Vintage MOREAU lamp Collection Francaise Signed
You will be bidding on a fabulous L.F. Moreau Art Noveau style lamp. The lamp is made in the U.S.A. and is part of the Collection Francaise. It was purchased from a wealthy estate in Historic Mobile. Alabama. The home of Mardi Gras! The lamp features a lovely French lady reading as she takes a leisurely stroll. I'm guessing that this lamp is the rarest of the collection, because I have been unsuccessful at finding another like it after searching for hours online. One unique feature of the lamp is that it does't require a shade, and all the crystal accents are present and not damaged. For your consideration we have this vintage lamp shade only. It is made and marked on the top metal bracket"F. Cooper Lamps" The shade is in good condition but does have some small snags. I showed the worst of these in the pictures for you. Measures 14" inches tall. The bottom measures 20" accross the rim and the top is about 9" inches accross the rim. ANTIQUE VINTAGE PAIR HAND PAINTED FRENCH GILT PORCELAIN LAMPS SIGNED LA TOUCHE
Exquisite! This is an extremely nice and rare pair of antique lamps. This beautiful pair features fine porcelain with green glaze paint. And exceptionally hand painted in a floral and leaf pattern. The hand painting is expertly accomplished with beautiful and purposeful brush strokes. The floral design is hand outlined in a gold gilt/gild paint. The porcelain section of each lamp is"footed" in gold and rests upon a circular brass base. The porcelain sections also have a long neck which are also highlighted with gold gilt. There are no manufacturers marks, but the lamps are each signed"La Touche" which is French for"touched" with the meaning of"something that moves you" These lamps certainly will move you as they are spectacular! The pair are in excellent. Antique condition. There are no chips or cracks ... moreto the porcelain. There is no crazing to the finish. The brass bases have an aged patina. The pair retain the original harps and the very heavy and ornate finials. PLEASE NOTE that there are no shades with the pair. The wiring is older vintage but looks very good and both lamps are in good working condition. There is an on/off switch on each cord. Lamps are 22.5" to light socket and 33" to the tops of the finials. There are 7.5" in diameter at the widest point of the porcelain bodies and they are 6.25" in diameter at the bases. VINTAGE Signed Prof. G. Gambogi. Alabaster/marble gypsy 1900's lamp Very Rare
You are bidding on a very rare signed Prof. G. Gambogi light. This piece is made from marble(at base) to the gypsy being alabaster. The four little figures holding the light are made of brass. It is made in Italy. The globe is not original to this piece. The family who owns this piece had it for 40 years and prior to her recieving this piece it was her fathers. And she remembers it from when she was young. This piece weighs about 40 to 45lbs, it has great detail, and constructed to last. It is more beautiful in person. I am not an expert, I have this out for appraisal, and to verify the signature, I took pictures and from the hx I got on this piece, I believe it to be the real deal, but you be the judge. The cord is original and a little frayed. I would have it replaced if I was purchasing or going to use the item. The color of the clay used is orange/brown. The glaze is shiny. With turquoise, white and brown accents. The light bulb is inserted in the mouth. Please note, there are scattered chips on this piece, so bid accordingly. These are a Pair of Antique French spelter Table Lamps in the Moreau style. There is a round stamp on the base of the girls lamp that says Fabrication Francais. Made in France. They are both signed on the base with a signature that starts with Aug? I cannot make out the rest of it. They are in very good condition besides the paint chipping off with no dents, missing parts or any other damage. There are no shades. They are of a peasant girl with a net on a long pole and a peasant boy with a basket of fish and a net. The base is 5 1/2"round. Vintage Antique Signed Faries Industrial Brass Lamp Machine Age Desk Light
For your consideration is a signed brass FARIES flexible shaft bench lamp. The signed Faries weighted base is 5 1/2" in diameter and the lamp stands 25" tall. The lamp retains an old chippy silver painted base that the brass shows through and looks great. The bare steel parabolic shade is 6 1/2" in diameter and has the Faries name embossed. The brass paddle switch socket is a PERKINS and accepts a standard base bulb(bulb not included) The lamp has its original cloth covered wire and an old fashioned two prong plugs. Signed Vintage Mid Century BLENKO Blown Glass Lamp Swirl Sea Green with Finial
Mid Century Modern Blenko Sea Green Glass Lamp& Matching Glass Finial Circa 1950's Fabulous Mid Century Modern Swirled Blenko Sea Green Glass Lamp& Matching Glass Finial This glass lamp is a lovely dark seaglass green. It is a swirl ribbed bulbous shape with a narrow top. Capped with a brass disc that has a darkened patina from age. The swirl is subtle and could easily be missed if looking at the very top of the glass vessel. Matching glass teardrop finial attaches to an clip off harp. This lamp is mounted on a maple wood round base and the underside of the wood is felted. The felt is stamped MADE BY BLENKO MILTON W VA White cord and plug appear in good working condition. It has a three way switch. No chips. Breaks or damage to glass. Some slight bubbles in the glass that I assume are part of the creation process. I will say that ... morethe glass looks like its a little cloudy inside- especially towards the bottom. It's not something you notice until you get up close and examine. I would imagine that one could unscrew the