The Metal is a combination of tole metal and cast metal spelter type with original cold painted finish with shabby stressed look. Art Nouveau design with lady Nymph sculptures at the base of each lamp; Each lamp is a 4 light fixture with mouth blown art glass rose satin flower shades. That crown the top of these glorious lamps; each lamp is signed at the bottom. I believe these are French European origin. The base measures approximately 18cm in diameter. The brass base is absolutly stunning with an Art Nouveau repousse acanthus leaf design to the column which supports the large brass font displaying the same pattern. A few minute little dings to the base and one tiny mark on the edge of the brass collar. Barely noticeable but mentioned for accuracy. The lamp is a Globe Vulcan center draft burner. It has a new replacement flame spreader. The shade gallery is in good order and supports the beautiful satin glass pale pink shade which is moulded with the same acanthus leaf design interspersed with daisy type flowers. This auction is for nice set of three pyramid-sized Clarke fairy lamp shades with one Clarke base. Included are: one amber diamond point shade. One diamond quilted satin citron shade and one ribbed mustard-colored shade. There is roughness and small chips around the top and bottom openings of all three shades. The quilted citron shade has two notches in the base plus a larger chip on the base and discoloration at the top and bottom edges from heat exposure. The single base is stamped S. The satin ruby red color is stunning and the pattern is called Iris. The embossed Iris pattern is continuous all the way around the globe and the base. The ruby glass is extremely thick which makes which gives this lamp a nice weight. The lamp measures 29 1/2" tall to the top of clear chimney. The top globe measures about 11 1/2 inches in diameter. Antique Duplex banquet Parlor Piano Brass Lamp oil Cast Iron Floor satin shade
I have lots of vintage lighting items listed and more added all the time. This is a great lamp with a beautiful satin glass shade and the shade has no chips or cracks it will have wear and some ring roughness that they all have. The outer shade does have the original brass ring at the top which the inner shade sticks up through. This like most of these has been electrified so you can safely use it today. Some people do convert these back to oil burning and you would have to replace a few pieces to do that but not that hard you can buy the burners and parts on ebay. This has normal wear you would expect but for being from the late 1800s is fantastic and has very cool claw feet on the base. The inner clear glass sahde may not be the original I really don't know it's just clear glass so who knows the outer shade is old you can easily ... moretell its age. Eiffel tower antique table lamp light with satin shade rare hard to find rewire
Rare hard to find very old Eiffel Tower lamp. It appears handmade, with the metal tower, someone has 2 large metal discs it still has the bullet shape light bulb, very old satin lampshade, with fringe, it appears handmade, tucks at top, and some need to re reglued, tear in around the same area the tower measures over 13" tall, not counting discs, almost 9" counting fringe, I will take better pictures, it ornate in a lot of places. Will need to be rewired, for sure, someone has added onto the cord even. The metal bottom measures approx from below first disc to end of leg approx 13" tall, the shade counting fringe approx 9" I have decided it probably needs decorative tie or trim around where it is gathered. Up for Sale Antique Fenton Table lamp. The size is" 22"tall total 13"tall the satin part 4" wide at the last white round part 5 1/4" wide at the bottom. This lamp in in great shape and it works. There are no cracks or chips that I can see. There are 2 gray lines in the lamp where it goes in at. 1880's-1900's Original Victorian Antique Parlor Oil Lamp with Satin Glass Shade
1880's-1900's Victorian Antique Oil Lamp This 1880's-1900's Victorian Antique Parlor Oil Lamp has been in my personal Antique Collection for over 40 years. This Victorian Oil Lamp is a beautiful work of art with spectacular ornate design and incredible hand craftsmanship. The Satin glass shade globe has a beautiful raised embossed grape design. The lamp oil reservoir with Burner assembly can be removed by lifting it out of the base of the lamp. There is a Full/Out indicator that works on a float valve system. The lamp is missing the glass chimney that is suppose to stick out about 2 inches above the shade. The chimney replacement is very cheap and can be bought at numerous locations. I have seen them in several places over the years for less than $10. This antique Victorian Parlor lamp stands 11 inches tall(without the shade ... moreon) and about 7 inches wide. It is about 21 inches tall with the shade on. The globe is about 11 inches tall and 10 inches wide. This parlor lamp is a wonderful addition to your Victorian decor. It is satin glass and so soft and smooth