The lamp has an ornate brass font and cast iron base. The top of the font is embossed"The New Juno No. 2 Made in U.S.A. The filler cap is embossed"Made in United States of America" ... moreThe lamp comes with a beautiful hand painted globe with a daisy chain that circles the entire globe. Two of the photos show the globe lit so you can see how pretty it is. This is a tall lamp that is in excellent condition. It measures 25 1/4" tall to the top of the glass globe and is 29" tall including the chimney. The base is about 6" square. The globe is 9" in diameter and the font is 6" in diameter. Elegant floral sprigs adorn both sides of the lamp and the base is a nice unique style that I am sure you will love. No chips. Cracks, fractures that I can see. May need a little more cleaning. The cap does come open but the canister that you'd put the oil in does not come out. Just for those who would want to turn it back into an oil lamp. Beautiful Victorian Hinks and Sons Ceramic Oil Banquet Lamp with Original Acid Etched Glass Shade This lovely Victorian oil/kerosene lamp by Hicks and Sons is all original from its base to its duplex burners to its acid etched. Floral design, glass shade. This example of a vintage English banquet lamp has a commanding, and yet quietly elegant, presence. The lamp stands over 23.5" tall by over 6" wide at the base; the piece is quite substantial and heavy probably due to the heavy ceramic, weighted metal base. The naturalistic, calming colors of blue, green, ochre and cream in the ceramic portion(Doulton? complement the quiet elegance of the acid etched floral glass shade. The ceramic base almost has an arabesque design look to it with some elements of aesthetic(nature) movement. As you can see from the photos, some of the ceramic ... moredesign is raised in certain portions of the motif giving it an embossed, three dimensional look. The middle ceramic component is seated on a footed brass base; the oil font sits down in a brass holder seated in the ceramic portion. The lamp is marked by the makers in the following places: on the brass neck near the two wick turners(Hinks and Son's Patent" on the end of the wick turners(Best British Maker F" with what looks like a sun logo in the middle) on the very bottom of the metal base(Hinks and Son's.468" This lamp is in what I consider excellent to very good condition, especially considering its age and utilitarian purpose. The brass footed base has some indications of age such as darkening and pitting; I could find no cracks, no chips and no imperfect areas in the ceramic portion. The only imperfections in this over 100 year old lamp can be attributed to age and use and are the following: several flakes, tiny chips in the glass in the bottom rim of the glass shade; these flakes cannot be seen while the shade is resting in its brass holder. Antique Victorian Late 1800's converted oil lamp. I'am changing the theme to the room that this was in. And can no longer use it. I bought this about 20 yrs. ago from a shop that restored old lamp's, and light fixtures. By restoring this, it has been clear coated I believe, so it would never need polishing. The year's I have had this, I have never had to do anything, but wipe it with a soft cloth. My starting bid is much lower than what I paid. This was converted to electric. Brass tank that has raised work on it. Cherub blowing a horn, that is removable. Don't know if this was the original horn or not, but appears to be, pointed at one end so it fits up to the mouth. The only part of the lamp that a magnet would stick to was the base. The shade is not original. It has color's of pink. Yellow, blue and green. Glass ... morechimney is not original. Cherub's body is approx. 8 1/2" tall. Overall lamp without the shade is 18 1/2" tall. With the shade it is 28" tall.Base is 5 1/2" Brass tank has 5 dents in the brass, 4 are very tiny and one I show in one of my pics, that is larger. On the underside there is a dent, and on the raised part there is a dent.There are some scratches on the upper part of the tank, that show dark under, don't know why since a magnet would not stick to the tank, see pic's. Beautifully moulded font is decorated with 6 raised drops, between each is a delicate raised white enamel painted flower with gold gilt leaves. The base is black enamel glaze over metal on which sits a brass foot leading to a brass reeded column. Gorgeous etched glass shade and a flat sided clear glass chimney. The lamp has 48 beautiful shimmering crystals circling the chandelier top in which the prisms measure 4" long! One ball crystal is missing but the long crystal is there, and also 2 have chips on the bottom of the long part. The lamp has three arms each with 6 leaf scrolled leaves. Stunning large double globe"Gone With The Wind" lamp. Lamp is 15 inches across and 30 inches tall. Beautiful hues of purple and pink. With hand painted peach colored roses and daisies. Both globes light up, top and bottom. There are no chips or cracks in the painted flowers or background. There is only one tiny chip on the top ruffling, at the back. It is totally unnoticeable. The colors are pinks. Purples pansies. Green leaves and with some yellow, a touch of blue in the back of the lamp. The lamp stands 27 inches in height and top globe is 11 and 1/2 inches in diameter. Antique Banquet OIL LAMP Converted Cherubs Patent April 30. 