lamp and get in there and wipe it a bit if a pristine look is desired. Wearing this particular harp the height is 29 1/4" to the top of the finial. Measuring to the top of the socket the lamp is 17 inches high. The diameter of the wooden base is a tad over five and a half inches. The vessel at widest is approximately seven and a half inches. The finial is 5 1/2 inches long including the brass. Shade diameter at top is 8 1/2" at bottom is 16 1/4" Shade slope is 12 inches. I have it photographed with the pleated shade that is original to the lamp. The shade was made by Seattle shade and is in good condition except for a crack in the plastic liner. It is not included in the shipping price if you would like to have it. My guess is I can send it to you for around $20. Please see my other items for sale. Up for sale is this unusual lamp. The lamp depicts a Japanese geisha. The piece is very heavy bronze and is signed on the base. I have attempted to get a photo of the mark. They look like Japanese characters so this may have been made in Japan. The piece has a great original patina and wear on the base helping to date this. As well as the vintage harp and finial. This leads me to believe that the lamp was made in the 1930's. It is in excellent condition, not cracks or dents etc. The lamp weighs over 10 pounds. Antique signed Moreau bronze metal piano lamp. This stunning lamp features a figural style man playing a piano with two lamps coming up the sides of the piano. The metal is smooth but unpolished with patina which could likely be polished if desired. The back of the piano is dated 1932. It has plenty of detail to the ornate design and is fully signed as pictured. It is in original condition and has most of the white paint accenting the base part of the lamp. The piano keys are extraordinary. It has a easy on/off twist knob to the bottom back section. Offered is this truly exceptional and VERY RARE. MONUMENTAL, BRUTALIST WOODEN, STACKED BLOCK TABLE LAMP with PICKLED WHITE WASHES and EPISODES OF GREEN with DOUBLE, EXTENDED BRASS WIRE HARP and FINIAL! This just enormous table lamp commands real presence in any room. Towering upwards to almost four(4) feet high! It specifically measures 45" in overall height(including the original. Double extended brass wire harp and brass finial, x 6 1/2" x 6 1/2" in width. The wooden block base and wooden dowel central stem under the electrical assembly, measure 27" in overall height. This is quite a RARE and very unusual Brutalist piece of period lighting. In that it's constructed with found, irregular wooden blocks and not made from torched steel, as is found on many other Brutalist pieces of the Modernist period of design. I haven't been able(as of yet, to make any accurate attribution with those initials and unfortunately therefore, can't shed more light on its country of origin either. The lamp towers upwards like a climbing skyscraper, with the lamp clearly evoking the Modernist impulse of looking forward and celebrating technology and man's effort to build upward and reach the heavens. This attitude is reflected in how the lamp's construction keeps meandering upwards to reach nearly four feet in overall height! This lamp would command real attention in any room setting! The found pieces of pine wood blocks have what appears to be the remnants of white paint left on them, which now is thoroughly weathered and resemble more of a thin wash. There are also episodes of green paint(again, in the form of a wash) that occurs on two blocks on one side of the assemblage. REDUCED-RARE-ORNATE Vintage 1960s L & L WMC Table Lamp-Ewer-Signed-Art Nouveau
This auction is for a gorgeous vintage L&L WMC signed table lamp in the shape of an ornate ewer. The number stamp appears to be 8094. But it was very hard to read. Please see picture. I believe this lamp is brass, but I am not a metals expert. It does not appear to be magnetic. Very ornate. As you can see in the pictures. I'm not sure if this is supposed to be a cherub or siren design. There is a face on 4 sides, but they appear to be that of a woman& not a cherub to me. The handle appears to have a sea serpent& the face below the"spout" appears to be similar to the faces on the body, but with wings wrapped around it. I know this time period is supposed to be cherubs, but to me this looks more like sirens. I believe this is a 3-way lamp, since I put a single bulb in it and it took 2 clicks to turn it on/off. 1 of ... morethe faces has a"smashed" nose(please see picture) This lamp is dirty& will need cleaned. I wiped it off to take pictures of it. But that is all I've done. There appears to be green tarnish on the bottom column. Item was completely loose when I got it, but I did try to tighten it. I will leave any additional tightening to the new owner, since my tightening seems to have left the ewer off center from the base& loosened the socket more than it was. I found this gorgeous lamp stored in a damp basement of an odds& ends shop, so it will definitely need to be cleaned up. Please look at all pictures& ask questions before bidding. Vintage Antique Industrial Signed Goose Neck Desk Lamp Machine Age Early Light
For your consideration is an antique goose neck desk/bench lamp made by the"R.B.CO. 8625. The cast iron base is in the Art Nouveau Style and the lamp adjust to a total height of 23" including the shade. The lamp is signed on both ends of the flexible shaft. The parabolic shade is 6 1/2" in diameter and has remnants of old green paint. The paddle switch socket accepts a standard base bulb(bulb not included) The lamp has new 18 gauge cloth covered wiring and an old fashioned two prong plug. The lamp has much of its old gold paint on the base and flex neck. There are paint chips and tarnish, adding to the character of the piece.
