Antique Parlor Oil Kerosene Lamp Converted Electric Light Aladdin HobNail Green
The following auction is for a vintage oil/kerosene lamp that was converted to an electrical light with a switch. It is used.And original. I dont know if this is called a Fenton/Aladdin or not. I dont see any markings on the lamp anywhere,so dont think I am trying to trick you. I dont know if thats a style or a name,sorry this is the first one we have sold The light has some issues.But it does power on. The switch is for a 3 stage bright/brighter/brightest/Off Light. THE LIGHTBULB IS NOT INCLUDED. So you may have to turn the switch a few cranks,before it comes on,unless you have that kind of bulb. The glass is in decent shape with no cracks or repairs in it. There is a small chip on the edge of the lampshade. I forgot to take a pic. Its not real big,and I didnt really notice until just now when I was listing it. I felt it being a little rougher ... morethere. Its a darker green color. I think you call it hobnail or hobknob. The glass does have texture to it. The cord is in alright shape. Not all that great. I wasnt scared to plug it in or anything.But its old and wouldnt really be hard to replace,at least for the piece of mind. The light does work,the switch is a little hard to turn,but it does work. I didnt get shocked or anything like that when I was testing it. There is alot of rust/pitting on the ring that holds the shade.As well as the whole switch assembly. The spot where the oil lamp went is really pitty and rusty. The switch does work for the light,but it feels a little hard to turn. The light sits crooked. I think it has to do with the electrical outlet. When you look down on it,you can see the light is crooked. The whole ring and the entire switch mechanism is dirty and pitted/rusted up. The base appears to have been cleaned up. Its a lot shinier than the rest.It still has some pitting and tarnish spots on it.The underneath side looks terribly discolored and spotty. There is a small chipped off piece on the base. I took a pic. Not really noticeable.But its there The light stands(with shade on) about 16 inches

Antique Paris Porcelain Converted Oil Lamp 1800's/ Green
I found this at a thrift store. It is 10" tall and 4" across base. It is heavy. It weighs almost 2 1/2 lbs. It is hand painted with 2 shades of green and black. The is a spot of brown discoloration on the back see 9th photo. No chips or cracks. The base is tarnished and I haven't tried to polish it. I don't know when it was converted. It has a newer style plug and the cord is 6' long. Works. Would be a super cute bedroom lamp with a white ruffled shade. I don't know what year this was made but I would guess mid to late 1800's.

This beautiful antique"Gone With the Wind" style Victorian oil lamp has been converted to electric. The shade of green shows a little light in the pictures; it's a pastel lime green. No shade. Works great. But needs a quick repair, as the bulb socket is depressed(sinking into the body of the oil well) and needs to be pulled into position. I don't want to take it apart since I know nothing about repairing these. Handpainted multicolor floral design on both sides, bottom metal stand is impressed FC CO on one side and 617 on the other. This listing is for a beautiful. Antique Bradley& Hubbard, electrified oil lamp. It measures 16.5" to the top of the socket area and about 6.5" square across the bottom of the base. The bottom of the base is marked with the number 311. The tank knob is marked B&H, and the wick knob is marked: Pat Applied For. The lamp has a pull chain switch. We have tested it, and it does work. When the converted the lamp, they didn't damage the tank, so it can be converted back to oil. If you look at the last photo, you can see that there is a split in the ring that fits over the base of the lamp. The plug end should probably be replaced, it's old, and the cardboard piece that covers the opening is missing. Shipping is based on 14lbs, packed weight.

