Please excuse the small amount of photos and their low quality. It was challenging for my camera to take good pictures of this item. This original Aladdin glass chimney is from a model 12 lamp. But I believe it can be used on other models. I am just not sure which ones. Measures about 12.5" in length. 2.75" width at base and 2" width across top. Weight is 5 ounces. The"ALADDIN" printed on glass is very clear. Under that it reads"REG.U.S.PAT.OFF MADE IN U.S.A. Condition of glass is very good. Lamp has a crystal clear font or fluid tank section and a black hexagon shaped foot. Comes complete with the chimney. Shade spider, and flower decorated globe. Burner. Spider, and fill cap each have an aged brass patina with no green spots. Burner has been electrified. There is a twist knob style on/off switch knob on the side. Lamp bottom has not been drilled or altered for the electrification. Simply replace the electrified burner piece with an original oil burner and it's a fluid burning lamp again. There are no chips. Up for auction is an Antique Aladdin Model 6 Oil Lamp Circa 1916. The burner appears to be complete. And is in working condition. The wick control knob moves the wick up/down, but is a little stiff. There is a lightly used wick. The oil fill cap turns on/off freely. I filled the font with water and there are no leaks. The Satin Brass finish is tarnished and shows normal wear with great character. There is no chimney. The burner is easily disassembled. Overall a nice Aladdin oil lamp for your collection. UP FOR BID IS THIS OLD ORIGINAL ALADDIN LAMP BY MANTLE. MODEL 12. NICKEL FINISH BASE. REAL MARKED CHIMNEY GLOBE(PIC#3) DOES HAVE A COUPLE NICKS IN THE GLASS ON THE VERY TOP OF THE CHIMNEY(PIC#4) THESE ARE ONLY ON THE SURFACE(OUTSIDE) AND DO NOT GO ALL THE WAY THROUGH THE GLASS. NOT CRACKS. BURNER IS BENT A LITTLE ON ONE SIDE(PIC#5) SMALL DENT IN THE FUEL TANK RIGHT UNDER THE KNOB(PIC#9) ALSO MAKE SURE YOU ARE AWARE OF THE LACK OF NICKEL PLATING AROUND THE BURNER BASE ON THE FUEL TANK. THIS LAMP WAS USED. NOT JUST PUT UP ON THE SHELF FOR SHOW. STILL A NICE COLLECTIBLE PIECE. IF NOTHING ELSE. BID ON IT FOR THE REAL ORIGINAL CHIMNEY GLOBE. IT IS IN EXCELLENT WORKING CONDITION WITH A NICE AGED PATINA FINISH AND STANDS 18-1/2" HIGH. THIS MODEL IS 8734 BY EMERALITE, OF H.G. McFADDIN CO. NEW YORK. PAT DATE IS AUG 15, 1916. THE BEAUTIFUL GREEN SHADE IS ORIGINAL TO THE LAMP WITH A EMERALITE DECAL IN THE BACK, BUT MOSTLY WORN AWAY. THE SHADE HAS NO CRACKS, CHIPS OR DINGS OF ANY KIND AND IN BEAUTIFUL CONDITION.
