UNUSUAL AND BEAUTIFUL ANTIQUE VICTORIAN DUPLEX OIL LAMP c1890 WITH GORGEOUS GRADUATED TURQUOISE‘MILK GLASS’ FONT. I’m selling a collectable and beautifully-coloured English oil lamp from around 1890-and in full working order. It makes a wonderful centrepiece and. Like all oil lamps, it gives a beautiful soft light that adds atmosphere to any room. This is a really striking and attractive lamp in fantastic condition with a very unusual coloured font that graduates from deep turquoise to milky white. The font has no chips or cracks and is decoratively moulded in a basketwork design. The elegant upright stand is spelter. I think, with the look of bronze, and the base is shiny black ceramic. There’s no maker’s mark on the base. But the screw fitting burner with twin thumbwheels is marked‘Duplex’ English Made’ The glass chimney. Also undamaged, ... moreis marked‘Griffin brand Fireproof, foreign’ Dimensions: 58cm high.17.5 diameter of base Condition: Absolutely original and undamaged. Lightly cleaned but with all its antique patina. There is a shallow chip on the ceramic base at the very bottom edge where it stands on the table. It is all but invisible unless you look for it. It has been in the same family for three generations and has been well looked after. This is a really strikingly attractive item. Oil stand lamp. Bloxam" translucent milk glass, 2 burner Plume& Attwood"Banner, and a milk glass petticoat shade, c1880s. For pattern, reference Thuro's book 2"Oil Lamps II" pub. 1983/90, p 101 fig g for a flat hand lamp, and p. 104 fig g for a stand lamp. Not sure who made this lamp. Have seen it in clear, and the minature versions with nbr. 1 burners or smaller burners. This is the only milk glass one I've seen, so I know it is hard to find. The lamp is about 9.125" to the collar, and 19.5" with the chimney and burner. I added the petticoat shade later based on a comment from my wife. The petticoat shade is about 2.56" tall and 8.75" wide. All of the glass is in excellent condition. When I purchased it many years ago, the collar was loose, so I re-plastered it later. Up for auction is this Unique Antique Painted Milk-glass Glass Kerosene Oil Lamp for a Hanging Library Lamp This vintage antique oil lamp comes complete with a#2 burner.Queen Anna delicate plain empire style chimney. The lamp is in very good condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. The lamp has a plaster applied collar where the burner screws onto the lamp. This lamp would date to before 1900. And is in very good original condition. This pretty kerosene oil lamp measures 13 1/4" to the top of the chimney, and 4 1/2" tall to the brass collar. American Brass KLEEMAN 1870 Student Desk Oil Lamp/Milk Glass Shade-Converted
Up for consideration is this antique C.A. Kleeman& C.F.A. Hinrichs New York kerosene brass student desk lamp. This lamp has been electrified over the years and appears to have been done in a way that could easily be converted back to original without issue. However, I am not certain. It is in overall very good/strong antique condition and I believe will restore nicely. I believe that the milk glass shade is original however I cannot verify if correct or original. The shade does have some small rim nicks here and there from use where it sits on the shade ring. I do not have the chimney that would have also been with this lamp. I see no dents in the brass. The fuel tank appears original and without issue and has the pin on the bottom. This piece does move if you push the pin up and down, not sure if this is correct or if you pull the pin ... moredown to secure? Height adjustment knob turns( a little hard) but does work and lamp slides up an down. Shade ring or arm(not sure which) appears slightly tilted so I put a level on the ring to show you. I do not want to try to adjust or bend at all, I will leave that decision to the new owner. As you can see the brass needs to be cleaned, bottom of lamp is covered in green felt. Offered is this wonderful little white milk-glass oil lamp or kerosene lamp with matching round glass globe/ball shade. Measures just 7" inches high total. With a 2-1/2" diameter base. Includes original brass burner. The bottom is very slightly concave. I find no maker marks on it anywhere. Including the small brass parts. The lamp is definitely antique, and appears to be complete. There are four different green scenes on it- a windmill. Sail ship, barn, and what looks to be a farm house, resembling Currier& Ives scenes. In very good condition with a couple of small flaws- one being a few tiny flea bites on the top rim of the globe. And some tarnish to the brass fittings, which should clean up. No wick. Peeking down inside I can ... moresee some old oil residue on the inside bottom, but nothing out of the ordinary( The top and bottom green colors differ very slightly. Apparently at some point. Antique Vtg Pink Red Roses GWTW Boudior Parlor Milk Glass Oil Style Table Lamp
