Pair Art Deco Slip Shades Batwing for Sconces Chandelier Beautiful No Reserve
Here a pair of vintage art deco or art nouveau slipper shades in very nice condition. No cracks or chips. Just some tiny"flea bites" on the mounting edges. They are 4 1/2 inches across at the widest point, which is from tab to tab. Looks like 6 3/8 inches from the start/top of one of the tabs to the bottom of the shade. Overall length is 8 1/2 inches, and it would protrude from the fixture at just under 4 inches. The glass is frosted and is very thick and substantial. If I can answer any questions, let me know. Antique Brass Glass Art Deco Lamps Sunset Lighting Gilbert Rohde? Tyndale Shades Great pair of lamps. Probably from the 30s or 40s for your consideration. Recently picked them up at an auction. The lamps were made by Mutual Sunset Light Company of Brooklyn, NY. The base has MSLC 4024 on both of them. Some question out on eBay as to whether these lamps were designed by Gilbert Rohde, anyone out there know where that open item can be confirmed or disproved? Your identity will be kept anonymous. The lamps appear to be made of brass and pressed glass. The bottoms above the brass base are also a cube of glass. A couple of chips in the cubed glass on both pieces. Nice pair of Tyndale fabric shades come with the lamps as well. Some of the gold gilt around the lamp needs to be reattached. But all there. Did not plug the lamps in to see if they work. ... moreYou can see one of the lamps has the bottom of the socket missing. There are no shade holders with this pair, piece that runs up from the socket to hold the shade in place. Some corrosion to the brass finish pieces on the lamps. this is a vintage brass dome pan art deco ceiling chandelier with 3 dangling light areas. there is also 3 matching frosted glass handpainted on the inside roses shades. it needs rewiring. the finial is cast iron. there is atiny split mark on the outer edge on the dome. very small. the dome is 16 in. wide and 4 in. tall. the light areas is 5 in. tall and 3.5 in. wide. the glass shades are 2 in. on one end and 4 in. on the other and they are 5in. tall. one of them has a hairline crack line near the edge as you can see in the picture. you can see it from the inside. there is flea bites on the shade edges from age and use. in good used condition.

The pair have very nice, slip on shades. The shades are wire frames with French waterfall styling. The waterfall shades currently house 12 crystal udrops each, but they can hold 18 udrops if you would want to add more. The lamps are petite in size but grand in design. PAIR ANTIQUE ART DECO BEADED GLASS LAMPS FROST TO CLEAR SHADES BLUE CRYSTALS
We are pleased to offer this beautiful pair of antique glass lamps. The pair dates to the Art Deco period of the 1930s to 1940s. They feature clear glass. Round bases in elongated beaded design. The bodies are also clear with a beaded accent in the center. The large bobeche has 12 pin holes. The lamps each include 6 long, blue rain drop crystals(one in every other pinhole) This way allows you to see the lamp bodies but you can certainly add more crystals if you prefer. The shades feature frosted glass with clear raised relief pattern of grapes and vines. The tops are also clear with a scalloped border. Though a matched pair, one of the shades is a little"whiter" frosted than the other. You don't notice it unless the lamps are side by side. The lamps are in very good condition with no chips, cracks, etc. The shades are very nice ... moreas well with expected wear around the fitter area. Wiring is vintage but in good condition and lamps are working. The lamps measure 14.5" tall with the shades attached and 10" without shades. The bases are 4" in diameter. 1930S-1940S ANTIQUE INDUSTRIAL STEAMPUNK FACTORY-OFFICE DESK LAMP WITH DOUBLE-ARMS& NOTE-PAD PLATFORM& ANTIQUE GLASS ART DECO DESIGNED SHADES. This lamp is circa 1930s1940s and has a thick square plug-see pic provided. the double-arm frame is nice with Industrial Machine-age Steampunk sockets marked"Leviton" and sockets holders with circles in them-the socket metal holders have the three original screws in each which are used to hold the shades in place(see close-up pics provided) This is a sort of factory office desk lamp as it has a platform for notepad. Pen, and paper-etc. to be placed on(see pics) with original green felt on it-the felt could be replaced by buyer to freshen up the platform/lamp with a nice navy blue felt pad-it would look lovely-I have left it as it is in original undisturbed condition for the integrity ... moreof the piece so you see that the felt is worn and aged and dusty but is very easy to place a new piece of felt of your choosing(see pics of this feature) The switch to the