Wonderful detail work, the lamp ... morehas a bronze finish, I don't think it is solid bronze, but it is quite heavy and does not attract a magnet. I believe the top hardware is replaced, but both pulls are working smoothly. You will need hardware to attach a shade. There are no cracks, or breaks. You can see the mold line running through the feathers toward the bottom, and there is some finish wear, including a spot that looks like a paint drip. This a fabulous and extremely rare form, unfortunately it is not signed to identify a maker, but it was definitely done in the era of Tiffany, Handel, Pittsburgh and the other fine makers of that time. Measures about 20 3/4" tall and weighs about 6 3/4 pounds as it is right now. Shipping charges include insurance and signature confirmation.

The shade is made of a cast metal with a bronze finish and fitted with six amber(caramel) slag glass panels. The base has a pull chain double socket and is also made of cast metal. There is some age appropriate surface wear to both parts of the lamp such a patina and finish loss. Also there is a crack in the shade's metal frame(see pic 7) and some light scratches on some of the glass panels but none that are apparent(most of these are just deep striations in the glass made during production) Otherwise the lamp is wonderful condition and is in perfect working order as well. The shade measures 16 1/4" W x 8 1/4" H. The lamp base measures 20 1/4" H(with& without shade) x 7 1/8" W and is marked on the bottom: E M& Co 1159. Good Luck& Happy Bidding! Up for consideration is this Ultra Rare Beautiful Pair of Chandler I Bronze Art Nouveau Art Boudoir Table Lamps with Cream or Beige Tulip Style Slag Glass Shades. To find a(almost) matching pair of these lamps is unbelievable! We always want to be clear. The box in between the lamps is NOT included but may be available in another listing. The lamps match but are not identical. There are little differences that one wouldn't see unless they did a very in depth inspection. They feature in-line on/off switches. On one the switch part is cream on the other it is brown. The lamps globe fixtures, one is probably original but the other looks newer. The newer fixture is metal the other looks to be bronze. They are in very good to excellent conditon considering there probable age. Which would probably be the 20's. They both work perfectly and ... moreappear to have been rewired at some point. There are no chips or breaks in any of the slag glass panels. 3 Arts & Crafts Slag Leaded Panel Glass Lamp Shades - NO RESV - Bradley Hubbard
Up for no reserve auction is a set of 3 Antique slag glass panel lamp shades. The round shade has no cracked panels. It is approximately 9.5" tall. 8" diameter at the top and 3.25" at the bottom fitter. The square overlay shade with flowers has 4 panels which are all in good condition. It looks like 2 were replaced at some time. It measures 7" tall, 6" across the top and 5.25" across the bottom. The tall square shade is guaranteed to be Bradley& Hubbard. It is signed on one of the bottom clips holding the glass"Pat'd Oct 20 08" It has 4 amber panels and 4 green panels. My guess is that the glass was replaced in this. Also, as you can see in the last picture, there is some damage to the filigree. I posted nice, large pictures of all the shades. Today. I have for auction, a vintage mid century or retro style floor lamp that measures approx. 69 1/2" in height. It has three plastic faux slag glass tulip or pedal shades. They measures approx. 7" x 8" No damage to the shades other than a few small surface scratches. The pole is brass colored with some surface scratches. The base is metal with a woodgrain pattern. There is something wrong with the switch, as you have to wiggle it to have all the lights light. I will be shipping the lamp in two boxes, and the pole will be broken down in two pieces. Up for bid is an ANTIQUE or VINTAGE Glass TOOTHPICK HOLDER in PINK SHADES of what might be described as OPALESCENCE. Or could it be SLAG? This was part of Mom’s collection; she passed on some time ago, and we are just now getting around to listing it. Due to retirement, we must downsize our home. We have no one to will it to. This lovely pink glass toothpick holder measures approximately 2 ¼” from the bottom to top of tallest scallop and 1 ¾” across. The top edge is a scallop design with 6 points. The inside of the piece is not quite smooth and has a sort of bubble hole on the very bottom. The outside is a raised almost hobnail design in ovals for the bottom inch. There are no chips or cracks. I do not know what process was used to make this beautiful piece– see photo. I wonder if it could be‘Slag glass’ because of the yellow coloring ... moreand the strange bottom coloring. Fabulous Antique Figural Birds Lamp Base For Slag Leaded Glass Shades Bronze Ish
