The shade is made of a cast metal with a bronze finish and fitted with six amber(caramel) slag glass panels. The base has a pull chain double socket and is also made of cast metal. There is some age appropriate surface wear to both parts of the lamp such a patina and finish loss. Also there is a crack in the shade's metal frame(see pic 7) and some light scratches on some of the glass panels but none that are apparent(most of these are just deep striations in the glass made during production) Otherwise the lamp is wonderful condition and is in perfect working order as well. The shade measures 16 1/4" W x 8 1/4" H. The lamp base measures 20 1/4" H(with& without shade) x 7 1/8" W and is marked on the bottom: E M& Co 1159. Good Luck& Happy Bidding! I am not sure how to describe it, but think it might be reverse painted in shades of gold and cream; it is embellished with three dimensional roses, leaves and vines(not sure if this is considered spelter technique? Above the glass is a handsome grape and grape leaf design. Looks great when high lighted against the caramel glass in a dim room. I have taken a number of pics in dim light to show this off. The base is solid and heavy to support the large shade. Although unmarked it is probably a Pittsburgh lamp. I have had all new wiring installed so this lamp is go to be used right out of the box but as always use caution and inspect after shipment before use. Large Figural Silver French Art Nouveau Victorian Newel Table Lamp Jewel Shades
Offered for your consideration is a fine silvered metal newel or table lamp formed by an art nouveau lady in a dramatic pose atop a graduated black marble plinth. I suspect that the base metal is spelter. Due to the weight, but perhaps it's pewter. The lamp is about 40" high by 18" wide and has three attached hammered silver shades with crimson red jeweled medallions at the tops and beautiful beaded fringe around the lower rims composed of a mixture of clear and red beads. The shades are suspended from typically Jugendstil whiplash floral sprays. The piece is in remarkably good condition; I see no evidence of cracks or repairs. The beaded fringe on the shades is completely intact, with no missing strands I can see. The silver plating is still very presentable, although of course there are some signs of wear, likely the result ... moreof a century of cleaning& polishing by previous owners. I have not polished the lamp in the years I've owned it, as I liked the patina. The pictures make the lamp appear slightly more golden than it looks in person. That is probably because the reflective surface is picking up the color from the wallpaper and carpeting in the rooms where I took the pictures. The wiring was updated/replaced at some point and is fine, as-is. I have been using it without fear or problems. If you are the winning bidder. I want you to be thrilled with the purchase. Returns, however, will not be accepted, due to the high costs(and risk of damage) incurred when shipping fragile valuable items back and forth. The lamp is quite heavy and I'm not sure how much it will cost to ship. Once it's been carefully packed for shipment. This beautiful Le Verre Francais lamp designed by Charles Schneider has been in my family since the 1920's. We would always ask my Grandmother to turn it on when we went to visit my Grandparents. This satiny glass lamp in beautiful shades of yellows. Oranges and reds looks like a gorgeous sunrise/sunset when illuiminated. The base alone can be lit or the combination of the base and shade together may be on. Both the base and shade are signed Le Verre Francais followed by the Lorraine Cross. The plug and switch are original while the frayed silk cord looks newer. The shade has a small factory wheel cut near the top-1/2" x 1/16" wide x 1/32" deep- that doesn't show when on or off but can be felt. It does not detract from the beauty of this stunning lamp. Magnificent antique victorian/ art nouveau table lamp c.1920s* This is a gorgeous antique lamp which stands 18 inches high and is 8 inches wide at the base. The materials include brass and other metals I'm not sure of. A magnet doesn't stick to most of it including the foot so its not iron-It is heavy though. There is a gold finish on the lamp. The lamp has been rewired and has a brass pull chain socket with a fancy triple cut crystal pull at the end of the chain. The base has a beautiful acanthus leaf design. Antique L & F Moreau, Cast Spelter "Harvesters" Table Lamp Set-Art Nouveau
A great pair of L& F Moreau spelter and polychrome enamel table lamps. Beautifully sculpted in the art nouveau style. These two are the most beautiful/handsome"Harvesters" you will ever see and they are in pretty nice condition. He' has almost all of his enamel decoration(one small touch up on copper tube) but has been rewired, where'She' is missing quite a bit of the enameling but has what appears to be original wiring. There are shades with these, but with a little hunting, a nice set can be found. They measure about 7 1/4"W at the base x 14 3/4"T to the top of the figures x 33"T to top of the finials. Awesome antique victorian-art nouveau era table lamp early 20th c. This beautiful antique lamp stands 16 inches high and is 6 inches wide at the base. The fancy pierced shade ring is decorated with 30 strands of crystal lustres. These crystals have had new brass bow tie pins added to them. The socket is a brass pull chain with a fancy double cut crystal pull on the end. The lamp has been rewired. On the fancy floral solid brass final is a small area of pitting that doesn't effect function- see pix of this area. The finish on the lamp is bronze and gold. I used a short round standard watt light bulb in this lamp which doesn't extend down beyond where the crystals end. These decorator bulbs can be found in any home center or home depot. Early 20th Century 6 Panels One Panel is Cracked top/bottom. Condition& Description: This offering is for an early 20th century table lamp made and signed by the miller lamp company. This lamp is in preowned condition and does show slight signs of age but over all it is in beautiful condition with the exception of one panel being cracked from the top to bottom. The crack took me a while to see but it is present yet the slag glass is holding inside the metal casting perfectly fine. The ... morerest of the lamp is in spectacular condition with not other