Shown is a mid to late 19 century Hanging Hall Lamp this original item is in very good to fine condition. It has been converted to electricity but as may been seen in the photos it could be easily returned to its original state. This lamp is complete including kerosene lamp and chimney the brass has lost very little of its original luster the lamp itself measures i8 inches in height the three chains are approximately 37 inches long each and. Allowing the lamp to be raised and lowered, on wooden wheels making for a noiseless raising and lowering operation. VERY RARE Tiffany Studios EARLY Leaded Favrile Glass Bronze Table Lamp Late 19c
I am so excited to offer this very rare exceptional Tiffany Studios Bronze and Leaded Favrile Glass lamp Very early piece. Possibly(and probably) one of the first 16" tall. Shade is 12" in diameter Let's start with the signatures. They are everywhere they are supposed to be. Base- Signed Tiffany Studios New York with the pre-1902 5 digit serial number of 10752 Shade- Bronze applied tag signed Tiffany Studios New York Favrile lower shade- Signed L.C.T. I have photographed all of these for your inspection Signatures aren't everything when it comes to Tiffany Studios so let's move on to the other details. Wear and tear- At the top of the shade. There is a panel that has loosened over the years. There is also a crack in one of the lower triangular panels. On the lower favrile shade, someone had very long ago wrapped this ... morein tape to protect it while being secured into place, it is dirty black and crumbles now and it is very hard to read the L.C.T. but it is there. One of the pull switches is stuck in the on position and will not move. The wiring is old on this lamp and the sockets are original. I was attempting to inspect the socket of the side that is stuck on. I stuck my finger in there( and it lit me up. The cord is a cloth covered Leviton and I'm unsure if this is original but it does have significant age. The pull chains are bronze and have the correct early bronze ball pull. Acetone nail polish remover did not affect the color of the glass. The patina is even on all parts of the lamp and the quality of the bronze is wonderful. As it should be. You will want to see pictures of the areas I highlighted. So don't hesitate to send a message, I have no problem sending anything you want to see. Why am I selling this here? The lamp is plain brass with no writing on it but is unusual as it has a full sized wick without wadding in the tank. This allows significantly more light. The lamp is in excellent condition with no visible damage to it and the wick winder is in perfect working order. So the lamp can be used, as you can see. Beautiful Antique Chinese Late Qing Dynasty Export large hand carved"jade" bird mounted as lamp on carved rosewood base. This is in turn mounted on two pierced repousse brass platforms. The carving itself dates to the late 1800s and I believe it was made into a lamp in the late 1920s an this was quite the fashion during that Gilded Art Deco Era. The height to top of finial is 24" Sculpture and wooden base measure 11 1/4" The stone is often referred to as jade. But is more correctly fluorite or green quartz. Beautiful gradations of color. Varies from deep sea green to aqua depending on light. Normal cracks are inherent to this beautiful stone. Very fine detailing to the head and wings produced from one solid piece. Upper part is solid and niche is created below for access to internal light. One can barely fit ones fingers ... morein niche to replace bulb. Late 19th Century European Antique Oil Lamp (converted to electric).
Late 19th Century Kerosene Oil lamp made in Europe(most likely France by it's style) The lamp was converted to electric some time ago. Stands 27 inches high(including chimney) It has a beautifully hand painted porcelain/ceramic(vase) body signed by the artist(artist unknown) The base and stem are brass and has a smoked/etched glass globe top. It still has the European plug from the initial conversion along with the U.S. converter so as to plug into a standard outlet. It is in perfect working condition. I bought this lamp from an estate dealer. It came from an estate of a home in upstate New York. It is from the late 1800's- well over 100 years old. It is in very good condition. I have used it a bit and as you can see it lights up very well. I turned down the lights and lit the oil lamp so you can see how much light it throw out in the last three pictures. In the last three pictures I turned the lights out and it really illuminates well. The lamp to the top of it's chimney is 19" and about 6 1/2" at the widest part of the red globe. great lamp!

Antique "Lectrolier Limited" Bronze over Copper Lamp, late 1800- early 1900 LOOK
This lamp is ancient. I had looked it up several years ago and remember it being one of the first electric lamps made. But unable to find anything about it now. It is unoperatable and needs complete refurbishing. There are some stress/ age cracks as seen in pictures. This lamp probably had a globe glass shade at one time. It is bronze over copper if I remember correctly from previously looking it up. The images I feel are of the great tragedy of the theater. Great theme. Anyway. Rare Late 19th Century Floral Dresden Urn Lamp Large
Offered is a turn of the 19th century Dresden urn lamp with wooden base straight out of an important historic Hudson Valley estate. The urn is porcelain with the incredibly detailed floral designs and lovely murals that made Dresden legendary. In 1902. Dresden Porcelain started marking their items with a blue"SP Dresden" insignia; this is not found on the lamp, either because it was made before the insignia was used or because the wood base is hiding it, but it is very obviously a Dresden piece. The lamp is full functional and simply needs a new shade(better for the buyer to choose on in keeping with your decor) It is 31" tall x 9" wide(across handles) and is an extremely heavy quality piece. The wood base is painted to match the rest of the urn but does have some paint chipping and symmetrical black markings. because ... moreof the intricate design. Vtg late 50's retro hanging Flying Saucer Lamp light fixture pull down save $$$$

It was in good working order, it just hung too low for the room it was in for our purposes. It appears to be from the late 50’s or 60’s. The shade is made of a gold toned metal and measures about 12 ½” in diameter. And is 5” high. The reflections in the shade are of me taking its picture. The entire fixture. When hanging down, measures 25” The ceiling cap measures 6 1/2 inches in diameter. Short wires remain. The hurricane lamp is frosted glass at the bottom and clear glass at the top. It measures 8 ½” tall. There are a few scratches on the frosted part of the glass. And also some discoloration from the base that held it although these marks do not show when it is inside the base. The switch inside the ring on the ... morebottom of the lamp works. As does the cord to pull it down lower from the ceiling. Although there are a few worn cloth fibers on the exterior of the wire casing. The metal has discoloration from age in several places. There are also some small paint spatters here and there on it. A LITTLE HISTORY: It is thought that manufacturers created slag glass by taking slag. The waste content of metal ores, from iron-smelting works and adding it to molten glass. The process created a variety of effects, such as tortoiseshell and marbling. Slag glass is often found in brown, like this listed lamp} purple, blue, and green, with streaks of white or cream. The glass originally went by descriptive names such as, marble glass, or"brown malachite. The British company Sowerby patented its recipe for purple malachite in 1878. Lampshades were a popular application in both England and the United States. Nearly any lamp maker from the Art Nouveau period may have used slag glass in their lampshades. ... moreSome people often refer to any type of pressed glass containing swirls or streaks as"slag glass. According to a well know collectors publication, the key to identifying true slag glass is to look for obvious and richly marbled glass. THE LISTED LAMP: This lamp has varying shades of brown and cream. The glass is encased in a brass framing with decorative fretwork around the bottom of the shade. Each of the eight glass panels has an Art Nouveau design in the bottom center of the panel. The metal lamp base itself is rather different than many. In that it does not incorporate a top disc or finial by design. The shade fits over a large metal circle at the top of the harp structure to hold the shade. See photograph# 4& 8} Once in place, the shade will not come off without lifting it straight upward over the lip that is a bit higher than the shade. However, it will allow the user to somewhat easily rotate the shade to display the glass panel of their choice.
