Up for auction is an incredible and massive Italian floor lamp. Black and chrome. This lamp is in perfect condition and came out of an estate full of important mid century modern furniture and art. I can not find any labels but it is definately from Italy from the cord design. Possibly Stilnovo. O'Luce, Arredoluce, Gino Sarfatti? Made of some sort of metal i don't really know what kind The Have metal wire spoke design on the bottom base part and a neat planet saturn Design on top. Both come with matching Art Deco Retro Speckled shades which look to be original. The shade is an off white/ beige color made of a thick paper with white and black splatter design and black trim. have some patina and spotting from age and has a tiny little dent in the bottom of the metal where the cord comes out in the back. Lamp is large& heavy. Overall height 35" total height of the chalkware measures 21" including the brass base, center of the lamp measures 11" across, lamp has a weight of approx. 10 lbs. Wonderful design. In great vintage condition, three way lamp functions as it should, lamp is very solid& strong, free of any cracks, colors are bright with no fading. Brass bottom has no pitting or discoloration. Electrical cord& plug are also free of damage. Condition issues to be noted would be some age related scratches& scuffs.