lamp is located on the front of the platform/base-it is slightly askew and turns on and off well, I have not tried to straighten it. The double-curved-arms and the sockets/holders have some tarnishing/wear/and oxidation to the surfaces and to the finish-the socket holders have some rusting-please see pics-some parts are metal and some parts may be brass-the rod and/or arms may be brass or metal I am unsure-please view pics. Lamp works well and takes standard bulbs or candelabra bulbs like the ones which I used in the lamp in pics-see pics. This is one of two that was in the hallway ceiling of an older large home. Would work on a lamp also. Find no damage has patina from being old and will need soap and water. Approx 5 1/4" tall top opening diameter approx 2 1/8" outside rim. Bottom opening inside 6 1/4" diameter. These are old you can tell the older glass making minor uneven spots from manufacture are present. The shade may be older than I am calling it late 19th early 20th century. 1920's Art Deco Mission Lamps with Mica Shades & Lion Design
Here I have a pair of fabulous original Art Deco Mission lamps with Mica shades. The Mica shades have an applied right& left Lion with sword motif. Amazing lines& style of the bases. The three sided Mica shades hang from the top of the lamp that has a leaf like design. The lamps stand aprox 20 inches tall to very top. These lamps are one hundred percent original including cloth cords. Remember they are aprox 90 years old. In good antique condition. One shade has some separation at corners from hanging over the many years. There is a bit of lift on the Lion as well. However everything is very stable. To hang shade you angle the hanging hook& then place hanging loop on base of lamp. What an amazing rare set to have on display. H.Petitot A french 1932/1935 art deco chandelier in nickel plated solid brass or bronze by the famous Paris based company of H.Petitot holding three large wonderful panels and three side-shades. The bronze maker Antonin Petitot started his company in 1878. His son Henri Petitot took over in 1917. He wasn't a retailer at first and sold his lights to lamp shops all over France. Europe and the States. In the early days of art deco they produced precious fixtures in high quality bronze with shades from the best french glass factories such as Muller freres. In the late 30's they changed their style and produced lights in a modernist look. To survive the depression their fixtures often became cheaper- partially done in pressed brass. These beautiful lamps often had opalescent shades in bluish semi-crystal by the Ezan glass company. They ... morecertainly set a trend and nowadays lots of chandeliers are offered also on ebay under the name of Petitot pieces which in reality are often pieces made by other companies such as Ranc freres Lacroix or names nowadays forgotten. The model chandelier I present was first made around 1931 and in the 5 years that followed Petitot made fixtures in several versions all holding these large panels in combination with this model side shade. Both canopy and other parts of the mounting are marked with the usual Petitot initials AP for Antonin Petitot. The three panels are signed Petitot France. They were produced by Muller freres: they also exist unsigned and are also represented in the old Muller catalogues. For the side shades Petitot chose a well known model Degué shade and ordered unsigned ones for his chandeliers. Normaly Degué sold this model with its own Degué signature but for Petitot they made a new unsigned mould. The chandelier has a drop of 88 cm(34-5/8" and a diameter of 60.5 cm(23-3/4" It is in excellent condition. The fixture has been replated and the lamp is newly wired. Ready to use. Up For Sale is 2 16" Table Lamps. The base Measures 5-1/2" They are Cast with gold gilt. The shades pieces are Mica. On the bottom of both lamps they are" M L 1693" These were purchased form a upscale Estate here in NY. They do have age wear& some nice patina with the green effect. On the upper part of the lamps, they are a crack identical on both. Not sure if this is from age or was were made this way. The one lamp looks to have had a new socket insert installed. Neat Pair of Art Deco SATURN Table Lamps. Made of some sort of metal i don't really know what kind. Maybe brass? The Have metal wire spoke design on the bottom base part and a neat planet saturn Design on top. Both come with matching Art Deco Retro Speckled shades which look to be original. The shades are an off white/ beige color made of a thick paper with white and black splatter design and black trim. Both have some patina and spotting from age and one has a tiny little dent in the bottom of the metal where the cord comes out in the back.
