A black diamond point decorated metal pedestal and a cast iron base. This has a Queen Anne Burner in very good working condition. The clear glass chimney has beading around the top and is also antique showing lots of swirls in the glass. As expected of antique glass, the font and the chimney do glow yellow when under a blacklight. The lamp is good and heavy. Overall weight is 3-lbs. In excellent condition. No chips or cracks to the glass. The brass is clean but not polished, and there is a little wear to the brass around the wide cap at top of the font. This glass oil lamp funnel is a beautiful and rare deep cranberry colour. The glass is not coated or flashed. It is a solid cranberry colour throughout) It measures approx 29.9 cm(11 3/4 inches) long. The widest end measures just over 6.3 cm(2 1/2 inches) in diameter. External measurement. In excellent condition for its age. There are a couple of tiny pin head nicks on the edge of the chimney where it would sit in the holder. It consists on a brass pillar base(not Corinthian as there are no scrolls or decoration to top) marked to the base"J Hinks& Son" and"1781" The base is made with a thick gauge brass as can be seen in the pictures below. The best English cut glass font(hinks ref 192) is made with thick walls measuring nearly 1cm in thickness. The Hinks number 2 burner has a wheeled gallery raiser to allow easy lighting. Up for auction is this attractive Kosmos oil burner complete with wick. Original etched marked glass chimney, shade holder and'moorish' beaded and jewelled brass paris shade. The Burner is marked Paris with a trademark of flaming torches. Very like the Wild 7 wessel mark. It is the 12 line size burner, the smallest size that fits in a standard Screw duplex( 39mm or 1&1/2 inch) diameter burner collar. burner has a(new. Unused) functioning wick, winds up and down ok, despite having a slightly raggy edge, Correct sized chimney marked crystal lorraine. There is a brass support that fits under the burner and supports the brass domed shade. Brass domed shade has 3 faceted glass'jewels' and a fringe of beads. Some glass and some wooden. there are some missing strings of small beads and other odd bead losses. The Chimney, not an antique, is White and Clear glass, has some wear marks around the bottom and works well with the Base. The color is a rootbeer amber with a trace of an amethyst- cranberry color. That's the best I can describe it. Nice Complete Antique Black Iron Bracket Oil Kerosene Lamp, Chimney, Reflector
This is a complete antique bracket lamp that includes the wall bracket(without screws) The swing arm with lamp holder, mercury glass reflector, lamp, and chimney. Everything is in good, useable condition. The reflector has some rust colored staining in the middle of the front surface, as shown in the photos, but it is still smooth, shiny, very reflective, and undamaged in any other way. The round knob on the lamp that adjusts the wick is missing, but the stem the knob was attached to is still there, so the wick can still be adjusted. The glass lamp and chimney are free of chips and cracks. The cast iron arm is stamped Made in USA. The lamp measures 6" W x 14 1/4" H including the chimney, the arm measures 11" L x 8 1/2" H, and the reflector is 8" in diameter. It will be packed very well and double boxed during shipping.

Antique c.1880's P& A Mfg. Co. Colonial Brass Oil Lamp with Milk glass shade and newly added clear glass chimney is in very good condition for its age with heavy patina and minor scratches on the brass base and some staining of the circumference of the lower solder joint where the base attaches to the reservoir. The Milk Glass shade has no seam and is rough ground and uneven on the top edge with minor scuffing along the bottom two inches of the shades diameter. The chimney is clear glass and newly added. The base stands at 11-1/2" inches tall with a 6-1/2" inch diameter base and a cast iron ring with four feet at the bottom underside. The shade stands at 6" inches tall with a 10" diameter bottom base. Total lamp height is 18" inches with a nice hourglass shape. The wick is round and moves freely as does the ... morereservoir oil fill cap. I have not filled the oil reservoir. For safe shipping purposes, nor have I tested this lamp. The oil reservoir shows no signs of any leakage, holes or deterioration and appears to be in very good aesthetic and functional condition.
