Vintage Flowered Milk Glass Electric Hurricane Table Lamp
Vintage Flowered Milk Glass Electric Hurricane Table Lamp This lamp measures approx. 18-1/2" tall to the top of the shade. The chimney sticks out from the top of the shade about 1 inch. The shade is about 10" wide at it's widest point As you should see. The glass is yellow toned on the milk glass and has yellow& blue flowers with some green leaves The lamp uses a standard sized bulb but i'm not exactly sure of the wattage max.probably 60 would be safe and a small night light bulb in the bottom There is some minor patina to a small part of the brass toned metal that connects to the lower portion of the lamp and the shade has been cracked and repaired(to the side of the flowered area) The break was about the size of a large egg and fixed with some strong epoxy glue.still a small chip on the bottom edge of the shade but ... morewhen in place. You never see it. The break is not really visable unless looking very closely for it and should never come apart. The switch works perfectly as it should and first turns on the bottom night light. Then the top light and then turns on both the top and bottom lights together. No problems at all with the cord. I will pack this very carefully in bubble wrap and shipping peanuts. Rare Vintage 5 Arm Hobnail Milk Glass Chandelier
Rare vintage 5 arm hobnail milk glass chandelier. This is a beautiful peice to add to anyone's home. This peice is from the 1930's. All of the shades are in good condition. There are rough spots where the shades sit on the chadelier but nothing that is visible when assembled. The chandelier is complete with a brass chain that could use a little attention due to the age. The plastic peice around where the bulb is screwed in on one of the arms is broken off a little. Not visable with shade in place and it will not interfere with function. I am unsure if the wiring is still good but it would be a reletively easy and uncostly project. I have tried to photograph all flaws. Please refer to the photo's above. If more photos are needed. Vintage 1930's antique brass table lamp with hobnail milk glass. This is a project piece. Although it works, it has definitely seen better days in its 70+ years. The base is cracked in 9 places and the bakelite strain relief screw is broken. The original milk glass shade is long gone as is the glass chimney. But the glass bowl is in perfect condition. As is the brass chimney holder and the Leviton bakelite twisty knob, so I couldn't throw it away. It was simply too cool to pitch. This large fixture features ornate brass hardware with a large top finial and a beautiful, double cherub and urn bottom finial. The very large, opaline style(shiny) milk glass globe is elongated and features an overlay of thick gesso vines and leaves. The lamp is in very good condition with some minor signs of age. This is a nice antique white milk glass table lamp and matching globe that are hobnail patterne with a brass center and key. That is several years old, and in good condition with no damage that we can see. Its a beautiful lamp and globe with great detailing and designs with a brass center and a antique brass key type on/ off switch. The lamp and globe are a beautiful milk white color and the globe is flared with a scalloped design on the top. The lamp measures 11 inches tall total, and the base of the lamp measures 6 inches in diamiter, the widest part of the globe near the center measures 5 inches in diamiter. This large milk glass hobnail lamp shade fits a large standing or hanging lamp. It is in very good condition- no cracks. Crazing or stains. There is one small 2 mm chip to one ruffle(scalloped edge) and 3 tiny dots on the white glass- please see the photos as they form part of the description. The base rim is rough and has nibbles and a small chip but these are not seen when it is installed. Offered is this wonderful little white milk-glass oil lamp or kerosene lamp with matching round glass globe/ball shade. Measures just 7" inches high total. With a 2-1/2" diameter base. Includes original brass burner. The bottom is very slightly concave. I find no maker marks on it anywhere. Including the small brass parts. The lamp is definitely antique, and appears to be complete. There are four different green scenes on it- a windmill. Sail ship, barn, and what looks to be a farm house, resembling Currier& Ives scenes. In very good condition with a couple of small flaws- one being a few tiny flea bites on the top rim of the globe. And some tarnish to the brass fittings, which should clean up. No wick. Peeking down inside I can ... moresee some old oil residue on the inside bottom, but nothing out of the ordinary( The top and bottom green colors differ very slightly. Apparently at some point. Someone attempted to repair t he threaded brass collar/ring with some glue. I didn't try to unscrew it. Antique early 1900's vintage milk glass light shade globe 6 inch
One 6 inch(15cm) diameter original milk glass light shade. Globe. No chips or cracks in globe, some expected minor chipping on the rim, invisible when mounted. I rescued three large 8 inch and this smaller one. 6 inch(15cm) from a house being(un)renovated, my family home, built in 1908. The real deal. I have 3 more larger ones, listed concurrently with this particular one. If you are renovating an older house to an original turn of the century style, this would be perfect.