to the touch. Bright gilding has faded to a muted gold. The flowers are bursting with life and gorgeous. I believe this is from the forties. I have cleaned the metal base to reveal a bronze-ish top plate and an intricate design scalloped base with remnants of gold tinge. Quite lovely. Metal neck on top appear to be copper w gold left in spots. Original felt base is missing. And easily replaced. I have seen these lamps described as bohemian, west germany, murano, Victorian, shabby chic, satin glass cased, 1940's. Lamp is a fine quality, well made and lovely, whatever the origins. ANTIQUE BRONZE SATIN GLASS GLOBE SPELTER ART NOUVEAU DECO TABLE LAMP LIGHT NICE Up for your consideration is this antique bronze and satin glass table lamp. It is made in a art nouveau/deco style(kind of) Please be sure to see the other antique items we have listed. FEATURES: This lamp is unlike anything that I have ever seen in the past. Or could find online, including eBay, Google images and a bunch of other sites. I believe the base is cast from solid bronze. It is made in a very ornate style with scrolling and leafing, and very fine details. The white satin glass globe is adorned with the most detailed hand formed( vines and leaves applied to it. They look like they have been extruded or maybe hand formed(possibly similar to how you would use a pastry gun) when the bronze was in a malleable state. I'm not sure of the actual process ... moreused to make this beautiful lamp because some of the vines feel like they are actually embedded right into the surface of the glass- and the final product is stunning. Each leaf has a very detailed design that includes a"ruffling" on each edge of the leaves. The vines and leaves have been attached to the globe by what I can only guess is a"melding" of the two materials while they were in a hot or workable stage. If anyone knows what this process is, or knows how it was made, an email would be greatly appreciated. The top section above the globe may have been cast from a different composition of materials than the base was. It is designed with a Roman or Greek style with a column look and leaves that fan out at the top. At the top of the four leaves there is a small hole where presumably a crystal hung down from there at one time. It comes with standard socket switch 2 clicks on and two clicks turns it off. I believe this lamp was re-wired with a new cord and socket sometime in the 1950's-60's. The length of the cord is a bit less than 6 feet. c. 1885 Mt. Washington Decorated Parlor Lamp, Satin Art Glass, IRISES, Antique!
This lovely antique lamp is a fine example of a"Mt. Washington Decorated" parlor lamp and is fresh from a Michigan estate. It dates c. 1885 and is a very unusual shape! The overall height. To the top of the shade, but excluding the chimney, is 17 1/2" The shade alone measures 6 1/4" tall with a 10" diameter fitter edge. The glass is satin-smooth and in very good condition, other than one shallow flake/chip out of the top edge of the shade which measures about 1/4" by 1/4" by 1/16" deep.visible in the close-up photo. There are also two very, very small flakes along the bottom fitter edge, from merely taking the shade off and on over the years(very minor) The remainder of the shade is in excellent condition, as is the glass base. The decoration is truly lovely.irises on both the top and bottom! The shade ... moreis especially pretty, with irises in the foreground and a marshy scene with a house and a fence in the background! The decoration is highlighted in gilt/gold on both the shade and base.glistens in the light! The reverse side is also decorated with iris buds. It was adapted for electricity many years ago, as most of them were.the burner was replaced with a light-bulb socket, the brass tank was drilled for electrical wires, and a notch was cut from the side of the brass shade holder to accommodate the turn switch. It was not the most sensitive electrification, however the electrical works should you decide to plug it in and use it. The fancy cast iron base was repainted gold many years ago, and some of this gold paint got on the glass base.as shown in the photos.a rather sloppy paint job! The Hall Lamp would have originally had a glass Oil Lamp font inside. That is missing but the Estate had it wired for electricity many years ago. I was told they had it hanging and working in a past home but it is has been stored away for many years. The Lamp is very much more beautiful than my photos show, the Glass Shade goes from a deep Pink color at the top to a light blush Pink color at the bottom and features a unique Polk a dot pattern that I have not seen before. The Lamp is overall in very good condition, there is some minor rim chips that are covered by the fixture but no large chips, cracks or repairs of any kind. The bottom cap also shows a loss as seen in the photo but overall it displays beautifully. I have not tried it to see if it works but I am sure you would want to rewire it when you hang it in your home anyway. I am now 83 and