Presented for your consideration is this beautiful Victorian oil lamp. It features a diamond quilted font in the style of the Consolidated Lamp& Glass company. I have not identified the pattern-any help appreciated. The cased glass font is shaded green with colorful floral enamel detail. It has a Kosmos burner so perhaps European? The base is cast brass. I don't know if it is original to the lamp but looks very nice. The bottom is marked"L&L 6733" The lamp is topped with an exceptional art glass shade. It is frosted and shaded blue/green to clear with a very special"water lily" etching. The lamp measures 15" to the collar. The shade is 5" high. 7 1/4" across at the top and 2 1/2" at the fitter. The font and shade are in very good estate condition with no damage, wear or repairs noted. There ... moreis some minor oxidation on the brass-not excessive but mentioned for accuracy. The burner and fittings look good as well. I do not have a proper chimney. This lamp should be an outstanding choice for any collection and is offered without reserve. Up for bid is a Beautiful antique large double student's lamp with the dark green shades. The one shade shoews a bit darker than the other but does match. It is in excellent condition with no nicks. Chips, scratches or dents. It is electrified but retains the original oil resevoir. The lamp is adjustable up and down and also swivels 360 degrees. It measures 21" high by a full 27" wide and the base is 7" diameter and the tank is 4" in diameter and 10" high. This is the more rare Large light, not the 19" wide one. Offered is this wonderful little white milk-glass oil lamp or kerosene lamp with matching round glass globe/ball shade. Measures just 7" inches high total. With a 2-1/2" diameter base. Includes original brass burner. The bottom is very slightly concave. I find no maker marks on it anywhere. Including the small brass parts. The lamp is definitely antique, and appears to be complete. There are four different green scenes on it- a windmill. Sail ship, barn, and what looks to be a farm house, resembling Currier& Ives scenes. In very good condition with a couple of small flaws- one being a few tiny flea bites on the top rim of the globe. And some tarnish to the brass fittings, which should clean up. No wick. Peeking down inside I can ... moresee some old oil residue on the inside bottom, but nothing out of the ordinary( The top and bottom green colors differ very slightly. Apparently at some point. Someone attempted to repair t he threaded brass collar/ring with some glue. I didn't try to unscrew it. The brass flanged trimm seems added later(going by the bright-white plaster) likely to allow use with an electric gallery with set screws. A stunning and beautiful 19th century Antique Victorian Parlor Oil Lamp with Green Cased Glass shade. The lamp is original oil. The impressive base features applied bow and wreath decorations. The base and spill ring are solid brass with lovely detail filigree. The lamp sits very firmly and solidy. The lamp appears to be a Bradley& Hubbard. Though I am not certain. The base is in wonderful condition. The rich forest evergreen cased glass shade is in nice condition. One tiny flea bite. Less than a 1/16” at the top. and a few areas of paint along the bottom, which is not visible when it is sitting on the tripod mount. The font tank has a couple small indents and some creases. Consistent with age. The interior of the tank appears to have been coated with tank sealer. Green Queen of Hearts Sweetheart pattern Antique Finger Oil Lamp Circa 1900 Very nice circa 1900 heart pattern finger lamp. It's guaranteed early and not a reproduction. It's very close to being perfect. But under close inspection you can see an extremely shallow pinhead size nick on the flat top and a faint and shallow 1/4" refraction coming off the top at the point where the seam of the handle meets the body. It's just under the surface and has no more than 1/16" depth. It really is hard to see and I almost missed it. The lines that you can see in the photos are all lines of color that you typically get with these. This one happens to have a lot of them and only makes it a bit more interesting. Antique Brass Oil Style Lamp Emerald Green Shade Key Type Switch
Listing is for an antique brass lamp with a beautiful emerald color lamp shade. Lamp is in overall great condition. It works as it should and fits any standard size bulb. There is a very very very slight bend to the ring that holds the shade. It creates a gap of les than 3/16 inch. See pictures. I am sure it's a very simple fix I will leave it to its eventual owner. I believe the shade is porcelain over metal. Not completely sure but It is not glass. The interior"chimney" is however. Overall a very solid piece. The on/off switch is the key style. Thanks

