Vintage Large Bradley& Hubbard Slag Glass Lamp. The overall height of the lamp is 29 inches. The base is 9 inches wide. The globe is 19 inches wide and 11 inches high. The globe will need to be repaired. The glass is pulled away from the metal cap where it attaches at the very top of the shade. I have made inquiries and have been told that this can be repaired. I do not have an estimate on the repair cost. The base of the lamp shows signs of wear and use and age. It is not uncommon for this type of base to have the issues that this one has. The top cap. Which sits on the top of the glass shade has been broken. The replacement parts are available for this type lamp under $50.00 The coloring is really nice. Several shades of blues and greens make it a very settling feeling when illuminated with all 3 bulbs and each in succession. This belonged to my Mother. As a child growing up in the 1950's I remember this having a large Tiffany style shade about 20"24" in diameter on it. After she passed away lamp shade got separated from base accidentally and got sold. It has a Bryant Electric Company single pull switch that operates each lamp separately and simultaneously, it works fine. Very heavy lamp weighing almost 5 pounds. Huge. Rare, Chicago Mosaic Stained Leaded Glass Table Lamp. Beautiful colors! PLEASE NOTE the last three pictures are similar Chicago Mosaic shades I found on the web. The lamp base is entirely different. c. 1910 Shade measurements: Roughly 9-1/4" tall x 18-1/2" across. Base measurement with Shade: Double socket lamp has adjustable height and makes lamp between 28" and 32" tall. In the picture it is in it's highest position; I think it looks better lowered. There are some cracks to some of the glass panes. Roughly 11(give or take) possibly heat cracks, but as one might expect from a lamp of this age. Under the magnification feature you should be able to easily see them though they are not so visible under normal use. There have been no restorations done. Acorn finial. May or may not be original to lamp. Cast metal ... morebase. Possibly spelter. This lamp, overall, is extremely heavy. NO international shipping. Lamp is being sold as found. We have here a rare and hard to find authentic, WILKINSON LEADED STAINED GLASS LAMP on a Wilkinson base, which is signed with a number on the bottom. The number is a little hard to make out and might be 308, 309. Wilkinson uses 5 normally so it might be 508 or 509. This BEAUTIFUL Lamp is a stunner, BOTH ON and OFF as with leaded glass lamps, it's all about the color and this has GREAT COLORS& TEXTURE! I have seen this shade with this same floral pattern but not with these colors; and if you like BLUES& GREENS, PINKS& GOLDEN YELLOW ORANGE, this is for you. The choice of glass is OUTSTANDING. There is great coloration and excellent use of glass selected for TEXTURE, such as RIPPLE, slag, striated, swirling, marble& mottled glass, all expertly selected in the making ... moreof this shade. The shade is about 18.5 inches across x 8 3/8' tall. This is the known factory size, and it goes to show that this was never repaired. The height of the HEAVY library base is about 27' to the top of the ball finial. The shade is unsigned, which is normal and to be expected; but this is a known, fully DOCUMENTED LAMP made by Wilkinson Company in Brooklyn, New York, between 1907 and 1915. Lovely unsigned Handel overlay or Teroca Lamp shade. Shade is 24" diameter. Fitter opening is 5" Shade seems to have all original glass. One green panel has a repaired crack, it's hard to tell, with the overlay you don't see it at all. The last two photo's show the crack, inside& outside view. NOTE: This shade is found on pages 55 and 73 of Robert DeFalco’s book“Metal Overlays by Handel” copyright 2000. Tiffany Era Antique Geometric Leaded Stained Glass Floor Lamp
Local Pick-Up only in Lakewood. Ohio, a suburb of Cleveland, Ohio This is an Antique Stained Glass Floor Lamp. It measures about 53 1/2 inches tall. The original shade measures 7 7/8 inches tall and is 18 3/4 inches in diameter. The lamp is for sale local pick-up only and cash upon pick-up. The Shade: The shade consists of 7 panels. Each with 71 pieces of glass, that's if I did the math correctly, there are no chips, breaks or problems with the glass. There is a small split that is shown in the photos, and that should be eventually attended to. The shade weighs a hefty 10 lbs. The Lamp: The lamp measures 53 1/2 inches tall. And retains it's original Bryant sockets, all 3 are marked"Bryant, 250W, 250V, Pat'd Nov. 25, 1907. I did rewire the base about 25 years ago and used reproduction cloth covered cord, the plug is modern. ... moreAll three lights work as does their pull chains. The bottom of the base measures about 1/2 inch thick and is about 16 inches across, and like the shade is unsigned, it appears to be bronze with an applied patina, I don't know for sure, but suspect that the base is filled with lead or someother metal to add weight, a photo is posted of the bottom. The lamp without the shade weighs about 30 Lbs. I purchased the lamp about 25 years ago from an 86 year old gentleman who was moving into an assisted living facility. He purchased a house with all its contents in 1933, and the lamp came with the house. The lamp's cord went bad in the 1960's according to Hugh, he then removed the shade and stored it, and then placed the base in a closet. The lamp does have a slight tilt to it due to laying in a closet for over 25 years, I've never