Up for auction is the Female version of the Robin Hood or Hunter chalkware lamps made by Continental Art Co. in the 1950's. I believe this example has the original fiber shade and finial. Incredible over the top design that is super retro now! As collectible lamp sets. The Continental lamps prove to be super collectible! Great Art Deco design! Very minor paint issues. One scrape of the paint on her knee and some minor scratches on her back arm. These could be easily touched up. Original socket and cord both in great shape. The fiber shade is in very good condition but the cording is broken in a couple of places. There are very few issues for such a rare lamp. Which is to the top of finial can be bent/moved to put shade in direction you want. The base is marble and about 5" square, with steam of the lamp, being marble and also part of the lamps have brass. The clear glass is a pressed glass and then another part is clear glass hobnail. The part that holds the finial is adjustable and has Martin Harp Trade Mark Reg. on the inside of the adjustable part. It's just under 14" at pictured. The glass shaft has chips were it connects to the base as in the photos. The mirror has a chip as in the photo but it's on the underneath side(don't know how that happens) The top side you feels is not chipped. The mirror has brass candlewick edge and an ornate brass center band. The base is also footed. The lamp works! For consideration is an estate find floor lamp. Antique double light Jadeite glass. Houze glass, Vaseline glass circa 1920s. Highly decorative cast brass base with birds. Two beautiful pieces of Authentic Jadeite with Caramel swirl also known as vaseline. No chips or cracks, all original hardware including the finial. Beautifully preserved only showing normal signs of wear. Does need to be wired and cleaned. Vtg Wall LAMP Sconce Wrought Iron Frosted Glass Art Deco Modern Style, Damp Room
Here is a very interesting WALL LAMP. Sconce, which is vintage but I don't know the exact period for it. It has a very typical Modern Art or Art Nouveau style. But the glass shades look more Art Deco(20's-30's) However. I don't think the lamp was made at the beginning of the 20th century, but probably a little bit later. It is also possible that the glass shades/globes are original ones from the 30's. While the lamp itself is not. The Lamp is pretty heavy because of the glass and the wrought iron. The shades are in frosted glass with raised patterns. The twigs holding the shades are in wrought iron painted by such a way, that they look like bronze. But I have no idea about the material of the background which is behind the twigs. It is painted like bronze as well, but it seems lighter than the rest. It looks like a light ... morewood or resin/plaster, I am not sure. The part behind this. Where the electrical cords are, is in painted metal. At the back of the lamp. It is said that it can be used in damp locations, so a bathroom would be fine for this lamp, for example. As you can see on the photos. It is possible to position the shade at the middle towards the right, to the left, or to the center. I don't know if it is because the bolt at the back needs to be tightened, or if is purposely made like that. The bolt seems to be tightened enough to me. But maybe it will be better to check this. I think it was made in USA. Because at the back, it is written in English, French and Spanish. But I can't guarantee it, since the origin is written nowhere. The bulbs to be used are the regular ones: usual size I mean. Size of the Lamp: 24" wide. 10" tall, 9" deep. It is pretty heavy. So it is better to have a sturdy wall or strong screws to use it. Condition: The brown/bronze paint needs a few touch-ups(some color is missing here and there) And there are traces of a wall paint(ivory) on the back of the lamp. A further cleaning may be necessary, and the electrical part will need to be checked

The Beautiful shade is milk glass with a thick metal rim around the top. The metal is stamped CLM Type A Patent Pend ESLMP and the base of the lamp is stamped#537 The base is an octogan shape and it has some slight discoloration and/or rust. The shade looks like the seam has come out and will need repair. Shade is definitely not in perfect condition. Everything is in good condition and works great. For sale 2 Antique Cranberry Glass or Cranberry Colored Glass and Metal Waterfall Lamps that measure 18 1/2 inches tall. Both lamps work by plugging them in but the switches do not turn them off and on. At some point these were rewired I believe because the cords are newer and the one cord has the original cord black taped to it as shown in the picture. Each lamp will hold 24 prisms or crystals. I do not have the original ones but these are very reasonably priced on ebay. If you know of someone that can rewire these you would have two stunning lamps to grace your mantel or buffet. About a year or year and a half ago one of these lamps. It was identical, sold on ebay for $325.00. It did work properly and had the prisms so with some rewiring and picking out some prisms for these you'd have 2 beautiful lamps for a whole lot less. You're bidding on a very nice 1930s vintage stick lamp- it has a sticker remnant on the bottom identifying it as a product of the Mantle Lamp Company. This company developed into the Aladdin Company. Which produced a wide variety of consumer products, most famously lunch boxes, but it all grew from their original business of lamp production. This lamp is a great example of one of their trademarks, the use of Alacite, a sort of slightly opalescent ivory-white glass. It has carved flowers/ roses and in the shape of an urn. It's in very nice condition but could use a better cleaning. I don't know much about them and didn't want to hurt the marble so just wiped it off. Purchased from a very nice estate sale and passing it on to you. ANTIQUE PAIR OF TABLE LAMPS WITH DIAMOND CUT CLEAR GLASS GLOBES IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. Glass Globe Lamps measure approximately 7 1/2" Tall and 6" Wide. The Globes are Near Mint. The only wear I can find are tiny nics around the hole that the pull chain goes through. See picture#7. Globes are thick, heavy glass. The metal sockets are discolored and fit tightly down inside the globes. Sockets are marked Leader. Lamps have original wiring and do work as is but wiring should be replaced.

1931 VTG ART DECO JAPANESE TWILIGHT MOTION LAMP SCENE IN ACTION CORP ANTIQUE OLD
Here we have an original. 1930's ~ ART DECO PERIOD MOTION LAMP ~. This lamp was made in the 1930's by SCENE IN ACTION CORP, and is called JAPANESE TWILIGHT. It has a wonderful skyscraper design frame and a wonderful lifelike scene. It measures 14 inches tall by 9 inches wide by 5 inches deep. The over all condition is quite nice for being around 90 years old. I do see that the cylinder tube is missing, which is fairly common as too large of watt bulbs were used and they got damaged. I believe you could get a replacement if desired, but it actually looks quite nice just the way it is. This would be a great lamp to use as a night light or mood lamp that could be enjoyed in any room of your home. It really is quite nice!
