It dates from the early 1900's around 1920. It is a signed Electrolier fixture. This company made high end lighting in the 1920's and 1930's. This fixture comes with the slip shade. The glass shade is free from any chips or cracks. This lamp looks quite nice hen it is lit. The sconce has the original gold paint and it is free from any signs of rust which is nice. This slip shade sconce has the original switch on it and it is still active and working. This lamp has been tested working however it still has the old cloth wires so you may want to have them replaced. The sconce measures 6 1/2" x 10 1/2" and projects 5 1/4" from the wall( with the shade on) The slip for the shade is 4 5/8" at the top and curves in over 3 1/4" As you can see there is some white wall paint on the one corner. This could easily be cleaned off but we did not want to ruin any of the original gold paint so we will leave it up to you. Never Any Reserve! All questions will be answered promptly! Each lamp has a 7" round base with felt on the bottom and measures 29" to the top of the finial. The fabric pleated shades are 12" tall with a 15" bottom diameter and 9" top diameter. We are pleased to offer this BEAUTIFUL AND RARE pair of antique Italian or French lamps. The pair date to the very early 20th century. They feature toleware bases which are adorned with 4 toleware cameo medallions. The lamp bodies are exceptionally lovely. The lower section feature figural statues of the"Three Graces" or"Gratiae" These beautiful ladies are bisque porcelain. The trio are holding a large. Gilt and painted porcelain vase. The vase is quite ornate and detailed. The fronts and backs have delicate pink and yellow flowers and gold gilded accents on a black background. Dimensional, white drapery swags are superimposed over the black background. The swags come together in the center of the vase and are accented with a large, dimensional cameo medallion. The sides of vase are white with gold accents and are reticulated. ... moreEach side has two large handles. The handles are also accented with gold. The lamps are in good condition. They do have some minor chips to the porcelain but they do not distract from the beauty of this pair. There has been a repair to one of the hands of the women at the wrist area. Again, it is not distracting. The wiring is old and cloth but the lamps are working. This is a beautiful and old pair of lamps with incredible interest and detail. The pair are not visibly marked. They have felted bottoms. The lamps each retain their original shades. The shades are large. Victorian style. They have scalloped tops and bottoms with long fringe and tassels. They are ivory damask with tone on tone pattern. The shades are lined. The shades are quite lovely but do show some age. They do have small worn area at the frame sections. EZAN A wonderful nickel plated solid brass or bronze art deco chandelier with 3 large opalescent shades signed Ezan. This very rare model is representing pairs of nesting birds. Most opalescent cups measure about 20 cm in diameter. With a diameter of 25 cm(9-7/8" the cups on this chandelier are larger then normal. Before the second worldwar Ezan. A French glass factory from the town of Ezanville near Paris, was wellknown for its production of opalescent glasses. They show beautiful tones of blue and amber depending the angle of the light shining on the shade as we know from the best opalescent glasses like Sabino Verlys or Ezan pieces. The chandelier is in very good condition. I have renickeled the mounting. The lamp is rewired and has european E14 sockets. I will rewire it for the US with candelabra base ones. RARE Pair Industrial Holophane Glass Diffuser or Pendant Shades 2070 1930's NM
Matching pair of Holophane glass diffuser shades No. 2070. Pat. 2068246 in the 1930's. As can be seen in the second photo. These shades were meant to be used as diffuser shades, underneath an outer fabric or metal shade. However, they may also be used upside down with a hanging pendant light. These shades are hard to find. Especially in such good condition. They are near perfect. The only defects I can find are flea bites on the inside bottom rim of one shade. Each shade weighs 2 lbs 5 oz. Each measures 7" tall and 6-3/8" in diameter at the widest point. The fitter end measures 1-3/16" in diameter outer rim to outer rim. And 1-9/16" in diameter inner rim to inner rim. The maker name and numbers are embossed on the inside of each shade. Up for auction is this rare pair of square silk shades for candles or miniature oil lamps. Victorian catalogues are full of a bewildering array of silk and paper shades. All of which sit on a standard 2 inch diameter'hatbrim' carrier( see next to last picture. NOT included) Very few survive as they were thrown away when they got dirty or torn. These two are clean. PLEASE NOTE. THE FABRIC MAY NOT BE SILK, I HAVE NO WAY OF TELLING. The colours are bright and they were found wrapped in tissue paper. they are 6 inches square. With a metal wire frame with a slight rise to the centre 2 inch hole. Edges are trimmed with metal(brass? braid. Antique 26" Bronze Patinated Newel Post signed Lamp With Rare Art Glass Shades
I have seen lots of figural newel post style lamps but this one with the art glass shades is over the top. The shades are pink at the opening and fade back to clear. I put some awesome colored lights on it the darken the shade colors and makes this lap radiant. And what a great subject. The farm girl feeding the chicks. Oh my! Signed by Aristide de Ranieri. There is just the statue for sale by another ebay seller. Item number 191259301040. For more than my starting price. This piece dates from around 1890 to 1910. This piece is made of bronze patinated spelter as 95% of the newel post lamps are made. Measures 26" tall and about 21" to the top of the girls head. An excellent larger item. RARE F.A.I.P. Mid century modern table lamps original fiberglass shades
You are looking at a nice pair of mid century modern lamps made by the F.A.I.P. company. I believe the shades are original to the lamps. There are no cracks or chips. There was a little spot that was missing some paint on the cheek of one of the lamps. I had some wax that was the right color that I filled where the paint was missing(hard to tell. I did get a close up picture of this area. One of the shades has a small wrinkle at the top that I got a good close up picture of also.
