3 Matching Stained Glass Lamp/Ceiling Fan Globe/ Shades
These stained glass globes for your ceiling fan or other similar uses have no scratches. Cracks or breaks; all the glass is there. They came from my mother in law's house, and I can't tell you their age or the country of origin. There are no markings on them to indicate either. They are very beautiful, and the pictures do not do them justice. The pink in the flowers is much brighter than the pictures are showing to be here. The globes are right at 4 1/8" wide across at the bottom; 4 1/4" tall. And the bulb opening is 2" and has a lip all around it. I tried it on my ceiling fan and they fit perfectly; if there were 4 of them I wouldn't be selling them! I absolutely love them, but just have no place for them here. They have been carefully packed with lots of packing materials so they won't shift in shipping; and ... morewill go UPS because of the weight and fragility. This item will also be insured this way. UPS was several dollars cheaper on this, and I do ship a lot of things with them and find them to be very quick and reliable with delicate things. Antique Lamp Vintage 3 Arm Table Lamp w/ 3 Dome Glass Globe shades
This is an absolutely stunning lamp. It was purchased at an estate sale a few years ago. The bottom said made in holland but they put my sold sticker over it and it peeled a little off(see pics) It is brass and crystal or glass with 3 pattern frosted look globe shades. It could also probably use a good polishing. The arms seem a little loose but it might be made that way to adjust. It sits up just fine. Globes are attached with clips. Approx. 17" tall and 15" wide. I wish I knew more about this one. I always joked that if the roadshow came. This is what I would take! I just don't have a great spot for it anymore and it deserves a lovely home. This auction includes a set of two vintage sort of pale pastel yellow or creamy custard art glass shades which have a very nice flared shape to them. Raised ribbed patterns around the sides, and rough cut top and bottom rims. They measure approximately 3" tall. By approximately 6" across at their widest center points. The top openings measure 5" across to the outer edges, and the small bottom fitter ends measure approximately 1 3/4" across to the outer edges. Both are in very good condition. And have no chips or cracks overall. There is minor roughness with some small chiggers to the rims which is typical on rough cut shades. No big deal in my opinion, but wanted to mention in case it would matter more to someone else. Bright spots are only light reflections. Beautiful set to complete your lighting! All original from my own collection. Rare railroad glass globe for a railroad train lantern. There are no chips. Cracks or breaks to this antique piece, the glass has some rub marks on it where it was in the lantern. I only have the globe and not the lantern that it fit into. I found it in our old 1800's barn in the rafters. There is some discoloration to the glass around the top and bottom of the rims. The top of the glass globe is embossed with USLHE. I am not sure of the location or manufacture that this refers to. It is approximately 6 1/2" tall x 4 1/4" wide at the widest part. The top opening measures approximately 2 3/4" wide and the bottom opening measures 3 1/2" It is in a bell bottom shape. Incredibly rare find from a depression collector's estate sale. 6 Fenton lamp shades. Globe style with beautiful scalloped, ruffled rims. The inside has a classic'milk glass' coating, with high quality amber glass. Hobnailed bumps on the mid section, with globe style top. These shades are in fantastic condition, except that one has a small crack running from the top down to the rim. The evenness of the crack makes it appear as a seam. It is shown in the pictures for your inspection. These shades give off an incredibly warm light, handsome while delicate. Finding six together in this condition is quite a rarity. Old and rarely-seen things are my passion, so You are bidding on or purchasing: A PAIR OF VINTAGE GLASS SHADES FOR HURRICANE. RAILROAD OR BARN LANTERNS, RED DIETZ 3 7/8" ROUND GLOBE AND 6 3/4" CLEAR, FOR PARTS OR PROJECT. PAIR OF VINTAGE GLASS SHADES FOR LANTERNS OR LAMPS, offered as acquired from estate. There's got to be some collector or restorer out there who needs these- I've had them laying around in my shop for a couple of years now. But have never had occasion to need them, so time to let them go! The red glass shade is 3 7/8" tall. And has a"Dietz" ... moretag still(mostly) affixed. It has a 2 5/8" diameter opening at one end, and a 3" opening on the sculpted/formed end. The clear glass shade stands about 6 3/4" tall, with the sculpted lip opening being about 2 1/2" diameter and the larger opening on the flared end about 3 1/4" diameter; it has only the part of a sticker left on it, which looks like it was probably an identical"Dietz" sticker but I cannot be sure. Both shades had some dust and soot from their previous life which I(mostly) cleaned up before listing. The red shade has some hints of black paint around the sculpted lip edge opening, but it should probably not show when mounted in a lamp fixture, and you could probably remove it altogether if you have more desire and patience than I do. This is for a pair of vintage frosted/satin look shades with a hexagon shape. Six panels with scallop edges. They measure 4 1/2" high, the fitter opening is 2" across, the larger opening is 4 5/8" across the sides( measuring across the panel corners it is 4 7/8" No damage to these nice old shades. One has what I would call a tiny flaw in the frost, it can't be felt and is not damage, just a tiny lighter spot. the glass is heavy and thick, each weighing 12 oz.
