Antique OC White Era Telescoping Industrial Lamp Micron Machine Corp New York NY
Here we have an antique industrial lamp from the Machine Age. This lamp is both articulating and telescoping. This lamp has an interesting mount that is designed to mount that is concave and meant to a pipe. PLEASE NOTE THAT THE LARGE CAST IRON BASE THAT THIS LAMP IS ON IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE SALE. I only used that as a way to attach the lamp to show you how it can be mounted and articulated. I would recommend just getting a small section of pipe and 2 wall mountable elbow joints at any hardware store and screwing them into the wall to mount this lamp to it. While this lamp can be mounted and used as shown in photo 1 it is not designed to lock into place as such and is designed to be used as shown in photos 8 and 9. The swivel on the mounting is not a locking in place swivel so it is best to mount the lamp as shown in photos 8. 9 and 10. ... moreWhen measure fully extended the telescoping arm measure about 27 inches long not including the elbow joints. When compacted it is about 15 1/2 inches long. When the Telescoping arm is compacted the cord is about 9ft 9inches long from the butt of the lamp. I rewired this lamp with black cotton twist cloth cord and it works great. The locking of the lamp to a pipe is done with your average 3/16ths allen wrench. Vintage Antique Industrial OC White Wall Lamp Machine Age Mirrored Light Shade
For your consideration is a great looking OC White wall lamp with an antique mirrored reflector. The OC White parts all bear the signature markings. As shown throughout the photos. The lamp has a piece of reclaimed antique barn flooring as a base. The wormy chestnut base measures 3 3/4" x 8" and still retains some of the original saw marks. The lamp with its 24" arm will adjust to a total length of over 40" including the shade. The reflecting shade is 11" in diameter and retains much of the original green paint. The mirrors are intact with not breaks but does have silvering loss. The antique brass paddle switch socket accepts a standard bulb(bulb not included) The 12' long cord is a new 18 gauge cloth covered wire with an old two prong plug. Vintage OC White era lamp industrial articulated
This fantasic old lamp was purchased from the estate of a machinist. It is in good working order. I haven't cleaned it or done anything ecept install a new bulb and plug it in. The base measures about 10 1/2" across. The horizontal arm measures about 20" to ther point where the swivel joint is. From the swivel to the end of the cage is about 8" This would look great with an old Edison style carbon filament bulb installed. Thanks for looking.

Fantastic OC White Faries era brass table lamp articulated industrial era
This wonderful old lamp came from a Belmont MA estate. It stands about 23 1/2" tall. The base is about 5" in diameter. The glass shade is about 8" in diameter. The horizontal arm is about 12" long. One of the thumb screws looks to be a replacement. The plug looks original. But the cord is newer. The socket is a Hubell and looks original as does the fitter ring. The petticoat shade is also correct for the period. No chips or cracks. The bulb is an original Edison Mazda from an estate lot I purchased a while back. It has the cool squirrel cage filament. Overall fine condition with some wear and a great old surface. This would polish up beautifully, but I like it original. Thanks for looking.