flaws and a beautiful light patina showing through parts of the metal. Lamp is signed on the underside of the base. Base is heavy cast iron with a brass stem and cast iron metal holding the slag glass panels. Overlay metal work on the shade has a nice hammered aged look to it with some dust present and light surface scratches yet I think that is from production and not actu al scratches. The base is etched with a very nice leaf/floral design cut deep in to the cast iron. Also included with the lamp is an old 8 foot extension cord that match's the lamp's cord. Winner gets a gorgeous. Original Art Deco or Art Nouveau metal lamp with a kneeling woman and amber crackle glass globe. I think the metal is just spelter with a bronze finish. Although not 100% sure of the composition, I'm just making an educated guess. The lamp itself has a great patina consistent with it's age. There is no damage at all to the base or the globe. There are no chips or cracks on the base. The globe is also chip and crack free. The only thing I will mention is the fixture that the globe sits on is a little loose. Antique Pair French Style Metal Figural Art Nouveau Table Lams Man & Woman
This is a antique pair french style metal figural table lamps. These lamps have a wonderful design. Detail, and look. The lamp with the man standing on top of a world globe and he is in robe like clothing with a red bird in his hand. The entire lamp from base to top of the finial stands approx 36" The lamp with the woman also stands approx 36" tall. She is standing on a ship like steering wheel with waves coming along side the wheel. She is also in robe like clothing and has a bird in her hand. I have looked the lamps over and I do not see any breakage. There is as you see in the pictures paints loss over the figural bodies of these great lamps. They are still wonderful in the condition that they are in or you could have them refinished. Like with all antique lighting they will need to be rewired. Magnificent antique victorian-art nouveau cherub table lamp 1920s* This is a gorgeous antique table lamp which stands 16 inches high and is 6 inches wide at the base. The lamp is made of brass and other metals. The gorgeous art nouveau finial is solid brass. The lamp has been rewired and has a brass pull chain socket with a very fancy triple cut crystal pull on the end of the chain. The pretty pierced metal shade ring is decorated with 30 strands of crystal lustres with new brass bow tie pins. The finish on the lamp is gold with coppery accents. A Supurbly crafted and wonderfully designed Quoizel Lamp by Salamander Galss Stuio and Todd Phillips. This was purchased at the grand reopening of a local thrift store in the area a couple of years ago and I would guess that it was possibly donated by a local furniture company or possibly the original owner who never used it. No reserve past opening bid for this gorgeous high quality guaranteed antique(circa 1915) leaded glass table lamp. Numbered"9" under base but otherwise mark appears illegible, see photo. Lamp has 16" diameter shade and stands 22" high, looks nice on or off, see pictures. Beautiful leaded art glass shade features graduating size light caramel colored segments over a band of darker caramel rectangles, with an apron consisting of 2 rows of colorful turquoise and blended color segments separated by light caramel segments and connected by alternating jewel-like green and red tapered oval pieces. Glass is all original. No replaced pieces. The leading has a gold tone finish, some minor wear. Metal base has color, shape and design that compliments the shade nicely. This is a gorgeous vintage 20s cast iron lamp. I was sure that this lamp was Pairpoint but I can't find a mark on it. The lamp is heavy cast iron with a bronze finish. It has great art nouveau style. It has painted green, red and yellow highlights on the base. The lamp measures 23" tall and the base is 8-1/2" wide. The lamp is in excellent working condition. It has been rewired and it has a new top cap. On close inspection it shows normal patina and there may be a few vintage scuffs but nothing outstanding. This lovely pair of porcelain antique dresser lamps were made in Germany apparently by Giesshubel near the turn of the century. Both lamps have faint markings and I can barely see that one lamp is marked with number 15508? or. 15808? also, Germany and a letter G with vertical arrows. Most likely dated from the late 1800's to the 1920's. The mark seems to be the older one but I am not an expert. This dresser Lamp Pair is in very good condition and, surprisingly, the lamps turned on immediately with their old spooky antique electrical cord. Rewiring is highly recommended) Dresser lamps were created to adorn each side of a lady's dresser or dressing table. They are wired together to serve this intended purpose. Also interesting, are the Art Nouveau ladies with their draping and flowing clothing. You can see from the photos that a ... moredifferent picture of ladies adorns each side of the lamp. Antique Polychrome Arts & Crafts Nouveau Table Lamp w/ Caramel Slag Glass Shade
This is a gorgeous antique polychrome arts and crafts style lamp with art nouveau inspired tendrilous floral pattern around the bottom of the shade and 8 boldly marbled caramel slag glass panels. The lamp base seems to be spelter with elegant floral and leaf patterns and a bronze colored finish with gold accents. There is a matching cap and large floral finial on top. The light cluster has are two working pull chain sockets. Both of which are newer replacements, and there is new wiring throughout. The overall condition is very good. There is some scuffing and worn spots on the polychrome finish and there are a few areas that were touched up. But they are not obvious. All of the glass panels are complete with no cracks or large chips, but there are a few small chips on the edge of one panel close to the clasp that holds it in place, but they ... moreare not visible from the outside. Nothing is broken or missing, and the lamp in its entirety is sturdy, straight, and solid. The finish, fit, and materials used on the shade and lamp match, so I believe they are an original pair. There are no markings that I can see. The lamp stands 22" high and the shade measures 17" in diameter. It will be wrapped very well. Double boxed, and insured during shipping. Some reassembly may be required.
