Vintage Pair of Cherub or Angel Table Lamps - Made by L&L WMC
Vintage Cherub Lamps- Made sometime between 50's and 70's- They come With GREEN CLOTH SHADES ONLY We found these two lamps in a storage unit that went up for auction and after a little investigating I found the makers from the makers mark located on the lamps but was unable to find pictures of the original globes. The previous owner must have added the green shades you see in the photos and lost a couple of the screws that hold the glass globes(shades) in place. I have added the missing screws now but there is one on each that doesn't match. There are photos added that show what they look like with tulip type glass shades but these do not come with the lamps(I am selling them separately in a set of 3) I also added a photo that shows a similar lamp with a glass globe and think this may be similar to what the lamps originally came ... morewith.but cannot confirm this. You can find nicer globes. Material shades or glass shades for these fairly easily but it would be personal taste so I am selling them with the green shades as pictured. The company who made these is L&L WMC = Loevsky& Loevsky White Metal Castings and was a company situated in New Jersey. The company operated between the 50's and 70's. The switches are on the cords about a foot from the lamps and the cords are nice and long. Maybe 7 or 8 feet in length. You can also use Christmas lights as bulbs(I was told) so you can have a variety of color options. I also do not know if these lamps are bronze. Estate Find ~ Vintage 40" Tall Capodimonte CAMEO Lamp Filigree Cherub Foot Base

A vintage Capodimonte lamp with two cameo faces(one on each side) and a filigree brass? metal base joined at each corner with cherubs and garland wreath work. This is a large size lamp measuring approx. 40-1/2" total height. The lamp without the finial measures about 37" high. To give you an idea of size on the porcelain part the width from handle to handle is approx. 10" the cameo face portion measures approx. 8" across. Measuring the base to the top of the porcelain is 20-3/4" without the brass stem and light fixture. I am not an expert on items we sell but I will describe what I see when I look at the item so you can put that information with the photos. The Capodimonte center is all open work. The cameo portraits are one on the front and a different one on the back so you can change it around to suit your decorating needs. Each of the cameo portraits have what looks like a 24K gold background. The filigree has beautiful aged patina coloring and 4 cherub angel figures. Ready to use, just pick out a shade you like and your ready to plug this lamp in. The electrical cord is clean and unfrayed, the light works when plugged in. This lamp is very sturdy and nicely weighted so it will not easily tip over on your table. This is a quality made piece ~ take a look. Condition is very good. There are NO cracks or chips in the porcelain. The metal is not broken and has a lovely patina tone. The Cherubs have NO broken fingers or missing pieces! The figures panels are framed in a gold gilt border with gilt acanthus leaf at the tops. The center, front panel is taller than the sides and features a gilt, shell topper. There are two rounded/curved sections that separate the front panel from the sides. These are adorned with gilt scrolls that cascade down each side. Antique Vintage Cast Iron Green Stained Slag Glass Angel Cherub Table Lamp
You are bidding on a Vintage Table Lamp. I can find no maker's mark on the lamp itself. There was some information on the old socket. But I think it was just the socket maker, and it has since been replaced with a new one. This lamp is about 22 inches tall with the shade on it. The base of lamp has a square that is about 7.5 x 7.5 inches. The shade is very heavy. It is made of a green stained/slag glass that is very heavy, but light still passes through it very nicely. It measures about 12 inches in diameter and it is about 7.5 inches tall. This lamp weighs a total of just under 12 pounds. When I found this lamp, the socket did not work so I took it to a lamp shop and had the socket replaced, the cord is still the same. The lamp works now just as it should. It has slide mechanism to turn it on or off. There is a finial on the top that ... moreyou remove by screwing it off and then you have access to remove the shade. The shade support is also removeable by pinching the two sides and it comes out of the groove by design. Condition- It is pre-owned and well used. The metal parts of the base and shade have oxidation and discoloration but that definitely adds a nice patina to the piece. The inner glass is intact. There could be a few small flea bites where the glass jostles around because it is just held in place by metal prongs. The lamp works, as stated the socket is new, but the cord was left because I wanted to leave the lamp as original as possible. As far as the age of the piece, I really have no idea, my research has come up empty. It really is a beautiful lamp, and if nothing else, its definitely aesthetically pleasing to look at. Vintage Matching Pair of Gorgeous Gilted Cherub Lamps, Must See!!
