Center top section has draped prism strings and top has curved spires with prisms. I counted approx 410 total prisms with 5-8 missing. Vintage Mid Century Modern 1930's Russel Wright Art Deco Copper Table Lamp
For your perusal: A very rare 1930's Russel Wright Copper Lamp. It stands 22" tall and weighs 5 1/2 lbs. There are no dents. And the copper looks to be in great shape. It would shine up nicely(if that's the way you like it) but I'm selling the lamp the way I found it. The lamp has a switch problem so it needs to be rewired. In addition. If I was keeping it, I would purchase a new harp with a heigth that is about 2 inches less than the current height. I just feel it would look better aesthetically. I'm starting the bidding at $499. Up for auction is an incredible opportunity to own one of the rarest plaster lamp sets there is! Up for auction is the Female version of the Robin Hood or Hunter chalkware lamps made by Continental Art Co. in the 1950's. I believe this example has the original fiber shade and finial. Incredible over the top design that is super retro now! As collectible lamp sets. The Continental lamps prove to be super collectible! Great Art Deco design! Very minor paint issues. One scrape of the paint on her knee and some minor scratches on her back arm. These could be easily touched up. Original socket and cord both in great shape. The fiber shade is in very good condition but the cording is broken in a couple of places. There are very few issues for such a rare lamp. Nice color with glossy brown skin and speckled cream clothing and details. Large ... moremushrooms are at her feet. This auction is for this lamp only but I can purchase the male mate to this lamp if you are interested. There is no fiber shade or finial but he is in excellent condition like this one. The lamps have a Spanish influence with hanging accent chains at the top of the glass bodies. The wrought iron bases feature a"thumb print" design which is also interesting. MID CENTURY ITALIAN GILDED IRON WHEAT BLOWN VENETIAN ART GLASS SHADE TABLE LAMP
We are pleased to offer this beautiful. Mid Century(1960s) Italian, iron tole lamp with blown art glass shade. This petite and very interesting table or boudoir lamp features very heavy iron tole with gilded finish. The tole is wheat leaf/bunch design and is tied in the center. The leaves arc and curve to form a distinctive scrolled pattern. The lamp has a large(diameter) candlestick feature at the top center. In this section, a very large, Venetian, blown glass"gazing ball" styled shade is housed. The glass is quite exquisite with hundreds of air bubbles. The glass is golden amber in color. This is a very rare design and not too many of these are available. There are no manufacturing stickers remaining but the lamp is most likely Italian in design. The glass is unmarked as well but it is very nice, heavy, and very good quality. ... moreThis is a striking accent lamp! The lamp operates with one regular bulb(not the candelabra type) The lamp and the glass are both in extremely nice condition with very little evidence of age. There are some"rough" edges at the fitter, but this is due to the air bubbles in the glass. The cord is original and has the on/off switch attached. The lamp is in good, working condition. The lamp measures 10" tall without the shade and 19.5" with the shade attached. The lamp is 9" wide at the bottom and 15" wide at the scrolled section. These came from estate auction, but we were told they were originally in an luxury hotel in Chicago Illinois in the 1940's. I think this table lamp is from the 1940's or 50's. Maybe a bidder can give me more information. It is very elegant with a light magenta or dark rose raised flower with green leaves folding around the height of the lamp. There are gold accents on the flower and leaves with gold bands at the base and top of the lamp. All the colors are bright and beautiful. The background is a cream color and I believe it is ceramic. It measures approx 14 1/4" to the top of the lamp base and with the shade harp it is approx 24" with the bottom diameter at 6" All of the gold trim is in very nice condition except for the widest one at the top that show alot of wear. From a very prominent Hampton N.Y. estate sale we bring you this wonderful reverse painted pink glass shade. Sorry for the glare in the photos the glass with the exception of the painted art is pink. This is one of two that was in the hallway ceiling of an older large home. Would work on a lamp also. Find no damage has patina from being old and will need soap and water. Approx 5 1/4" tall top opening diameter approx 2 1/8" outside rim. Bottom opening inside 6 1/4" diameter. Vintage mid century art deco industrial metal bakelite bankers desk light lamp
