Vintage industrial desk lamp. Features metal articulating arms. Cast iron joints, a vintage cast base, an aged brass lamp shade, and three antique cast iron valve handles. The shade, base and handles have a wonderful patina. Wiring is brand new reproduction brown twisted cloth cord and a new antique style plug. Everything works perfectly and safely. The brass socket and turn key have an oil-rubbed bronze finish. The base is a heavy cast iron. Three separate joints enable the lamp to be positioned in a wide variety of ways. The handles at all three joints make re-positioning easier. The valve handles can easily be switched to the opposite side if preferred. I can do that for the winning bidder if requested. The lamp socket takes regular sized bulbs and looks great with a reproduction type bulb. The reproduction bulb is not included but I can ... moreadvise on where they are available. This lamp simply looks stunning and its compact size allows it to fit in many places. Perfect for your vintage industrial or steampunk décor. Antique Vintage Cast Iron Green Stained Slag Glass Angel Cherub Table Lamp
You are bidding on a Vintage Table Lamp. I can find no maker's mark on the lamp itself. There was some information on the old socket. But I think it was just the socket maker, and it has since been replaced with a new one. This lamp is about 22 inches tall with the shade on it. The base of lamp has a square that is about 7.5 x 7.5 inches. The shade is very heavy. It is made of a green stained/slag glass that is very heavy, but light still passes through it very nicely. It measures about 12 inches in diameter and it is about 7.5 inches tall. This lamp weighs a total of just under 12 pounds. When I found this lamp, the socket did not work so I took it to a lamp shop and had the socket replaced, the cord is still the same. The lamp works now just as it should. It has slide mechanism to turn it on or off. There is a finial on the top that ... moreyou remove by screwing it off and then you have access to remove the shade. The shade support is also removeable by pinching the two sides and it comes out of the groove by design. Condition- It is pre-owned and well used. The metal parts of the base and shade have oxidation and discoloration but that definitely adds a nice patina to the piece. The inner glass is intact. There could be a few small flea bites where the glass jostles around because it is just held in place by metal prongs. The lamp works, as stated the socket is new, but the cord was left because I wanted to leave the lamp as original as possible. As far as the age of the piece, I really have no idea, my research has come up empty. It really is a beautiful lamp, and if nothing else, its definitely aesthetically pleasing to look at. The round tube in the middle is either copper or brass. It could use a little cleaning. I did not want to mess with it. very solid. I haven't seen one of these for years. Nice Vintage Antique Art Deco Cast Iron Expert Dragon Bird Floor Lamp Rewired
This is a heavy duty. Quality antique floor lamp that seems to be almost entirely made of cast iron with a bronze finish that is nearly 100% intact with little wear. It is marked Expert Lamp Mfg. Co. underneath and numbered 502. The only visible rust is on the bottom of the base. It was re-wired, working, cleaned, and oil rubbed to protect the finish and prevent rust formation. Both sockets are new and have pull-chains. There is a large original art deco finial on the top that sits slightly lopsided(I haven't tried to straighten it) but it screws on tightly. It has a very unusual design with a large, heavy cast iron piece in the middle of the post that has a bird-like dragon head on both sides, and another large, heavy cast iron piece toward the base with birds on both sides. The base has art deco designs cast all the way around, and ... morethe post itself is cast with a spiral pattern from top to bottom. The lamp measures 65" tall with the finial. And the base measures 10" across. It will be partially disassembled, packed well, and insured during shipping.

Each of the 8 sides of the shade is 7" the total diameter is 16" I believe it is made out of cast iron, though it has some patina. Heavy. The glass shade is held together by ornately designed brass or bronze chevrons and ribbons. One of the ribbon is missing the top, but if you turn it towards the wall no one will ever notice. I would guess it to be from the first years of the 20th century from the time when the great(and expensive) Tiffany and Handel lamps were made. It is very unique, as most antiques are.