attempted to straighten it out, as it never bothered me. The manufacturer is unknown to me. I assume it was a new player in the leaded stained glass business in the early part of the last century(1907- 1910) as the shade, to me anyway, looks to be over-engineered. This is a stunning antique high quality stained glass. And brass electric table lamp. the lamp is made from thick black glass and has a great shape. It has a circular brass base and filler brass top part on the top which has nice detail. right above is the shaft holding the dual brass light sockets. they each have beautiful brass on/off pull chains and are completely adjustable. they pivot back and forth on the shaft. Vintage light shade. I do not know how old it is. It is octagonal(8 sided) with repetitious pattern. I know very little about this type of item. I believe this is what is refered to as leaded stained glass. Soldered metal frame with colored glass. I took lots of photos so you can make your own decisions. Overall about 10 inches tall. 7 inches wide on top, and 15 inches wide on bottom. I cleaned this item some but it will look even better with a proper cleaning I do not see any damages or repairs other than one cracked panel on top(see photo#6) and one solder repair strip on top(photo#12) Still sturdy. Solid and sound frame. It is dusty/dirty and needs cleaned. It has some wear, nothing serious, it still looks very nice and shiney/glossy. You judge the cosmetic appearance from the photos. T his is a large and elegant original Bigelow Kennard of Boston leaded glass and bronze table lamp with all its original signature parts. It dates from around 1906. This lamp has been in my immediate family since the fall of 1975 when it was purchased from a fine art antique shop in Chicago. This sale is really for a serious Bigelow Kennard collector and probably not a dealer. I love this lamp and I want it to go to someone who will love it as much and will keep it and enjoy it for a good long while. Kovels Antiques and Collectibles Price Guide priced this Bigelow Kennard lamp at $14.400 in 2010. H owever. This is a stunning vintage style handmade stained/leaded glass and bronzed table lamp. the shade is very high quality and hand crafted from many different colored and textured pieces of glass. they are done in a leaf style and exquisitely overlapping…very nice rare design. the light looks stunning when illuminated through the colored glass. the lamp is made of a bronzed colored composite/pottery type material. it has a wonderful design with stylized curved leaf feet and has two tassel on/off pull chains which connect to the swirl sockets. it holds two generic sized bulbs and is in great working condition. it measures 22 1/2 inches tall by 12 inches wide. Selling a documented. Circa 1905 leaded glass lamp manufactured by Unique Art Glass& Metal Company. This shade is in immaculate condition and is one of the best preserved shades I have come across from this era not in a museum. There are NO cracks. Only the tiniest blemish in the glass as shown in photo#6 though it is superficial and does not extend through to the other side of the glass piece. Both the shade and the base can be viewed on page 74 of Paul Crist's Mosaic Shades book. Lamp stands 21.5" high and shade is 16.5" wide. Has an original Hubbell socket in good working condition. The lamp has been rewired with modern, cloth covered wire and a vintage style plug. Nice verdigris over bronze patina. Has a quality, sand cast bronze heat cap/ring. There is a very slight dent on the rim of the base as shown in photo#9, which ... moreisn't unusual for Unique lamps given their propensity for constructing their bases with thin sheet brass. Overall. This is a beautiful example from one of the most influential and largest American manufacturers of copper-foiled lamps in early 20th century. This is a stunning vintage gold gilded stained/leaded glass electric figural table lamp. the base of the lamp is in the shape of an ornate female draped with flowers wearing a thin robe. she stands on a beautiful multi-tiered base with a stylized shell in front. And ia made from a gilded base metal. the shaft has a wonderful roping detail and is also gold gilded. it holds the brass socket and lamp harp. the stained glass is superb and is handmade from colored/textured leaded glass. it looks great when light shined through. it is topped with a brass finial and measures 20 1/4 inches by 12 1/2 inches wide. in good shape. Beautiful Antique Leaded / Stained Glass Lamp Fabulous Shade & Base Rewired Mint
This is a really Beautiful and very old Lamp. Created sometime around the turn of the century very early 1900's. The Base is either Iron or Bronze& has some weight. It does have a turn switch on the Base You can see in My photos. Has a really nice Finial that screws on to the Top. This Lamp& it's Shade are in Perfect condition. The Shade is different shades of green. Caramel& cream colors and it is a Leaded Glass Shade. The Shade is not like one I have seen before it is rectangular in shape. This is a Original Antique Lamp& very high quality. It does have some numbers on the underside but I am unsure of Who the Maker is. Look's much like a Bradley& Hubbard or Pittsburgh but I am not sure. Measures. 20" tall with Shade attached& the Base is 7.75" wide. The Shade measures,12.75" long& 6.5" ... moredeep. It’s very finely constructed and has very beautiful glass. Great condition but needs a cleaning as there are some paint speckles on it.
