SIZE/MEASUREMENTS: Height: 145 millimeters(5 3/4 inches) Breadth: 79 millimeters(3 1/8 inches) Thickness: 80 millimeters(3 1/4 inches) CONDITION: Very good. No repairs but the majority of glaze is gone. A little wear and a few blemishes consistent with any decorative item which was buried for over one thousand years. A very thick alkaline soil deposition layer. Not flawless, but certainly in a better than average state of preservation– and unrepaired! Stands on its own. DETAIL: A nicely preserved clay statuette so wonderfully characteristic of Tang Dynasty statuary. Sancai. The four figures that comprises as the main section of the lamp and third the decorative lamp shade. This is the ultimate lamp for a Victorian, Colonel, or even an Art Deco room in your home. Do you or a member of you family play or listen to classical ... moremusical instruments, if so, it would be a great lamp for the one of a kind music room. The base section measures approximately 17" wide by 5" high and 11" deep. The center or 4 figure main section of the lamp measures approximately 15" wide by 18" high and 10" deep. And finally the lamp shade that measures approximately 22" round an 17" high. It total the lamp measures approximately 43" high including the finial that holds the lamp shade. This dainty little porcelain lamp is a beauty. It came from the estate of a Victorian lady's boudoir. Circa mid 1930s. Even though that is later than the Victorian era, I understand from the family she was truly a Victorian Lady! The porcelain lamp is in near pristine condition and the only flaws I can find are a couple of areas of almost microscopic paint loss on the gold gilt"handles" The base appears to be brass with heavy patina at first glance but I think it may be made of iron or some other heavy metal. The lamp works and has what appears to be the original cloth covered wire which is in good condition. The plug is Leviton and is. I believe, Bakelite. The bulb receptacle, made by Eagle, appears to be a replacement. The harp is missing and there is no shade. With the addition of the right shade, I would think the lamp could ... moreeasily be used without a harp. It stands about 13-1/2" high to the top of the bulb receptacle and about 6" wide at the widest point. This would be lovely in shabby. Antique Victorian banquet lamp. It stands 32" tall. The base is 8 1/2" across. The lamp is white and yellow porcelain with hand painted flowers inside raised hand painted gold cartouches. This is not transfer printed. The painting is very beautiful. The base is brass as are all the fittings. The lamp was originally oil but has been recently electrified. Hand polished and re-wired. The brass cap on the top of the porcelain lamp bowl says Made In The United States Of America. The shade is white porcelain, and came with the lamp. I don't know the age, but it doesn't seem new. The base is brass colored cast aluminum or pot metal(a magnet does not stick to it) But the rod that contains the wire up to the lamp socket is a brass-colored metal that has some discoloration. The figurines appear to be made of a porcelain bisque and are painted nicely ... morewith much detail. The main issue with condition is that the delicate fingers on both have suffered some damage but it is only noticeable upon close inspection and does not deter from their overall beauty. Beautiful vintage bedroom boudoir table lamp. It has a cream/beige colored background with hand painted assorted flowers. It has two handles painted with gold gilt and trimmed in gold also. The finial is made of cream bakelite. Also included is a hand made Victorian style lampshade of cream brocade and trimmed with braid and fringe of cream and orange sherbet. This lamp would be a great addition to your bedroom as a table lamp or for your make-up sitting table. The lamp has been tested and works. Antiq Vntg Dainty Victorian Ceramic Porcelain Lamp Flower leaf Gold Ivory Pink
Exquisite. A ntique. Vintage, Victorian Ceramic Lamp. Ceramic/ Porcelain lamp is extremely dainty and very well done with soft pink flowers and delicate leaves and buds trailing down. It has real gold(probably 22kt) accent lines that don't show much of any wear at all except near the top of the lamp. It may look like there are completely bare spots in the gold near the top but there are not. If you look closely at the pictures. You can see that the spots that look bare are actually reflecting light and just very shiny. There is rust on the metal just above and below ceramic or porcelain part but it's still absolutely stunning! It just kind of blends as a vintage patina. I have wiped it down with a damp rag but it could use a little more thorough cleaning. Maybe a toothbrush over the flowers to get into the crevices. However I have ... morea very long history of damaging items due to my over-zealous OCD cleaning so I am leaving any more thorough cleaning to the buyer. The raised motif around the portrait, there is a 1/2" band of 22k gold surrounding the base followed by 2 smaller bands of 22k gold, and 1 more band of gold surrounding the top rim of the base. There is very minimal Gold Loss, some on the handles, but it may have been created this way to give an Antique look back in the 1940's. Pair Cordey Victorian Man & Woman Porcelain Lamps with “PAPKA” Lace Excellent
