was made at the beginning of the 20th century, but probably a little bit later. It is also possible that the glass shades/globes are original ones from the 30's. While the lamp itself is not. The Lamp is pretty heavy because of the glass and the wrought iron. The shades are in frosted glass with raised patterns. The twigs holding the shades are in wrought iron painted by such a way, that they look like bronze. But I have no idea about the material of the background which is behind the twigs. It is painted like bronze as well, but it seems lighter than the rest. It looks like a light ... morewood or resin/plaster, I am not sure. The part behind this. Where the electrical cords are, is in painted metal. At the back of the lamp. It is said that it can be used in damp locations, so a bathroom would be fine for this lamp, for example. As you can see on the photos. It is possible to position the shade at the middle towards the right, to the left, or to the center. I don't know if it is because the bolt at the back needs to be tightened, or if is purposely made like that. The bolt seems to be tightened enough to me. But maybe it will be better to check this. I think it was made in USA. Because at the back, it is written in English, French and Spanish. But I can't guarantee it, since the origin is written nowhere. The bulbs to be used are the regular ones: usual size I mean. Size of the Lamp: 24" wide. 10" tall, 9" deep. It is pretty heavy. So it is better to have a sturdy wall or strong screws to use it. Condition: The brown/bronze paint needs a few touch-ups(some color is missing here and there) And there are traces of a wall paint(ivory) on the back of the lamp. A further cleaning may be necessary, and the electrical part will need to be checked

C.1920s This auction is for this beautiful sconce from a German hunting chalet. Th back plate is carved from oak and stained a walnut brown. The edges are decorated with carved oak leaves. The large antler is a fallow deer antler and decorated with silver colored metal oak leaves and acorns. To the right and left we have a roebuck stag antler. The fallow deer antler holds a little lantern style shade that is green and red glass and held together by metal. Probably pewter or lead framing. The antlers have a beautiful rich and deep patina and the lamp shade is in good used condition as well- except for one panel that shows a crack, see photos. Ity doesn't detract when ... morelooking at the piece and it's not super noticeable. The lamp has been converted for American plus and can hold a full size bulb. It measures from the top of the fallow deer antler to the bottom of the antler it is 22" high. The back plaque that holds the antlers is 7.5" wide and the antlers are 8.5" deep. The little glass chandelier measures without the chain 6" high and on the top it is 4.5" wide and on the bottom it is 3.5" wide and respectively it is 4.5" to 3.5" deep. Up for your consideration is this scarce. Fabulous, beautiful, wall sconce, made in Germany. Made in period of 1920's-1930's, o utstanding art Deco design of peacock tail made of glass beads and flowers in a brass metal frame. Soft pastel colors of glass are in perfect contrast with brass color of frame. Wall sconce is in working condition. Have 3 small bulbs,as a source of light, there is no switch. Dimensions are 39 cm by 34 cm and about 10 cm deep, 15 1/4"x 13 1/4" by 4 1/4" Weighs 2.480 kg.
