The floor lamp table has been painted in a French blue/teal and distressed. The distressed technique is rubbed so that the original, dark finish is revealed in several areas. RARE ANTIQUE MARBRO MOZART 64" GOLD LEAF FLOOR TABLE LAMP 1940s MUSIC BEETHOVEN
We are pleased to offer this amazingly stunning. Beautiful, and"very rare" Marbro Mozart floor lamp. This is a stunning lamp that dates to the late 1940s. It is a large floor lamp which features a fantastic plaster cast sculpture of Mozart. The lamp is exquisitely detailed. Mozart is in powdered wig and the finest, period attire. He is depicted as playing the violin and his posture and body positioning do give the illusion of motion. The lamp arm screws into the back of the sculpture so that the sculpture itself is not directly a part of the wiring. There were not too many of these lamps made and few are still in existence today. The lamp is in good, antique condition. The wiring and sockets are original and the socket caps are missing(an easy fix) The wiring is in working order but should be addressed. The sculpture does have some ... morerepairs and some minor chips which have been retouched. The violin appears to have had the handle repaired. The bow, which slides into Mozart's hand is missing the closure clasp. NONE of these issues are terribly distracting and can be resolved. In general, the lamp is very nice for its age and is an impressive piece. In mint condition, this lamp would likely command $6000.00 or more. We have priced with the above issues considered. The lamp also retains the original shade and lamp finial. The shade has some tears but I feel that it should be included with the lamp. Please note that many of these lamps were hand made by the artists who were employed by Marbro. This is a fantastic example of their craftsmanship. The lamp measures 64" tall to the top of the shade and 60" to the top of the finial. The sculpture of Mozart is 36" tall. The wooden base is 12" in diameter. THE LAMP IS INCREDIBLY HEAVY. Antique 4 Light Art Deco ABCO Candelabra Floor Lamp w/ Onyx Base & Tray Table
This is a nice unique vintage floor lamp with tray attached for use as an end table. Four working sockets on top, and an excellent, smooth, shiny, undamaged onyx piece on the base. The three side lights can be lit one, two, or all three at a time by the switch in the middle, and the top socket has it's own switch. I don't have a shade for it, but there is a brass finial on top to attach a shade. The cord looks relatively old(not original) but in good condition. The bottom is marked ABCO and numbered 460. The metal is finished in a bronzy gold color and the tray has a copper finish. Most metal parts have a darkened patina from age, typical wear(light scuffs, scratches, finish loss) and greenish spots of oxidation, but it is in good condition overall. The lamp measures 59" H x 9" W at the sockets, 12 W at the base, and the ... moretable measures about 13 3/4" in diameter. This is a bouillotte lamp with two large candlestick sockets under a single, tole shade. The shade is metal with an antiqued, golden color with an accent band of gold around the upper and lower perimeters. The lamp has an acorn finial and an arrow adjustment. The lamp is not marked but is of very nice quality. It is in good condition with only minor evidence of age or use. Killer mod floor lamp from the 1970's. Rectangular white column frame with yellow. White, and smoked acrylic panels. Seriously, one of the coolest lamps I've ever seen. Could also be used as a tall table lamp. h 34" | w 10.5" | d 10.5" The lamp has two sockets. One is a lantern at the base surrounded by smoked acrylic panels, and the upper lamp illuminates the white and yellow panels for soft and swanky ambient lighting. 3-way switch lights bottom, top, or both. There are two consecutive yellow panels. And two white. Can be rotated to show one of each or two of same color. All 4 lower panels are smoky gray/black. Unmarked. Condition is excellent for age.