Pair Cordey Victorian Man& Woman Porcelain Lamps with“PAPKA” Lace Excellent The Cordey China Co was founded by Boleslaw Cybis. A Lithuanian born artist. He studied art in St. Petersburg and Warsaw and came to the U.S. in 1939 to paint murals for Poland for the New York World Fair. He first founded the Cordey China Company around 1942 and then Cybis Porcelain around 1950. His Cordey figurines are exceptional for their floral decoration and elaborate Victorian clothes. Real lace was often dipped in liquefied clay, known as"Papka" to add a realistic element to the clothing of the figurines. The lace burns away in the firing process leaving only the porcelain. Some fairly simple traditional lamps were made, but the ornate Victorian figures are most collected. The advent of Cybis Porcelains saw a change to a more stylized or naturistic, ... moreform of figurines. The lamp consists of the figurine bust. A separate porcelain base, and a metal filigree base with attached rod and electrical socket and harp. A shade is not included. The pair is in exceptional condition considering the delicate nature of the figurines. The one leaf on the front of the ladies dress is partially broken off and there is slight crazing on the figurines. There is a tiny repair to the gold line and a small"bruise" on the porcelain base for the lady. If there is any other loss. It is minimal. Sometimes the lace edges may flake away but I do not see any. I've included several close-up photos and would be happy to email more. The metal bases show a bit of age and the felt bottom is torn. I did not take the lamp apart to look for the signature or number. They are approximately 10" 10 1/2" tall from the bottom of the metal stand to the tip of the figurine's hat. The overall height from the base to the top of the harp is about 20" The electrical wiring appears to be original so rewiring is recommended. I will take extra care in packing these and have added a handling charge into the shipping shown by the shipping

Up for bid is a pair of porcelain victorian figurine dresser lamps. The figurines are on a metal base and stand 10.5" to the top of the figurine. They stand 13" to the top of the light fixture. They are loose from the base. But I think they just need tightening. They are in perfect shape no cracks or stratches or crazing. The close-up of the lady looks like she has a mark on her face, it was just a speck of dirt. They are quite detailed facially. Lovely outfits, nice soft colors. The cords are quite dirty and the plugs are out of date and maybe should be replaced, but they light up. I think it would be better if the fixture were replaced with a fixture and bow so a taller lamp shade could be used. They are no makers marks on them. This auction is for the pictured Victorian brass Cherub lamp with porcelain painted scenes. The lamp is not signed on the outside that I can see. The porcelain paintings are of the highest quality as shown. There is little doubt in my mind they are German. Perhaps Meissen or Dresden. They may be marked somewhere not showing. The candles are wooden. There is a tight crack in the rear main body near the top clearly shown. I was asked about it and realized it ran down below the castle. Its so ... moretight I overlooked it. I am adding close up photos. The bobeches have holes for prisms. The lamp could be used for real candles I would think. The wire is on the outside and it may have been electrified in its lifetime. I don't know the history I just have loved it. I have it on a 3 stage touch dimmer so I never use the switch. This works wonderful and will be included. The lamp is very heavy so shipping will be a lot. The shade is of the highest quality, lined and newer. Description This is a handsome antique lamp reflector. Shade, or crown with a white enamel or porcelain finish on the inside. The shade has a nice 3 D design stamped on it and it is enhanced with a gold and blue painted design in the original finish. The shade is metal, brass or tin perhaps. Antique 20" Set Italy Victorian Colonial Porcelain Figural Man Woman Table lamps
A very nice set of old lamps. These both work 100% I can not find any chips or cracks anywhere on the porcelain parts of the lamps. I am not selling the shades. I am giving them with the purchase of the lamps. The shades are nice looking, but they do have a few condition issues. The lamps stand about 12 inches from base to top of lamp socket. They are about 16.5 inches tall with shades on.

Victorian Vintage Antique Brass Table Lamp White Bisque Porcelain Shade Roses
Up for consideration is this Victorian Vintage Antique Brass Table Lamp with White Bisque Porcelain Shade featuring Roses. We married the three parts the lamp base. Shade and hurricane globe. The Antique Shade was found in San Juan Bautista, California. It was part of a hanging chandelier that came out of or was rescued from an old building there, we believe a bar. It is in very good to excellent'as found' condition. There are some very light black specs on the white bisque porcelain(see photos) There are no chips or cracks. On the brass base there are areas of tarnish or patina(see photos) We will also note that the area photographed was on the back side where the cord come out of the base. Therefore it shouldn't be visible from front. We did only a light cleaning and no polishing.
