VERY RARE Tiffany Studios EARLY Leaded Favrile Glass Bronze Table Lamp Late 19c
I am so excited to offer this very rare exceptional Tiffany Studios Bronze and Leaded Favrile Glass lamp Very early piece. Possibly(and probably) one of the first 16" tall. Shade is 12" in diameter Let's start with the signatures. They are everywhere they are supposed to be. Base- Signed Tiffany Studios New York with the pre-1902 5 digit serial number of 10752 Shade- Bronze applied tag signed Tiffany Studios New York Favrile lower shade- Signed L.C.T. I have photographed all of these for your inspection Signatures aren't everything when it comes to Tiffany Studios so let's move on to the other details. Wear and tear- At the top of the shade. There is a panel that has loosened over the years. There is also a crack in one of the lower triangular panels. On the lower favrile shade, someone had very long ago wrapped this ... morein tape to protect it while being secured into place, it is dirty black and crumbles now and it is very hard to read the L.C.T. but it is there. One of the pull switches is stuck in the on position and will not move. The wiring is old on this lamp and the sockets are original. I was attempting to inspect the socket of the side that is stuck on. I stuck my finger in there( and it lit me up. The cord is a cloth covered Leviton and I'm unsure if this is original but it does have significant age. The pull chains are bronze and have the correct early bronze ball pull. Acetone nail polish remover did not affect the color of the glass. The patina is even on all parts of the lamp and the quality of the bronze is wonderful. As it should be. You will want to see pictures of the areas I highlighted. So don't hesitate to send a message, I have no problem sending anything you want to see. Why am I selling this here? A very impressive Tiffany Studios lamp in the Apple Blossom pattern. The 16 inch diameter shade executed in pretty hues of green. Rose, pink, and yellow. Very few checks to the glass and all very tightly adhering. Solid bronze base has developed a beautiful greenish brown patina and is approximately 22 inches tall(with original three bulb sockets) in a simple, yet attractive, pattern adding to the overall beauty of the shade. UNIQUE LEADED LAMP NOT HANDEL DUFFNER OR TIFFANY STUDIOS
You are viewing an early 1900's leaded lamp made by the Unique Lamp Company in NY. The shade is about 20 1/2" diameter and about 10" deep. The flowers go from pink when it's turned off. Then. To red when they are back-lit. I'm not sure of he pattern, but I've heard the flowers referred to as cabbage roses. One of the flowers has two pieces that are chipped. They should be visible in the close-up photos. The flower next to it to the right has two tight hairline cracks. I didn't notice until a few minutes ago. But the next to last photo shows a close-up of an area which has been repaired. I count around 10 pieces which have been re-soldered. I'm not sure if any glass was changed or not. A lot of these old big lamps pull apart at some of the solder joints. The base is very heavy and stands about 27 1/2" ... moretall to the top of the finial. I put a magnet on the bottom of the base and it would not stick. I scratched the bottom and the scratched area was silver. So, I'm guessing it's spelter. If you have questions feel free to ask. RIVIERE OR APOLLO STUDIOS (?) SHADES - COPY OF TIFFANY'S PINE NEEDLE - PAIR
RIVIERE OR APOLLO STUDIOS( SHADES- COPY OF TIFFANY'S PINE NEEDLE- NON MATCHING PAIR- This non-matching pair of shades are a copy of Tiffany's Pine Needle desk set items and it is believed to have been made by either Riviere Studios or Apollo Studios of New York. Riviere and Apollo copied many of Tiffany's creations as did others but both were involved in making desk set pieces. There was no lamp found and it is believed that these were hanging shades and the top piece was tightened around a lamp socket as shown in one of the photos. They are identical in size- 7 inches in height. Bottom is 5.5 inches square and top is 2.75 inches square. The only difference in the two is the bottom edges- one is flat, the other is curved. Glass is green with white running through it and all of the glass is perfect. Everything appears to be original ... morewith no repairs. The bottom filigree is perfect and complete on one of the shades(flat bottom) and on the other(curved bottom) there is less than 20 percent missing on one panel and about 45 percent missing on another panel with the other 2 panels perfect. Photos clearly show the missing pieces. Great patina with one panel showing something runing from top to bottom that would most likely be able to be removed. It is shown in the photos. Flat rate shipping is $30.00 for the US which includes insurance. No reserve and absolutely no returns. If you have a lamp or lamps for these shades, you would have a beautiful example 1920s style. High Quality Reproduction Tiffany Studios Twisted Vine Base
