It was purchased at an estate sale. So not certain as to exact age(plug suggests 1950s-60s) but it is in excellent vintage condition meaning it is old, has been used and shows little wear with a little dulling of the chrome on a couple of the light bases, but no chips, cracks, dents and nothing broken or missing. The auction includes the five colored light bulbs pictured but cannot guarantee they will work after they have been shipped due to their age. This fabulous chrome lamp features five lights arranged in a spiral and a twist on-off switch about mid-way up. DESCRIPTION: Nice medium sized vintage crystal prism and chrome chandelier. Has Art Deco styling but also could be from the 1960's or 1970's. There are four lower"rings" with 2 or 3 prisms hanging from each space. Then graduates to"hooked" spires with 2 or 3 prisms. Center top section has draped prism strings and top has curved spires with prisms. I counted approx 410 total prisms with 5-8 missing. There is some damage(see condition below)rewired and repaired this would look spectacular.and it's size is suitable for a dining room or hallway. CONDITION: One of the top curved spires broke off and is missing. Two of the center curved spires are broken but present. Condition: The lamp is in good condition. It does have a few scratches to the metal screen together with a few small dents. The chrome cylinder has a bit of oxidation. For sale is this absolutely clean and in nearly perfect condition. Beautiful VINTAGE DANISH MODERN SOLID TEAK TABLE LAMP with POLISHED CHROME CENTRAL STEM and ORIGINAL COTTON RAG-PAPER TAPERED SHADE. The lamp measures 14 3/4" in overall height and is 7 3/4" in height to the bottom of the electrical assembly on top of the polished chrome central stem. The original cotton rag-paper tapered shade measures 10 1/2" in width x 6 3/4" in height. This vintage solid teak Danish Modern table lamp is 100% original and is in nearly perfect condition! The teak body is without nicks. Pushes or abrasions. The teak base is solid wood and is comprised of three separate pieces of wood, joined together with glue during production. There's almost no opening at the seams of the teak base, as is often found on solid teak table lamps of ... morethis type. The central chrome stem, leading to the electrical assembly is nicely polished and in nearly perfect condition. And what is the kicker and quite unusual, is that the original 100% cotton rag-paper lampshade is also in nearly perfect condition! Just a great ensemble that's complete and all original.