These Hollywood Regency lamps are extremely impressive tall vintage table lamps. There are three standing cherubs in each lamp. Lamps are in great shape except for a little gilt flaking on the metal part of the tulip right below the bulb(don't know the proper name of that part of the lamp) No chips or cracks. The heavy gilt leaves with no damage is on the outside of the lamp. The height of the lamp at the top of the harp is approximately 40" The lamp stands 29" at the bulb socket. 24" at the tip of the tulip. The globe at its widest around the gilt is 33" The middle of the globe is 25" around. The metal base is 7" square. Each lamp weights approximately 12.6lbs. These lamps are a beautiful instant eye catcher in any room. It's hard shooting through clear glass. Vintage Antique Putti Cherub/Angel Metal Heavy 3 Shade Lamp Rare Interior Decor
This Cherub/Angel/Putti Lamp is Colorful. Unique and Rare! The winged cherub/putti stands on a metal pillar and marble base holding a torch OF GOLDEN LEAVES FLARING OUT INTO A 3 LIGHT FIXTURE with 3 glass shades. Inside the lamps have cardboard fittings which also dates it. Art Deco. Authentic Period Lighting, interior decorators, bed and breakfast decorators and anyone wanting an authentic period lighting, this lamp could be yours! I have researched for several months now and cannot find another like this with 3 lights. It is a heavy painted metal with marble foot. It measures 24 inches in height. Top width is 16 inches. Base is 8 inches. Wt is heavy at 14 pounds. My best guess is circa 20s maybe earlier! I can see the original wiring at the bottom of the lamp where it has been spliced in a later decade. The original wiring is cloth wrapped ... moreor possibly silk and it has a sheen to it. Works as is. Have to plug it in to turn on. I can send more pictures which show the original wiring if needed. It works like this but you can see the splicing on the bottom so I would definitely have it rewired by your local expert. The last picture shows an area where the 3 cords come through and that area turns. I did not turn all the way and I don't know anymore than that. I have left it alone! The lamp has no serious issues. No breakage or repairs. Quite original with it's beautifully aged patina to the metal but has few areas of the paint scratched. On offer is a stunning Vintage Brass lamp. Whether it is brass plated or exact composition is not known but I did use Brass cleaner and it's original beauty is apparent and it was not damaged. It may be a heavy brass plate. It has a highly detailed base with Cherubs and musical instruments in an ornate raised design. On the bottom edge of the base at equal intervals are 4 faces of a bearded man. It has a heavy swirling patterned glass accent section in excellent condition. The original base plate with the maker's name was removed at some point.Probably when the first rewiring was done. It has been recently rewired and has a new modern safe plug. Hgue 37" tall. 10" across base, globes apprx. 7" across x 6 1/2" high, Irridescent crystal prisms. Marble base, 5 arm globes with Bohemian coin dot cranberry, gold oval dots on bottom 4, round dots on top globe. A couple of the dots have faint wear, unnoticeable. Brass is in great shape. Dusted only, Excellent wiring, has chandelier bulbs. Magnifiecent size and beauty. Turn switch on lamp will turn on all globes or just the top globe, it is quite a spectacle of light shimmering the whole room. No chips on the globes. No broken parts. Vintage Paris Chic Cherub Student Crystal Double Glass Shades Lamp not Shabby
Vintage double cherub student lamp. 26 inches tall. 18 inches wide. Crystal prisms hang from each of the glass shades. There are glass crystals for the base and midsection above the cherubs. Beautiful old antique lamp. The glass shades are original red. The shades are milk glass that are red painted. Some light scratches from age. No cracks or chips in the glass shades. The back brass decoration has one split that has nothing to do with the lights. I have taken many photos to show condition. Overall great condition, works. Very elegant and unique.
