The etched EAPG font is in excellent original condition and the Don Juan cameo base has been restored. Pedestal has new white paint and I see one cameo is pronounced and clear while the other is faint and hard to see Don's hat feather. Also I see the narrow section of the pedestal was damage and put back together. I do not know what technic the person used to do this repair and he has passed on now. This Auction is for an Antique Victorian. Gone With the Wind, Kerosene Oil Lamp. It measures 19" to the Top of the Antique Frosted and Floral etched Globe Ball Shade. The shade has to small chips to the fitter end that goes into shade holder so it is not visible when on the Lamp.The oil Reservoir is frosted Pressed Glass and the bottom part of the stem with painted Butterfly I Believe is a soft Blue milkglass. The base is footed and chased, etched. The burner is marked and has Patent date on the turn wheel for wick but my eyes are not good enough to make it out. Pr Antique victorian etched Glass Cranbery hurricane Lamps, Prisms true flashed
Beautiful tall etched glass hurricanes with dangling prism crystals in an unusual bright burgundy/pink shade. Probably from middle or late 18th century. Perfect condition. It has electrical wiring but someone has cut the wires at the base(shown in the photos) all electrical is excellent, features toggle switches. It is about 20 inch tall with the hurricanes about 8 inches tall. These are not stained they are flashed. All the wiring is intact and the socket looks in good shape and very solid. I think the cut the wiring in the bottom to avoid carrying around the wires. There is couple of inches of wire in the base that one can attach the plug. I believe one can wire the whole thing. It is very stright forward, the wire goes through a open channal and connects to the socket, not complicated at all. This auction features a Victorian Etched Cranberry Glass Tulip Duplex Oil Lamp Shade 4" Fitter. The pattern is Ribbons and Bows and Flowers at the top and 4 big Flowers at the bottom. With other patterns woven through out. I tried to take as many pics as possible to show the pattern. It is in good antique condition, no chips or cracks, all I see is some bubbles inside the glass and I am told that that is normal. Shaded cranberry glass shade with a stunning Art Nouveau repeat pattern design to the main body. The moulding to the glass is exquisite at the bottom of the shade are two rows of internal convex circles. Above this the internal moulding appears to be in vertical segments following the shape of the shade. At the same time these are interspersed by clam shell type decoration coming down from the top apperture, really hard to explain and even harder to photograph! However the overall effect is very fluid and delightful in its design. It stands approximately 18.5cm high. The apperture of the base is 10.1cm. A 4" fitter. Condition overall is excellent and the shade is free ... morefrom any hairlines. A few bubbles in the glass commensurate with the age of the glass and manufacture. Some tiny fleabites to the base fitter rim and the top opening apperture commensurate with age and use. On or two clear air bubbles and one which can be felt internally on the shade as a slightly rough tiny area as it has burst on the surface.