Hello and Welcome- This is a gorgeous GWTW Lamp. Standing approx. 26" high w/ 9 1/2" round ball shade. The 10 crystals can be purchased for an extra $20.00, otherwise they are for demonstration only. The lamp is in wonderful working order, with a tiny chip in the top of the shade in the back so it is actually hardly noticeable. The hurricane shade is a little crooked for some reason, so I just put a little twist tie or folded paper in the rim to keep it up right. It is a 3 way lamp, both top and bottom light up together or each one independently. The top lamp takes a standard white bulb, and is as bright as you want it to be. The bottom part of the lamp uses a little Christmas style light bulb, I used a red one to make the lamp a more"pink-er" or red hue. Antique c.1880's P& A Mfg. Co. Colonial Brass Oil Lamp with Milk glass shade and newly added clear glass chimney is in very good condition for its age with heavy patina and minor scratches on the brass base and some staining of the circumference of the lower solder joint where the base attaches to the reservoir. The Milk Glass shade has no seam and is rough ground and uneven on the top edge with minor scuffing along the bottom two inches of the shades diameter. The chimney is clear glass and newly added. The base stands at 11-1/2" inches tall with a 6-1/2" inch diameter base and a cast iron ring with four feet at the bottom underside. The shade stands at 6" inches tall with a 10" diameter bottom base. Total lamp height is 18" inches with a nice hourglass shape. The wick is round and moves freely as does the ... morereservoir oil fill cap. I have not filled the oil reservoir. For safe shipping purposes, nor have I tested this lamp. The oil reservoir shows no signs of any leakage, holes or deterioration and appears to be in very good aesthetic and functional condition. Up for sale is a beautiful antique oil lamp that was converted to electricity. It has a very ornamental. Very decorative look to it, and also is a nice piece of functional art. It will make a wonderful show piece for any room. It is in working farm fresh condition, has some wear and tear, but is in over all fair condition. Could use a thorough cleaning, but all in all is in good shape. There are minor stress fractures, but the piece is very solid, and they appear to be cosmetic only, I believe due to age and also material and method of manufacture, these are very common on old pieces like this. The chimney and hobnail milk glass shade are not original, but pieces I had that fit it and looked nice together. Offered for auction is this circa mid to late 1800's Blue Milk Glass converted oil lamp with replacement shade and chimney on a nice reticulated brass base. The pattern name of the font eludes me but can be found in any quality book on blue milk glass. Nice fluted top and cross hatched pattern shade compliments the color of the BMG. Frosted chimney stops the glare from a clear glass chimney. 21" to top of chimney. A lovely lady informed me that this lamp was made by Dithridge Co. and the pattern is Sunset.

Beautiful 19th C. oil lamp, pink milk glass font, marble column base no vaseline
19th C. oil lamp. The brass-mounted turned marble column base supporting a glass font with vertical stripes of milk glass, graduating from white at the base to pink at the top. The stripes have a vey"vaseliney" look to them, but I have tested this with a black-light and it does not fluoresce like true vaseline glass. Total height to the top of the burner is 14 1/2" 37cm) the diametre of the font is 4 3/4" 11.5cm) and the brass burner is just over 2" 5cm) across at the widest point, to take a 2" fitter shade. The brass parts are lightly tarnished(easily buffed up if so desired) and there is a small split on one side of the brass collar at the top of the marble column(photo No.8) otherwise in very good condition, with everything working as it should. Up for auction. From my own collection, a antique victorian milk glass hurricane table oil lamp that has been converted to electric. The lamp was converted some time ago as the cord and plug are vintage with some wear but still works. The lamp could easily be converted back to an oil lamp if desired. The lamp is stunning milk glass, embossed design with gold accents and a brass and cast iron base. There is also a brass section in the center of the lamp. There are no chips to the lamp, some expected loss to gold paint. This is truly a fancy hurricane lamp that would look great in your house. Beautiful 19th century oil lamp with clear beaded paneled loop font with etched bell flower design. Brass column on opaque white milk glass base. It measures approx. 10 1/2" the font is just over 5" in diameter, the base is 4" square and the top fitting approx. just over 7/8" inside diameter. The lamp is in very good original condition with only normal use wear and will polish up great. The diameter of the shade is 9 7/8" The font tank has a small drilled hole in the bottom for the wire which comes out through a small drilled hole in the filler cap. This lamp is in nice condition. Other than the flaw mentioned above. The lamp is a cream milk glass and has the Lincoln Drape pattern on it. It also has an"A" on the bottom of the lamp, which is for the Aladdin Co.
