Each shaker measures 4" high and ... moreabout 2" in diameter at the widest part. The lids have a couple of very small dents. The salt lid looks like someone couldn't open it, and used some sort of tool to grip the lid, causing little dents on opposite sides of the lid, just above the threads. The salt shaker also has a couple of very tiny flakes at the edge of the base, and the pepper shaker has a little bump just above the bottom, which occurred in the molding of the glass. These shakers were molded, then cut, and there are several very tiny imperfections in the making, which can be seen with close examination using a magnifying glass. Some of these are shown in the photographs, but they are hard to see. If you have any questions. Or need more information, please don't hesitate to ask before bidding. My opinion is that the glass is Bohemian. It's quite beautiful with a heavy glass center that appears to be ruby red(I think, rather than"flashed" red) which is cut to clear in a geometric pattern. The fittings appear to be brass and the base/ foot is marble(with felt lining on bottom. A fairly large piece. The glass measures approximately 6" in diameter. The base is about 5" square. Not counting ... morethe finial, it is 18 1/4" tall. This piece appears to be in generally excellent used/old condition and- as you can see in the next to last pic- it works great. I don't see any cracks or damage on the cord. Either. However, I can not remove the harp. and I am not going to try to force it. The only damage I see is some green on the stem- discoloration or just needs cleaning/ polishing? Old Antique Vintage American Brilliant Cut Glass Art Nouveau Art Deco Lamp
ANTIQUE LAMP AMERICAN BRILLIANT CUT GLASS Found in a local estate auction is this beautiful cut glass lamp with a pointed mushroom shade. It dates to the early 20th century. It measures about 17.5" high. Perfect for a boudoir. It is in good condition, no damage aside from minor fleabite chips around the base edge. The prisms are not all original and one is missing. Some have small chipping. This lamp was so dirty that I thought the metal was brass. I thoroughly cleaned it and found under the grime the metal is silverplate. It has a pull chain socket and takes a c-7 chandelier type bulb. The wiring is not original but is still very old and does work. It has an on/off switch on the cord. All old wiring should be checked for safety before use. The socket is marked Bryant. I could not find any other markings. Use my photos for condition ... moredescription. We opened one- it was marked"Czechoslovakia" pictured) There are gold lines on the bases- some loss- more on one lamp than the other The bases are wood with what remains of old gesso and gilt. a nice old worn patina The harps are unusual- they can be removed by unscrewing them and they also fold so that you can adjust the shades to an angle I would guess the age to be between 1920 and 1940. Beautiful. Can use up to 75 watt bulb. I used on a table in the dining room they made a very sweet atmosphere. If needed I have 2 new shades but would be extra cost and postage( white) Both lamps worked. One started going off if moved so my husband( who knows nothing about lamps) tried to fix. Now it doesn't work at all. I believe the hardware is brass. The knobs for holding shades on are beautiful. The shade is is not in great shape but the frame is and could be easily recovered. One lamp needs to be tightened. I was afraid I might break the crystal so it's been used as is. Keep in mind these are very old. For you it's a great find. Bulbs not included

I looked over the glass base and did not see any major issues with the glass base. Actually did not see any issues and I looked pretty closely. The one etched hurricane has a crack in the base that can be seen in the picture. Both lamps need to be rewired. Two crystals are missing. I was able to easily take apart one lamp by hand while the other has rust. I want to cut the cords off and part the lamps for safe shipping. Please advise me of any special requirements you might have before buying. Doing an excellent grade A+ job packing is not a special requirement and is included in the price of this item. UPDATE: Only one crystal short as I found another in a different box. 2/20/14 UPDATE: The lamp with the hurricane stands 12" tall. Measuring just the glass ... moreheight on the base. 6 1/4" tall. The bottom square part of the base is 4 1/8" and the top round glass part of the base measures 4 3/4" diameter. 2/21/2014 UPDATE: Based on all the interest and questions I am having in the lamps I decided to cut the electric cords off and really examine both lamps. Two things I have noticed that are note worthy. One semi-pear glass midsection has 4 hairline cracks. The glass is very thick and these cracks do not carry into the inside of the glass. I never noticed these cracks until I really examined the individual pieces looking for issues. The rest of the glass pieces on both lamps look good. One piece of wire that hangs through the glass base is missing. This thin piece of wire allows the crystal to hang from the lamp. The cords are off and ready to have new wiring. The existing lamp fixtures on the lamps look to be in good condition and will work just fine. New wire and inline switch will be needed. 2/21/14 UPDATE: New wire and plugs added. Kept the switches as new ones would not match the quality of the existing ones. Little over 7 foot long cords. All the effort of wiring and costs means I am not likely to accept a best offer

This lamp was rescued from the basement of an estate. It is very heavy. With cut crystal and a bronze finish. It is in working condition and stands 19" Tall. It strikes me as Hollywood Regency. I am offering a Vintage Antique Cut to Cobalt Lamp w/Brass Base& Cobalt Finial& Pleated Shade. This lamp is absolutely beautiful. The lamp. Itself, measures 19" from base to the top of the bulb holder. The shade measures an additional 12" to make the lamp a total of 31" tall. The shade is made from a cream, pleated fabric. There is some minor wear on the inside of the shade, but the outside is in wonderful condition. The finial at the top of the shade is done in cobalt with brass around it. The lamp is made from a white ceramic, with cross-like cutouts that display the blue cobalt. There are also cutouts below the cross in circular shapes that show the cobalt blue. There are several bands of gold below the circles. The bottom and base of this lamp are made from brass. This lamp has a 72" two-pronged cord. Each lamp stands 18" tall with chimney and is 5 1/4" wide. The finely etched flared chimney is not removable and is 9 7/8" tall. The 2 piece teardrop crystal hanging prisms each measure 3 7/8" One of the teardrop prisms is very slightly different from the rest. The upper round prism that it is attached to is original. It is almost impossible to see the difference. The only reason I noticed it was that I felt a slight difference in my hand while cleaning it. One of the chimneys has a small chip on the top rim. Pair vintage antique kerosene / oil Set of 2 brass lamps Irish / clover cut-out
Stately pair of old metal brass lamps with cut-outs of three leaf clovers. Fantastic patina. Each is 12" tall. 5 1/2" diameter. Different nice designed top discs. No wick in one. other wick worn. The handles do operate to raise/lower wicks. Caps screw on/off to fill. One of is difficult to put on, threading is off. Weigh less than a pound each. Outstanding, rare find indeed!

ANOTHER MIAMI PICKER FIND! 2 Etched/Cut to Clear Cranberry Glass Electric Table Lamps with Tall Etched Globes. They are one of my most beautiful finds yet! The cranberry base is cut to clear. Possible Czechoslovakian( glass with lots of prisms. The globes are tall, cylinder and etched with a vine pattern. They sit on a bronze base. One has newer wiring. But judging by the other plug I estimate these are from the 50's- 60's(I am NO EXPERT! Please see photos to judge for yourself! Both lamps work perfectly and are in excellent condition with no chips. Up for consideration is a vintage pair of mirrored based and cut glass boudoir lamps with lace shades. They measure about 22 inches tall by about 10 inches wide at the shades. These are of high quality with fine lacey fabric shades with small stitched roses. The base ring looks to be bronze with nice floral casting.
