There are new wires as well as new sockets and it is being sold as working. The lamp shades shown in the pictures will be included. The glass lamp shades are free from any chips or cracks. The fitter size is a standard 2 1/4" so most antique lamp shades would fit this lamp. This lamp also comes with the ceiling canopy and the original mounting bracket. This is for a Beautiful Antique 8 Panel Ornate Victorian Caramel Slag Glass Lamp. The 8 original caramel glass panels are all without chips. cracks or repairs and really gives off a warm glow. All tabs are present. The frame is solid without splits. The filigree is all present and without damage. The wiring appears to have been redone in the 50's or 60's and works well. Both sockets work flawlessly. One socket was replaced. The lamp is just as found from a Southeastern Wisconsin Estate and could use a thorough cleaning. The patina is a copper/gold color from years of use. There are small hints of wear here and there. But nothing major. This large lamp stands just under 25 inches tall, the shade is 19 inches in diameter from point to point or 17 1/2 inches from flat to flat and 8 inches deep. RARE Antique Pairpoint Cut Glass Shade Art Nouveau Whte Marble Brass Lamp 25" H
GORGEOUS Art Nouveau PAIRPOINT Antique Lamp Cut Glass Shade 25" High This is an exquisite example of an early Pairpoint lamp. The Pairpoint Co. originated in Massachusetts in 1880. They combined with another metal co. to begin to make lamps. The combination is just breathtaking. This is one of Pairpoints earlier examples of a frosted cut to clear glass globe shade. This lamp is just breathtaking lit up and in person. I believe the metal here is brass which has a nice patina to it. The design is Art Nouveau. There are Greek faces along the sides of this ornate metal work. I believe the base to be white marble but I am uncertain. There is a metal pull chain to turn the lamp on and it is in great working condition. The brown cord is also in great shape and is pliable. There are no markings on the lamp but I purchased it because it matched a tall urn that belonged to my great grandmother which also had no markings. This auction is for a vintage ceramic lamp. It depicts a victorian lady in peach silk dress. The lamp shade matches her dress. The frame of the lamp is of wire frame and the body is made of ceramic. It stands approximately 25" tall. the shade is about 15" in diamater. The silk shade comes off entirely along with the dress. The lamp is in good working condition. There are no chips on the ceramic body and the wire frame is in good condition along with the cord. The shade has had repairs done to it along the top part. I assume due to tears. There is a loose strand of lace which I believe is for the bottom part of the lamp. All in all it is in good condition and is a very nice collectable item. Check out my other items! A woman who organizes estate sales asked me to sell several items. Offered here is a vintage metal genie lamp. It is 5.25 inches long by 1.5 inches tall. It looks like it is made of bronze and has a verdigris finish. The metal has been etched with a design. The bowl also looks like it was used to burn something with an ashy residue.