Shaded green glass shade with a stunning Art Nouveau repeat pattern design to the main body. The deep multi fluted rim is further enhanced with a moulded bubble border following in a horseshoe shape around each set of flutes. It stands 17cm high with a diameter at the top of 22cm at its widest point. The apperture of the base is 10.1cm. A 4" fitter. Condition overall is excellent and the shade is free from any hairlines. A few bubbles in the glass commensurate with the age of the glass and manufacture. Some tiny fleabites to the base fitter rim commensurate with age and use and a few tiny marks to the etched area of the glass. This is a very early 1890's Glass Oil Lamp that was recently found in an estate in Pa. The lamp has features of the early Emeralite type'deep green' kind of ornate glass. The lamp measures 16" tall and has a ring that would hold a 10" shade. I bought this lamp at a Victorian estate along with many other original oil lamps. The lamp stands 27 1/2" tall from bottom to top of chimney. There is some age discoloration to the metal and roughness along the edge of the fitter of the shade. There are no cracks or crazing apparent. The lamp is a dark green with a deeper floral design on both the globe and the bottom. I tried to picture the best I could but do to the darkness of the floral design it was quite difficult to show presence of the beauty of the design. Lamp will be shipped double boxed for added protection and package will be charged insurance. Antique Green/Pink Hand Painted Peony GWTW Table Hurricane Banquet Oil Kero Lamp
This is a beautifully hand painted floral gone with the wind lamp with peonies on both front and back of top and bottom globes. The top globe has been repaired where it was broken near the top of the front. There is a close-up showing the repair; the seams are not terribly obvious but still slightly visible. And there is a tiny sliver of glass missing. The flowers and the fact that the repair is close to the top make it less obvious. It still looks fantastic and still has the original font, fill cap, and wick knob, but it has been electrified, so the center of the burner has been replaced with a light socket. It looks like the electrification occurred long ago and the socket and cord look like they are probably from the 40's and should probably be inspected before use. The socket is a standard size with a switch(underneath the top globe) ... moreThere is a gold metal ring under the bottom globe with a few cracks in it, probably from over tightening the pieces together. It is not loose or broken all the way through. The remainder of the lamp, including the bottom globe does not have any visible damage aside from minor light wear. All paint on the glass pieces is intact and skillfully done. The gold finish on the metal pieces has some wear and has a darkened patina from age. The bottom of the base is marked with a number 5. The lamp measures 21 1/2" H x about 8" W. It will be partially disassembled. Wrapped very well, double boxed, and insured during shipping.

19th Century Antique Early American Antique New England BOSTON& SANDWICH COMPANY. Sandwich-Massachusetts OVERLAY CUT PRISM EMERALD GREEN BERRY& LEAF FLUID OIL LAMP. Lamp has been partially electrified and has an interior rod, washer& nut, and metal collar at top for such purposes-please read below for extended condition. The lamp is an antique New England Boston& Sandwich Company fluid oil lamp from the mid-19th century period and is one of their lovely glass overlay& cut concave prism designs(see pics) The lamp is an overlay of white glass& a concave cut prism design of emerald green glass berries& leaves which is very pretty and charming(see pics) Base of lamp is a scalloped white glass. Condition of lamp is very good with electrifying additions to lamp and imperfections cited as follows: the white glass oil ... morefont has several small flea bites/abrasions and/or inclusions which may or may not have been accomplished during the manufacture-please realize these tiny imperfections and please see an example included and presented in one of the close-up pics provided. The white glass scalloped base is attached well to the font with a metal collar(see pics) The oil font is in very good period condition with no cracks or large chips(with the exception of the surface flea bites& abrasions previously cited) and with the exception of a small chip along the top of the lamp under the metal band where the band is fit over the the top edge of lamp for the electrifying purposes. Lamp base has one tiny thin crack at neck of base-there is a pic of the base where the small thin crack is visible please see pic provided for your inspection-it is very small and would be the only imperfection that I see on base. It also has expected inclusions and manufacturing surface striations made during manufacturing. It comes in 2 pieces and is connected at the center. There is a removable plastic piece that helps connect the top and bottom. I dont know if this is original to the lamp or it was something that was added at a later time. The inside is hollow from the top piece all the way to the bottom piece. Missing a top burner.if it ever had one. See photos of the top. Excellent condition- no chips or cracks. Great looking item. wish i knew more about it. I have been told this could be an old Victorian oil lamp. Pineapple base design. There are no electrical wires. One claw foot is missing(see photo) But it still stands. Very pretty. Very heavy.
