VINTAGE SCOTTIE DOG LAMP - FROM THE 30'S or 40's?
Up for auction is a cute vintage Scotty dog lamp that I believe is from the 30s or 40s time period. The lamp is approximately 10" tall and the base is 4" wide. The shade is the same glass material as the base and there are four pictures of the dog(one on each side of the shade) The only blemishes I could find is the paint on the Scotty dog is faded and wearing away in spots and where the light bulb holder is connected on the underside of the shade is chipped. Other than what is noted I could not find any cracks or chips and the lamp appears to be in nice shape for its age. The lamp does work but I would recommend changing the electrical cord as it is kind of crusty and old. The light bulb is not included and it is a two piece set. Vintage 30" Figural Banquet Lamp
We had this lamp appraised at an antiques show. The following information was provided by the appraiser: This lamp is an electric working lamp which was probably made in the 1960’s. It is approximately 30” tall with an 8” globe. The shade appears to not have been made for this lamp as it is too small for this size of a banquet lamp and typically would have been 10” and frosted. It is not a true-cut glass; part of it is cut and part is not and is also extremely thick. This appears to be a European glass with the crystal portion being most likely made in Romania and the cutting done in the Czech Republic. It is approximately 24% lead. The prisms appear to have been made post WWII. The crystals have pins which turn in a 90-degree angle and come out the top and were most likely made in Czechoslovakia. The metal portion(antiqued spelter) and alabaster ... moreis indicative of a piece made in Italy.

Beautiful Vintage Solid (30 lb) Marble and Brass Standing Floor Electric Lamp
You are bidding on a beautiful marble and brass floor lamp. Very very heavy piece weighing almost 30 pounds. Lamp itself measures from top of harp to bottom of base 62" height base measures 11" square. The very top part is a hard plastic but the rest is solid marble and brass. Due to the age of the lamp the finish on the marble is flaking off but an easy fix. The base itself has no cracks that you can feel from the outside there are some streaking that looks like it it could be a crack but its inner and this would have to be a manufacturer flaw but again it could just be the streaks in the marble itself. The marble on the top of the base does have a crack. But its not a thru and thru, the piece cracked but is still stable on the base itself) The sides of the marble on the base looks like it has some discoloration from probably the ... moreglue they used to hold the pieces together but shows no cracking. As I previously said the discoloration is mainly the top coat over the marble on the base flaking off. I probably went overboard with the description but I want buyer to be aware of any and all flaws. None of these flaws hurts the integrity of this lamp it is absolutely beautiful. The shade will not come with the lamp it does have a rip in it. For the utmost protection I will have the lamp professionally packed and a special box made for it. Antique Epergne Lamp 30's 40's Amber Vase & Crystal Teardrops Vintage Art Deco
This listing is for a very unique Epergne Lamp. All original. Except for partial rewiring. Works! It's an antique and has been in my family a long time, but I don't know much about it. I believe it's from the 30's or 40's- Art Deco Period. It has the cloth original wiring inside, which is in good condition as you can see in the pictures, with some that has been rewired. It's made out of a combination of leaded glass, brass coated metal, and tin. I'm not sure if it's solid brass or brass coated(over possibly pot metal) but, it is extremely heavy. The vase is amber colored glass. The tulip leaves are tin with hanging amber crystal teardrops. Four of the teardrops are missing. And one of them is broken. The enclosure where the main light bulb is located, swings back on a hinge to open and has amber leaded glass ... moreinserts on the bottom part, and a light blue leaded glass top. This bulb contributes to illuminating the vase. The lamp also is adorned with 2 brass ladies, one on each side, holding cascading rosettes. The Lamp is approximately 14" high at the top of the vase. It is ornately decorated, yet, stunningly charming. I believe these bulbs are old. And, one of the bulbs has come out of it's threaded base. It is a really beautiful piece. For sale is a vintage horse lamp. Marked holland mold"Pete" 1972. Also marked on bottom with a name. Works just fine with the original cord. Measuring in at 30" tall. The base is 7" x 7" wide. Full of detail as shown in pictures. This lamp is made of plaster casts but have been designed to look as a piece of carved wood. No chips or cracks. There is a tiny place that looks funny on one of the corners but is painted over so I take it as a bad place during casting. So small they didn't worry about it. DESIGN: A rare and unique Modern Streamline Lamp design in the manner of Art Deco designer Gilbert Rohde circa 1930. Manufactured of solid Brass. Polished solid Nickel and Walnut, well engineered and machined. CONDITION: This rare and unusual lamp is in excellent original condition. Completely intact and fully functional. Light signs of wear with no significant damage or repair issues aside from the mounting hardware of the rotating shade to the cantilever frame.they do not match so my guess is something has been refitted? The solid Walnut wood base is free of any dings or scratches with a nice overall finish while the solid Nickel cross plate which serves as frame mount and base weight shows some faint tarnishing. Original wiring and socket has been inspected and appears to be clean, safe and fully functional. Antique Banquet OIL LAMP Converted Cherubs Patent April 30. 1885 USA GWTW 22" Antique Vtg Old Banquet Table Victorian LAMP Light Cherub April 30 1885 GWTW 21 plus inch tall banquet lamp. No globe or chimney. An old oil lamp converted to electric. Electric portion works. Original patent date April 30. 1885. On the metal behind the original wick adjustment knob- see second photograph- possibly 1895) The dial reads"Made in US of America. Cherub pattern. Victorian. This looks like a"Gone with the Wind" lamp. We are not experts. And I can't say for sure that this would be. Technically, a GWTW lamp as the lower portion/globe is metal. Overall the lamp does appear to be in very good shape. There are some very small markings on a couple of the cherubs; these small areas look like patina or oxidation or some kind of external ... morechange. We have closely inspected the lamp. We do not see any cracks or major defects. Naturally. There are some scratches and there is some oxidation on the brass sections of the burner assembly. The lamp is being sold in as is condition. It will be shipped to you in a large box with ridiculous amounts of bubble wrap to protect the lamp. Please review our feedback carefully. We have sold a gone with the wind globe that shipped well and a beautiful barrister's cabinet/ bookcase and recently. A movie projector.