For sale is a metal and bakelite industrial Atlas art deco bankers desk lamp that was made sometime during the mid century or a little earlier. It is in excellent condition and measures about 11 inches high. 13 inches wide, and about 7 inches along the side. The whole light is a very dark brown(almost appearing black) color with the shade and neck of light being metal and the base being bakelite. As o can see from the pictures the shade and neck are in great shape without any dents that I could find and only very minor scratches and discolorations expected of something of this vintage. The bakelite base is free of any chips or cracks and has a place for resting pens and pencils and sections for putting clips and other office things. The lamps has good working wiring and bulb holders(bulb holders are bakelite) There are two long bulbs that ... morehave switches that allow them to be operated independently of the other. You can have one or both on at the same time. The shade swivels up and down. This is an excellent vintage bankers lamp. This is a Huge mid century modern ceramic with open cut outs. It has Lava melting down the lamp that measures 22 inches to top of base and 43 1/2 inches to top of shade. It has a three way switch and lights up in center which is cover in yellow material. Rare Original Lusca for Jacques Adnet Mid Century Modern Art Deco Lamp
Just out of a local house is this original Jacques Adnet lamp. It was designed by Jacques Adnet(1901-1984) and produced by Lusca. It has an enameled stylized floral design on an ivory colored ceramic base with an all over craquelure finish. It also has a small black band near the base. We believe it was produced as a lamp and is all original. The top and bottom fittings are bronze or heavy brass and must have been custom made for the lamp. See photos. The lamp with finial measures 26 1/4 inches high. The ceramic body measures about 9 7/8 inches. It is in excellent condition. We see no damage, the electrics work well, and the fittings have a nice patina. There is a tiny fleabite on one edge. We can see a small void near the base and this must have been done in the making as well as some very small factory glaze pops. There is no visible signature ... moreor makers mark. A companion vase can be seen with a quick search of the net. I have seen the vase described as dating from 1925 and 1950 from major auction houses and retailers. I do not know the exact year of the lamp but looks to be from before the 50's. It has a nice vintage appearance that would work well with any Art Deco or Modern decor. Art Deco Mid Century German Wire Sculpture Harlequin Dancer Mantle TV Lamps 40's
This listing is for an extremely rare pair of vintage harlequin dancer wire sculpture lamps from West Berlin in the early 1940's. Beneath the wire dancer(when removed) is a black and gold label that reads; Made in West-Berlin USA-Sektor Germany. Though made in Germany. They have a very strong SoHo New York studio feel. The sculptures are very springy, and hard to photograph without blurring- kind of like a Hula girl desk toy. The lamp with the girl measures 12 1/8" tall overall. And has its original black painted finish to the wooden base. The base has a scuffed area of missing paint. The fiberglass shade has some heat related warping issues, a small brown scorch, and a couple small breaks to the binding. Perhaps some gently applied heat, and manipulation could massage the shade back into shape- its still fairly supple. The lamp ... morewith the boy measures 11 3/4" tall overall. And has its original dark cherry painted finish to the base. There are two breaks to the binding on the shade. Both lamps retain their original finishes. Shades, felt backing, and wiring- and both work fine. The shades simply rest on the bases with a threaded collar on the socket to retain them. The two lamps are most likely from two different production runs due to several subtle differences, but almost definitely originally sold as a pair as evidenced by their sheer rarity, and the fact that I found them together. I attempted to research these lamps for nearly three hours, and came up with nothing remotely close. If it weren't for the export labels, factory quality workmanship to the finish on the bases, and uniformity of the wire coiling, I would assume that they were one-off studio pieces from America. THERE IS ONLY ONE SPOT AT THE TOP OF THE LAMP NECK WHERE THE WICKER IS PUSHED IN A BIT. THE TOP LAMP SHADE PART IS IN REALLY GREAT CONDITION WITH NO DEFECTS TO THE WICKER OR THE BLACK STRING FRINGE. THERE IS AWHITE GLASS GLOBE THAT IS ATTACHED TO THE SHADE THAT IS PLACED OVER THE TOP OF THE LIGHT BULB. IT DOES HAVE SOME OF THE WHITE FINISH WORN OFF AND THE METAL BRACKET THAT ATTACHES THE GLASS GLOBE TO THE TOP OF THE SHADE DOES HAVE SOME SURFACE RUST. THE WORN FINISH OF THE GLASS GLOBE IS NOTICEABLE WHEN THE LIGHT IS ON. BUT THE RUST IS NOT NOTICEABLE UNLESS YOU REMOVE THE SHADE. THERE IS ALSO ONLY ONE"PIN" THAT SECURES THE GLOBE TOP TO THE LAMP. Vintage mid century art deco industrial metal brown bankers desk light lamp A+++
For sale is a metal brown industrial art deco bankers desk lamp that was made sometime during the mid century or a little earlier. It is in excellent condition and measures about 13 inches high(but is bendable- could be higher or lower, lamp shade is 18 inches wide. And base is 7 inches X 5-1/2 inches. The whole light is a chocolate brown color- all metal. As one can see from the pictures the shade and neck are in great shape without any dents that I could find and only very minor scratches and discolorations expected of something of this vintage. The lamp has two bulbs and works great! The shade swivels up and down. This is an excellent vintage bankers lamp.
