Pair original Antique leaded slag glass lamps ornate base victorian Art Nouveau
This is a beautiful pair of victorian table lamps They are very ornate and are original the leaded glass/stained glass shades are in great shape with no visible breaks. the bases retain 975 of the original paint. one lamp does have a replacement cord on it the other has an older one that is not frayed and is still in usable shape. check out the pictures and you will see what fine examples these two lamps really are. the lamps stand 15 inches tall. REDUCED-RARE-ORNATE Vintage 1960s L & L WMC Table Lamp-Ewer-Signed-Art Nouveau
This auction is for a gorgeous vintage L&L WMC signed table lamp in the shape of an ornate ewer. The number stamp appears to be 8094. But it was very hard to read. Please see picture. I believe this lamp is brass, but I am not a metals expert. It does not appear to be magnetic. Very ornate. As you can see in the pictures. I'm not sure if this is supposed to be a cherub or siren design. There is a face on 4 sides, but they appear to be that of a woman& not a cherub to me. The handle appears to have a sea serpent& the face below the"spout" appears to be similar to the faces on the body, but with wings wrapped around it. I know this time period is supposed to be cherubs, but to me this looks more like sirens. I believe this is a 3-way lamp, since I put a single bulb in it and it took 2 clicks to turn it on/off. 1 of ... morethe faces has a"smashed" nose(please see picture) This lamp is dirty& will need cleaned. I wiped it off to take pictures of it. But that is all I've done. There appears to be green tarnish on the bottom column. Item was completely loose when I got it, but I did try to tighten it. I will leave any additional tightening to the new owner, since my tightening seems to have left the ewer off center from the base& loosened the socket more than it was. I found this gorgeous lamp stored in a damp basement of an odds& ends shop, so it will definitely need to be cleaned up. Please look at all pictures& ask questions before bidding. I think it must have had felt or something. 25 and 3/4" to top and just base is about 13 and 1/2" The metal is designed like a drape going down onto the glass Glass is heavy- think and perfect Some of the metal is dirty(don't know how to clean it) or worn. All I know is that it's old and gorgeous! Bulb does not go with and does not have a shade- choose your own! Cord about 6' 6" + and great shape! 10 Day Auction! Antique Art Nouveau Design Slag Glass Lamp This antique slag glass lamp is in very good condition. The beautiful slag glass is a marbled sky blue and white. Glass is free from chips. Cracks, breaks or repairs. The Octagon shaped shade consists of 8 of these slag glass panels over cast metal and brass frame. As you can see in the photos they are held securely in place by the tiny clips on the sides of each panel. As for the balance of the lamp. Some other parts are made of cast metal, such as parts of the column. I also note some more brass and also iron. Overall the cast metal frame for the shade is in very good condition. It features a sea shell and Fleur De Lis design throughout each 8 sections of the frame. I did not notice any bent parts or breaks to this metal. The balance of the lamp is also in very good condition with ... moresome areas of light rust to the very base. This base piece is made of iron. The lovely Fleur De Lis design carries out part way down the column! The lamp has been rewired. By a professional. If you will note in the one photo of the sockets. The metal above that has a very tiny hole, which is a defect in the casting itself- this is not damage. Its truly one very pretty slag glass lamp. In very good condition! Measurements- The lamp"without the shade" measured from top of finial to bottom of base measures approx. 23 and 1/2 inches. The diameter of the bottom of the"lamp base" measures approx 7 and 3/4 inches. Shade measures approx 17 inches in diameter and is approx. 9 and 1/2 inches high. The slag glass panels measure approx. 8 and 1/2 inches long by 6 and 1/8 wide inches measured at longest and widest point. By the way I measured only one of the panels in order to give you an idea of their size.

For your consideration an early 20th century green slag-glass and bronzed table lamp. Beautifully detailed base and ornate shade. In very good original condition. There are no cracks or breaks. On the shades painted surfaces there is slight wear from age. Imbedded dirt and dust, and scattered surface rust in the shade interior. It looks like the cord was changed some time ago. The lamp is basically untouched and fresh to the market. The only mark I can see is the number 471 on the inside of the shade. It has a beautifully designed pyramid shaped base with a detailed relief-cast scene of the setting sun with pelicans and fish in rippeling water. The base is made of metal and has a patinated bronzed finish. There is some wear and discoloration at the bottom of the base It has a single Weber lamp socket and pull chain. The shade is about 13-1/2 ... moreinches square. It is assembled cast iron or steel construction with a roman gold painted surface. The shade consists of 16 emerald green glass panels that appear to be original to the shade. There are no breaks or cracks. The shade is about 5 inches in height and 7" to the top of the 5 x 5 crest. The complete lamp stands about 20 inches tall with a 6-3/4 inch square base. Combined weight is 23 pounds. Will ship nicely in a 20 inch cube. SOLID BRASS, ART NOVEAU LAMP, ORNATE with 3 goat figures - Chinese?? Occult??
Offered is this solid brass lamp with original shade. The lamp accepts 2 ordinary electric bulbs of any wattage. It weighs 10 pounds and stands 22 inches tall. The base measures 5-1/2 inches in diameter. The lamp shade is lined with a leopard-print cloth. Along the top outside. Runs a"frill" of iridescent feathers that are attached to the upper rim of the shade. The cord. Sockets, and individual bulb switches work fine. Photos were taken with 2-40 watt blubs. The seventh photo shows a small piece of damaged, missing casting. Lamp could stand to have the excess brass polish cleaned up a bit. Consignee claims that this lamp has possible occult or voodoo connections due to the 3 brass goat figures surrounding the upper base. I believe that because of the stylized fish ringing the base.
