Early 19th century grease lamp complete with it's original adjustable trammel mechnism. Circa 1760-1810. Similiar examples can be seen in the Rushlight Club's book Early Lighting as well as other references on Colonial period metalware and interior furnishings. The bottom pan of the piece would have been filled with grease or oil with a burning rush reed placed into the pan. Additionally a small open pan lamp could be placed on the bottom with the pan acting as a platform. We found a small open pan lamp with the piece thats slightly later(likely mid 19th century) and are including it with this auction. As you can see the piece is complete with it's original ratchinging trammel mechanism. Allowing the user to vary the length of the piece to meet various illumination needs. In it's shortest state the piece measures 29" in length. Expandable to 41" The pan itself measures 6"x 2 3/4" x 3/8" Some slight pitting and oxidation expected from age though overall a very good++/near fine example. Click the images and you'll see great signs of period blacksmith made construction design and original condition. This is an original ca. 1920s-1930s Art Deco industrial style desk lamp. Made of chrome and milk glass with a toggle-type switch. The lamp stands approximately 11 ½” high and the base is 5” across. Neat Art Deco styling. No maker’s mark that we can find. CONDITION: Some spots on the chrome finish, should clean and polish up nicely; lamp works but the cord is very worn and cracked and would need to be replaced. This complete working advertising lamp. Having its original hard to find paper/parchment" style shade with advertising for Gilbey's Gin, as well as its original bottle base with the labels still affixed. It has its original blue glass round finial as well. The shade is not torn or poked, nor is there any spattered paint, no writing. There is some very light foxing that is hard to notice, and which does not affect the look of the shade especially when lit. The shade is secure and rigid as it was intended to be. Antique French Champleve Gilded Copper & Brass Table Lamp Paris ca.1880-1890
This table lamp is most unique in its form and design. An antique French Champleve candelabra that was modified to become an electric lamp. It is very beautiful with a gilded copper and brass metal angular body and a large circular face-plate insert of enamel champlevé design on both sides, in the style of the late 19th century, circa 1880-1890 in Paris. The colors of the inserts ranging from light green, dark blue, light blue, black, white, pink, orange, to gold. From its base to its socket, the lamp is 27 1/2" tall and 7 3/4" at its widest. There are five brass tiers on which the champlevé discs sit, and between the bottom tier and the ones above, there are four sculpted"figures" connected with chains, holding up the tiers above. The finial reflects the design of the discs and it is 1 1/2" tall. Weight ... moreof the lamp is 7 lbs. 5.4 oz. The bottom of the brass base is covered in green felt. This type of lamp is very rare, and this one is a particularly splendid specimen. There are signs of age, wear to the gilt and some patina on the bottom tier, which is perfectly normal. It is in perfect working order and in very good antique condition. It would enhance any home décor wherever it is displayed. FOR THOSE INTERESTED, there is a matching lamp to this one, also listed, however with a different colored champlevé design, the colors ranging from light blue, dark blue, green, black, white, pink, orange, to gold.

It's about 23" tall and 16" at the widest point. It has a three lobed base. And baby dragons(just hatched, looks like)ok, ok, DOLPHINS) help support the main shaft. It has two bulb receptacles for changing light levels/colors on the fly; as you can see in the pic, it will happily light up a red bulb. It appears to have the original wiring. The shade is hexagonal, and I observed no cracks or chips. The paint is worn somewhat, which either adds to its charm or is its peculiar way of saying"Bronze me! Gild me! Ahem. A rare and beautiful circa 1920 French or Czechoslovakian glass nude fairy lamp with exceptional crystal glass beaded wing decoration. The lamp retains the original early 20th century fixtures and silk cord. The base is black glass. There is a small tight crack in the bottom of the base(see pics. The base of the frosted glass figure has a 1cm edge chip on the back behind the left foot(see pics. This chip is only seen from the back and is not distracting or unsightly. There appear to be five tiny red beads missing from her belt buckle. I have plugged in the lamp and it does function properly. The new owner may want to have it rewired as it is nearly 100 year old wiring. The bulb is not included in the sale and will be removed before shipping. Magnificent Top Art Deco Pierrot Harlequin clown lamp I am offering up for sale a lovely vintage lamp. This lamp has a lovely pair. One is a harlequin clown attempting to woo a lovely young l ad y. The painting detail on the painting is superb. The couple is 5.5" tall and the total lamp(not including the lamp fixture) is 7" The entire lamp is 10.5" tall. I did plug this in and it does work but I would recommend rewiring it as the plug is old. There is a crack on the front of the base next to the two birds. It does go through to the back. These oil sections can be found on ebay lamp parts and the opening is 1 1/8" in diameter. If you wish to restore it(an easy fix) The bottom section which is the 1000 eye pattern Vaseline glass by Richard and Hartley is in perfect condition. It dates to 1888 making it over 127 years old. We have taken photos of the lamp as it presently functions with electricity and then with the chimney and then with just the Spanish Lace shade. Take a good look at picture#12 to see how the 1000 eye multiply themselves in each eye. Overall this is a very rarer ... moreitem to find and will display beautifully no matter how you intend to use it. Measures 25" tall to the top of the chimney. Overall this Antique lamp is in good working condition! Lamp is approx. 29" high shade is approx. 23" diameter The weight is about 22 Pounds Lamp has patinated bronze base with three sockets and pull chains.