Up for sale is this fabulous antique lamp base. Featuring a pair of long necked birds(I believe cranes? on either side. Wonderful detail work, the lamp has a bronze finish, I don't think it is solid bronze, but it is quite heavy and does not attract a magnet. I believe the top hardware is replaced, but both pulls are working smoothly. You will need hardware to attach a shade. There are no cracks, or breaks. You can see the mold line running through the feathers toward the bottom, and there is some finish wear, including a spot that looks like a paint drip. This a fabulous and extremely rare form, unfortunately it is not signed to identify a maker, but it was definitely done in the era of Tiffany, Handel, Pittsburgh and the other fine makers of that time. This is a beautiful pair of vintage mid-century 8 panel slag lead glass hanging lamp shades. Model# 8851. It has"L&L WMC 1967" imprinted on the inside of the shades.They measure approximately 18 inches across from tip to tip. Both are in very good condition. VINTAGE - Pair of Stained Glass Sconce Shades -Slag Style Glass - Candle, Lamp
VINTAGE- Pair of Stained Glass Sconce Shades-Slag Style Glass- In good used shape. The glass is really pretty. There is one small chip in one pain of glass and one small crack about 3/4" in another pain(you can see in picture) No other cracks or breaks. Glass is all in good shape. The glass is not thin and cheap. It feels fairly heavy. IT IS FRAGILE. The frame work is a leaded type frame. Not sure exactly what it is made of but it does bend/move easily when pressure is applied. It has some flexibility, it's not going to fall apart, but it is a leaded type frame and needs to be handled carefully. Needs to be in a nice display spot that does not get much traffic or chance of being bumped and handled. These came off of vintage iron wall sconces that held a large candle each. Set Of 4 Matching Slag Glass Shades 1 Large & 3 Smaller Ones Of The Same Size
Up for bid is a set of 4 slag glass shades 3 are matching and one is larger for the center light. The approximate sizes are as follows. The large shade: 6 7/8” tall. Fitter 2 7/8” and the bottom diameter 6 ½” The 3 smaller shades: 6 ¼ tall, fitter 2 ¼” and the bottom diameter 5 7/16” All the glass looks good except for one shade. Please see photo. It’s hard for me to tell if this is a crack or a manufacturing defect. The crack/defect does not go all the way through the glass. It affects 2 pieces of glass. One more than the other. The metal pieces look like brass but a magnet will attach itself. All the metal pieces are soldered together. There are some slight rust spots on the inside. They are very small and the one I tried to remove was removed easily. I gave these shades a light cleaning so there may still be additional cleaning ... morerequired. Please see the photos. Pair Of Fabulous Purple Fenton Lamps With Slag Glass Tulip Shades (MM543)
This is a set of 2 lamps. They are purple and pink. The bases are bronze with Fenton hobnail furled bottoms and slag glass tulip shades. These are really fabulous. The shades in particular seem like they are in unusually good shape with no cracks or damage. The lamps are about 24" tall and about 6" across. The two differ slightly on that one has a more tapered base. The one with the tapered base is slightly wobbly on its feet and has a crack which is in the last picture. This is not very noticeable unless you are really looking for it but needs to be mentioned. While both lamps work. ANTIQUE CAST IRON WALL SCONCE PAIR W/ SLAG GLASS SHADES - PARTS OR REPAIR !!!!!
Pair of antique cast iron wall sconces with slag glass shades that are in good condition for parts or repair. The sconces have no cracks or repairs that I can see and will only need to be media blasted. Painted and rewired. I believe the shades are repairable with a little work but there are three glass panels missing and I don't know if you can get the matching glass. I will pack these the best I can to prevent any more glass breakage, but I can't guarantee it. They stand around 16" tall together and the shades are about 10" tall alone. Thanks for looking!
