Antique Hand Painted Cast Iron Ship w/ Tole Petals Two Light Nautical Lamp
Old working lamp in great condition. It is made of heavy hand painted cast iron with a tole leaf over each of the petaled lights. It has an old patina. Some chips in the paint and an old thick round cord. On the back the maker's name is stamped into the iron and says"Allied Metal- Inglewood, Calif. It measures about 13-1/2" high and 14" wide. The base measures about 3" front to back.

Check out my! My Dad. Mike, was the collector of a diverse variety of items. He spent his whole recreational life hunting down the treasures and in this case put it inside a plastic bag and tucked it in the corner. No information on this lamp from his source but it may provide for your interest. It is as pictured with limitations noted above. It appears to be a 1920's Spanish Revival Sailing ship table lamp. The theme is a sailing ship in full sail on the high seas of a wave. The wave form pedestal sits on an oval shape base. Petals surround the two candle sockets. It has what appears to be the original bronze and polychrome finish. The circular stain glass center is lovely in color and condition appears fine. The lamp is 13" tall with a 6 1/2"oval base.

Glass, Wood Up for sale is this working striking silhouette antique sailing ship lamp with giant full moon frosted glass background. needs rewiring) The lamp is hand made and the ship was probably a die cut in copper. The base stand is wood. The ship is copper and the glass background is frosted. The wood base measures 5"x10 5/8" The entire piece is a hair over 9 3/4" tall. The wiring is the old time cloth from probably the 20- 30s and has to be replaced for safety reasons even though it works. The socket is loose and will need a nut when the wiring is replaced. The frosted glass has some soiling and some rough edges mainly with a few tiny flea bites. There is some soiling which can be cleaned up on the glass and wood. I would let the copper naturally age. Vintage FDR 1930s LAMP/Franklin Delano Roosevelt at SHIP's WHEEL/Glass Shade
Offered with no reserve. This terrific metal lamp has its original green glass globe shade. The base is white metal decorated with an applied brass colored finish. There is a presidential seal as well as the motto"F.D.R. The Man of the Hour" across the bottom. The green pressed glass shade is impressed with a design of leaves. It has no cracks or chips. But some tiny white"inclusions" in the glass. The original cord is brittle and frail. And needs to be replaced(immediately! Measuring 14.5" tall(including the shade) 7" wide and 3.25" deep, the piece has no maker's mark. The bottom is lined with worn felt. This form is usually found as a clock; the lamp is hard to find. And harder still to find with the original shade intact.

This is a very old vintage table lamp with a replica of the Pirate Ship. The oval shape shade is a medium tone burlap. Paper inside. Shade in excellent condition.The ship itself is made of wood with cloth sails. A few of the cords are broken and ship rocks a little, might be just reglued. I have owned this lamp for about 40 years with the good intention of rewiring it. But never did. The Art Deco Base appears to be Bronzed cast metal. I occasionally oil it and it comes to life. There is a minor amount of rust, mainly underneath. The Green Mottled Slag Glass is in Excellent condition on the top. Close inspection will show chips on the bottom. This leads me to think they used left over, end-of-day glass in these Nautical Table Lamps as it would be hidden in the base. I still consider it to be in very good condition. The Harp is original and is affixed to the base. The electrical wire has been cut close to the bottom. There is enough for you to see how heavy duty it was. It is 9.75 inches tall and 4.75 inches from spout tip to back of lamp. It is in excellent condition. It includes 3 pieces but does not have a wick pick. It is late 1700's to early 1800's. I can only guess that it was designed for royalty b/c of the design and the decorative qualities it displays. It has numbers on the bottom but I do not think they are original to this piece. Cream gold gilded lamp "L" Lenox? Brass base porcelain roses vintage FREE SHIP!!
From base to bulb. 2' tall. Gorgeous cream colored gold painted roses leaves and stems with double urn like handles and quilted embossed design on bulbous. Brass base with filigree edging. And an"L" in capital script on the plug. I wrote to Lenox and they do not have antiquities references. They suggested an appraisal. I am making an educated guess that this is Lenox. But am selling it as just a beautiful lamp. Unless I am 100% sure, I do not want to misrepresent the auction. Based on the compressed type of paper liner that was on the bottom originally, I would estimate this lamp at being 50 years old, if not older. Works fine. Bulb and shade not included.