1885 USA GWTW 22" Antique Vtg Old Banquet Table Victorian LAMP Light Cherub April 30 1885 GWTW 21 plus inch tall banquet lamp. No globe or chimney. An old oil lamp converted to electric. Electric portion works. Original patent date April 30. 1885. On the metal behind the original wick adjustment knob- see second photograph- possibly 1895) The dial reads"Made in US of America. Cherub pattern. Victorian. This looks like a"Gone with the Wind" lamp. We are not experts. And I can't say for sure that this would be. Technically, a GWTW lamp as the lower portion/globe is metal. Overall the lamp does appear to be in very good shape. There are some very small markings on a couple of the cherubs; these small areas look like patina or oxidation or some kind of external ... morechange. We have closely inspected the lamp. We do not see any cracks or major defects. Naturally. There are some scratches and there is some oxidation on the brass sections of the burner assembly. The lamp is being sold in as is condition. It will be shipped to you in a large box with ridiculous amounts of bubble wrap to protect the lamp. Please review our feedback carefully. This is 21 inches tall from the base to the top. The base is 8 inches with four claw feet. Theres one spot on the power cord where one of the two wires is exposed a little bit. Antique Victorian banquet parlor gone with the wind lamp.The lamp is just under 22 inches in height to the top of the chimney. The top shade is approx. 10 inches in width. The bottom shade is approx. 7 1/2 inches in width. The floral design is hand painted. There is some wear to the painted shades. Nothing bad that would distract from the beauty of this lamp. Please check all pics. As they best describe the condition. Nothing was altered in the base when the lamp was electrified. The burner was altered, but it would be a easy fix to convert back to oil. Just replace the burner. The base still has a slight smell and lite residue from old oil. The lamp shade has normal roughness where it sits in the fitter end. I can't find a makers name on the lamp. However on the underside of the cast iron base, there is a number in the casting 202, along ... morewith three letters FCC. Any questions please ask. Beautiful Antique Red Satin Glass Electrified Oil lamp. approximately 22 1/2 inches tall. with the chimney it is 25 1/2 inches. Shade alone is approx 9 1/2 tall and 9 1/2 inches diameter( across) The fitter is 4 inches. Base is marked#304 on underside. Lamp is in very good condition and working order. It has been electrified at some point in its life. There is a tiny flake chip on the bottom of shade fitter, and the usual age roughness to edge. See photos. Victorian Parlor Lamp c1895 Ornate Miller Juno Floral Ball Shade Banquet GWTW
Beautiful electrified antique Victorian parlor lamp. The total height with the shade is approximately 24" The height of the lamp to the base of the shade is approximately 14" The glass ball shade is in great shape with no cracks or chips. It has a brass trim ring at the top. The lamp is electrified and in good working condition. There is no switch that I could see and is turned on by plugging it in. The only markings I could find on the lamp are the number 102 on the bottom. MADE IN UNITED STATES OF AMERICA on the cap, and Pat. May 21 1895 on the wick raiser. The lamp base is made of mixed metals. The main body appears to be copper or possibly another copper coated metal. The upper part of the lamp is brass. The handles and base are a non magnetic cast metal, possible nickel? The only area that seems to be magnetic is the decorative ... morering around the body of the lamp below the handles. The base and handles are all pretty much a white metal color but appears to have originally had a gold/gilt finish that is mostly worn away. I have done my best to show the lamp as completely as possible in the photos but please don't hesitate to ask questions if I have missed anything. Because of the fragile globe this item will require very careful packing and quite a large box. Shipping is based on shipping weight and box dimensions. I will include both USPS and Fedex options. It’s very heavy(weighs almost 12 lbs. on a postal scale! and measures 25-1/2” high to the top edge of the burner(27-3/4” to the top edge of the burner) x 35-7/8” to the top of the