this hung above on my mom's side of her bed ever since I can remember. It is entirely possible that she was the one who replaced or sewed the satin shade long ago. ~It is an icon of an old-fashioned style no longer easy to find. Although not sure of date. I estimate it to be from 1910 to 1940, and most likely there in the middle somewhere. Looks to be all original materials, most likely even the stitched satin shade. ~Height(not including hanging brackets) is 6 1/4" and width is 12" Depth at centre is 4" at top. Shade slopes outward to a depth at centre of 5 1/2" at bottom. Hanging hook brackets are about 1 1/2" high and extend about ... more2 1/2" They can be adjusted easily to fit most situations. ~Made of a strongly soldered thick copper wire frame which gives the lamp its wonderful triple-curved shape. Frame also includes rear hanging hook brackets built as part of it. As well as bracket that secures the electrical socket for light bulb. Truly an artistic as wall as professional job. ~Original socket with weighted pull-chain still works fine. As well as original wonderful Bakelite plug. Braided silk wire, even though it looks fine, is best to be updated. otherwise it looks good! ~Shade is unusual since it is made of antique satin fabric. Pulled tight and sewn almost like upholstery to cover the frame. The sewing is meticulously, expertly, and carefully done. ~Shade material is a shiny purple or burgundy satin. It flares outward from top to bottom. Which gives shade a distinctly elegant shape. And it is stretched around the three curves in the frame in such a way so as to take up the shape, looking much like"waves" Shade material has a wonderful border of dark pink brocade sewn on the edges. Fine Antique Reverse Painted Table Lamp Satin Glass Shade Chrysanthemum Flowers
We are pleased to offer this antique table lamp for auction. This beauty stands an impressive 25 inches tall to the top of the brass finial. And the shade measures 18 inches in diameter with a 3 ¼ inch fitter. Both the shade and base are unmarked. But date to sometime in the 1920’s or 30’s. The base is a cast iron in composition and has the original painted bronze finish with a rich. Warm patina. The finish is nearly 100% with just a small loss around the edge of the base. The shade as mentioned is unmarked. The glass has a satin finish with a reverse painted decoration. Gentle pastel hues of rose and purple were used to make the chrysanthemum blooms seemingly come to life. This shade is free from any cracks. Chips or repairs and the reverse painted floral blooms have no loss of image. The bronze fitter cap is original to the lamp. Up for auction is an antique enamel painted cast metal boudoir lamp with a puffy glass reverse painted shade with blown out roses. I do not know the maker. However the lamp base is extensively marked. It has a wreath logo and a model numberr"136" Also, a patent date of 11-22-21 and Made-in-U.S.A. The lamp has a BRYANT socket and the harp is marked with a letter"P" The lamp measures 16" tall to the top of the urn finial. See photos for further detail. See additional condition report above.

Antique Art Deco Miller Lamp Co. Reverse Painted Lamp Base & Satin Shade #232
This auction features an antique bronzed Miller Lamp and shade. This lamp has been in one families possession since it was acquired new back in the late 1920’s(Or maybe the early 1930’s. The owner cannot remember exactly) The bronzed base stands 20 ½ inches tall and has a nice authentic patina. The base features alternating panels with tulips and a stylized art deco design. The base is signed on the bottom as pictured and retains all of the original bronzed finish. The cord is a replacement cloth cord. The shade which is original to this lamp is a satin glass shade with an attractive reverse painted scene which completely surrounds the shade. The shade measures 15 inches in diameter. Stands 8 inches tall, and has a 3 ¼ inch fitter. There are a few condition issues needing mentioned. The first and in my opinion the worst of the issues ... moreis a loss of original finish. There are 4 areas where this has happened, and I have pointed all four for one to evaluate. Here is the story I was told on this issue, and I tend to believe it. The original owner liked the way that the canopy of the lamp had areas where the red-toned sky was lighter is depth. Making it look like a clouds. She liked this so much, she decided to scratch off areas on the shade to make it resemble clouds as well. I am certain this can be restored, and it does look like clouds, but I think if I were to keep this, I would have it restored. The second condition issue is two small chips on the edge of the shade. These are small. We have shown them in comparison with a pencil point for one to evaluate. These are on the flat ground surface and does not affect the profile but mentioned for accuracy. There is the typical roughness around the fitter, but these are covered when the original cap and finial are placed on the shade. All in all. A nice survivor.