Up for auctions is this amazingly high quality Reproduction Tiffany Studios"Twisted Vine" lamp base. I have had this lamp stored for several years now. But have decided to sell it, so others can appreciate it. Originally when I bought this lamp, I had some Tiffany experts take a look at it and try to conclude whether it was original or not(From photographs) and one party thought that it was original while the other thought it was a reproduction. Instead of spending another $1000 dollars shipping it back and forth to have a true determination, I just decided to keep it, because I loved it regardless. Over my years of examining it, I do believe this is a reproduction Tiffany lamp. However, you can't get much closer to the actual quality of Tiffany, than with this lamp. Whomever made it, took great care to go over every detail. ... moreThe first thing to declare is the lamp is missing the riser, which screws into the shade holder. It has been like that since I bought it, so I am not sure where the riser went. The dimensions of the lamp are as follows: The lamp stands at 24" tall as shown in picture#1(so that is to the top of the shade holder) The arms for the light sockets are 9" in diameter, the base of the lamp measures as 10" in diameter, the bottom plate of the lamp measures at just under 9" 1/16th of an inch under) and the lamp it self weighs approximately 14 lbs. The bottom plate of the lamp is actually signed(Tiffany Studios/ New York/ 443. However. I do not believe is is a genuine stamp, and it is one of the more compelling reasons why I believe the lamp to be a reproduction. The signature is photographed above, so please examine it yourself. Also, the base plate does not stay attached the to bottom of the base at the moment. When i bought it, it looks as if there was soldering that had kept it in place but has since come undone, but I have not done anything to the lamp since the day I bought it. For auction is an art glass and metal table lamp made by Tiffany Studios. New York. This lamp is known as a"Candle Lamp" in the Tiffany Catalog line. When assembled this art glass lamp stands 12 1/2" tall and the shade has a diameter of 7 1/4" at its widest point. The bottom of the base has a diameter of 3 7/8" This base consist of gold Favrile. Aurene style of art glass in a twisted candlestick form. The stem that holds the shade is also made of Favrile art glass. It has a pulled feather design on calcite white background. There is a metal flange at the bottom of the insert that has finger tabs. These tabs are used to adjust the fit into the candlestick bottom as to hold the shade level on the lamp. The top of this insert has it original shade carriage fitted to the glass insert and it still retains its original ... moremini key-less candelabra socket to accommodate electricity. Then there is the beautiful ruffled Favrile art glass lighting shade that fits on this. The color of the shade is outstanding. The shades displays a Gold Favrile glass that bleeds from the top to the mid section. Then there is a beautiful fuchsia ring that separates the color of the lower half. The lower half has a green hue to bronze color that has a wonderful onion skin texture throughout. The entire shade has iridescence and when viewing at an angle the fuchsia highlights are simply gorgeous. When looking inside the shade it looks metallic green in color and is similar to Loetz's Metalin style of glass. The entire lamps is considered to be in excellent condition as the only issue is a small flea nick along the inside edge of the shade. This cannot be seen when display and the only reason I know it was there was from running my finger along the inside edge. This is considered insignificant. The underside bottom has scratches and is typical of normal age wear. The shade is signed on the inside top lip in a counter clockwise fashion"L.C.T. On the top lip it also has the numbers"3067" lightly scratched.

c1905 Gorham Art Nouveau Leaded Glass Lamp Deco Handel Tiffany Studios Era
DESCRIPTION- This is a great lamp by Gorham Lamp co c1905. It has a great classical look and feel. The hundred year old granite glass gives the room a great warm feel. It does have a little more masculine feel then a lot of the bright flowery patterns that try to compete with Tiffany during the period. This would make a great addition to your parlor or tap room. Only has a couple tight hairlines that are hard to find worst one shown in last picture. Great original patina. It works great and is ready to display. A riser was added at some point which is optional but included. Felt on the bottom is warring away but I wanted to keep it as long as it will hold.