chimney. The lamp has been electrified by drilling through the bottom of the burner with the cord running through the column and between the raised feet. For sale is a Beautiful Antique Gone With The Wind Lamp. The lamp is about 23 inches tall from the top of the globe to the base. The lamp has been converted to electricity. Both globe and lamp base light. And have new bulbs. There is chipping around the top and bottom rim of the lamp base, but is hidden by the brass end rings and not visible when the lamp is assembled. There are no other chips, cracks, or repairs to this lamp. It is quite beautiful as you can see in the attached photographs. The lamp is missing its clear glass chimney, but displays nicely without one in my opinion. If you prefer it with a chimney they are readily available online from several sources such as. 19thC Antique Banquet Parlor Lamp. Victorian Pewter Finish Spelter, Marble Cnvtd Offered is a late 19thC Banquet Lamp. Converted to electricity and restored professionally. Reticulated font holder. The metalwork is spelter with a pewter finish. The center column is Alabaster, and the base has a grey marble inset with rouge tint veining. The lamp measures 27" tall to the top of the font holder. Excellent restored condition. The lamp may have had a brass finish originally as some color is visible within the crevices. The ring between the top and the font holder is a replacement. Note that color is OFF in the pictures. This lamp is a burgundy/cranberry color! Huge Victorian table or parlor oil/kerosene lamp. From the hand painted flowers to the colors to the impressive large size. This lamp is absolutely stunning. This is an antique lamp dating to about the 1890's. Although it may appear differently in the pictures, the main color is a burgundy or cranberry. It has been converted to electric however all you will need to convert it back to oil is the flame spreader and the chimney. Being a center draft type burner, no drilling was necessary when the conversion was done.The tank appears fine and the wick riser turns correctly. The first click of the switch lights up the base, the second turn lights both top and bottom globes, the 3rd click just the top globe and of course the 4th click turns the lamp off. Antique Victorian Banquet Oil Lamp w/ Acid Etched Cranberry Glass Ruffled Shade
This is a stunning antique Victorian column banquet oil lamp with the following features: It measures a total of 25" tall. Shade is a ruffled"tulip" style with cranberry edges and an acid etched floral design; acid etched cranberry font with grape clusters and leaves and coin dot accents around the bottom; brass column(with original, lovely patina) frosted inner hurricane shade; and marble base, brass switch is marked B&P. It is an oil lamp converted to electric and works perfectly. It can very easily be converted back to oil by simply unscrewing the top(there have been NO holes drilled, etc. thank goodness! The only flaws noted are some discoloration on the inner hurricane shade, some very small nicks on the marble base, and one extremely tiny flea bite nick on the edge of the upper shade. I only detected this by running ... moremy finger over it. I have another lamp that is identical to this that I'm listing if you are interested in a pair. If you do purchase both lamps please be aware that I will not be able to combine shipping due to the lamps being so delicate, heavy, and fragile. c. 1900 Rare Consolidated Paneled GWTW Parlor Banquet Lamp, Victorian Antique!
This very-victorian-looking parlor lamp was manufactured by the Consolidated Lamp& Glass Company around 1900. It measures 23 1/2" to the top of the 9 1/4" ball shade. The ball shade has 12 panels and retains the original fancy beaded brass heat ring. The fitter edge has a few tiny flakes.nothing significant. The base has 16 panels and an interesting shape! The glass is in overall very good condition with no damage. The paint and gilt highlights on the leaves are also in good condition. However I did note a little bit of a brown cast to the yellow background paint in areas.not sure if this is staining or just overspray from the brown paint.very minor. This lamp retains its correct original molded grape spill ring and matching base.these are only seen on Consolidated lamps. Please note that the font has been electrified and due ... moreto the electrification process is stationary in the base.I am unable to pull it out to determine if the tank is intact. Please also note that the brass connector piece between the lower glass font and the cast metal base is a replacement.the original was probably split. Since taking these photos I did cut off and discard the very brittle and fragile electrical cord. I also unscrewed the base and gently pulled the brass connector piece away to determine the condition of the glass underneath.looks just fine!
