1700's Antique Hand Painted Ceramic with 14 Karat Gold Trim Lamp
I was given this item to sell by someone I know. I'm not 100% sure about it's authenticity. But here's what I was told. This item was made around 1760 by Georg Heinrich Macheleidr, in Germany, before he actually opened his factory as a prototype. It is hand painted with 24 Karat gold trim on the handles and some of the paintwork. Originally this was a candle lamp that was converted to electricity in the early 1900's. The trademark g marking is on the inside on the bottom. Picture is included. As well, the lamp was appraised about 20 years ago for $3,200. No idea what it's current value is on the market, so going with what we know.

You are viewing an ORIGINAL Tiffany lamp shade created in the early 20th century. The quality of the glass and exquisite patterns formed is what placed Tiffany far above all other American lamp designers of the era. These lamps were expensive when they were created and only the very well off could even dream of owning one at the time. The shade is of the geometric type with a running acorn pattern or sometimes also called a running vine pattern. Beautiful mottled glass which blends glass different colors and textures was used. This allows variations of light through different parts of the shade as one walks around the shade. The mottled glass was a Tiffany trade secret and they guarded the hundreds of'recipes' for the many combinations.This is what makes Tiffany unique among other lamp makers of the time. The care in design, materials ... moreused and execution by highly skilled craftsmen in the Corona, NY workshops. The shade is signed" TIFFANY STUDIOS NY" on the inside outer edge of the shade. The shade rests upon a rare Tiffany bronze Art Nouveau lamp base. The base shown is NOT on offer in this auction but being sold separately, see my other items(if still available) Tiffany offered a variety of shade/base combinations as well as custom made items. The condition of the shade is very good. It is tight with no looseness but there are small breaks in some of the small individual pieces about 15 areas(panels) as are on most Tiffany lamps. Any Tiffany expert will attest to this fact. Since people moved from place to place over the 100 year lifespan of the shades and sometimes the shade may not have been protected adequately. But this shade was never abused or worse yet dropped on its rim. And most important, none of the glass has been replaced. That is definitely unacceptable. better to be damaged than replaced! Unique 7 Sided 14 Slag Glass Panels w/ Metal Overlay Lamp
Beautiful and Unique Metal and Slag Lamp. The Metal Filigree work is really incredible. Lots of detail and in great condition with the original authentic patina 7 Sided with 14 Slag Panels. I don't know the actual age but believe this would from the early 1900's it has been in my family for around 50 years and said to be an Antique then. The slag glass does have one cracked panel. Not very noticeable until you are looking for it(see photo's) It does work. The cord was changed, I think in the 60's. I don't see a makers mark but it does have a soft fabric glued on the bottom and I did not want to tear it off. It is very heavy about 13lbs. 14 inch high figural stem oil Lamp. This lamp has a 4 3/4 inch square X 1 inch high metal base. The figure is the bust of a beautiful woman. The figure is 6 inches tall and is supporting a brass colored base that holds a glass font for the lamp oil. The glass is 3 inches tall and 5 1/24 inches across. On top of that is a brass colored cover that the burner screws into. The glass font has some decoration on it.

Antique cast table lamp base with harp 14 1/2 " painted
This lamp is probably from very early in the 1900's judging by the design. With the leaves and the fluted column in the design. It could be Art Deco. All the old wiring had been taken out. New wiring would have to be put in anyway for safety sake. It is 14 1/2 inches tall to the top of the harp and 4 inches in diameter at the base. From the base to the harp is about 6 1/2 inches. I have looked for manufacturer's identifying marks and could not find any. I do not know what kind of shade originally went with the lamp. At the bottom of the base is a berry an shell design. Then there are leaves and flowers in the design. There is a hole in the base for a light switch to be put there. The original paint looks to be a light yellow or beige with red and green accents. A very fine antique. Circa 1920's, unmarked: Phoenix, gilt metal lamp with reverse painted winter scenic glass shade having a satin exterior finish. The lamp base is in the original unworn gilt finish, metal without dents or breaks. Lamp retains the original shade support, shade cap, and finial. It is in working order with original brass socket and turn switch, new cord and plug. Lamp measures 22" tall by 7-3/4" bottom diameter, the shade 7" tall by 16" diameter. One lady face on spout, handle adorned by beautiful beaded lady High quality and hand crafted from many different colored and textured materials. very nice rare design. The light looks stunning when illuminated through the colored glass. ANTIQUE PAIRPOINT 14" SHADE SPIDER for LAMP BASE - POLISHED BRASS
Up for auction is a beautiful antique shade spider for a Pairpoint lamp base. This would support a 14" shade. It is approximately 13.75" between the opposite ends of the prongs measured diagonally where the shade sits. The center hole is.25" and the rise at the center where it sits on the base is 1.5" The distance between the arms is 10.25" measured straight across at the end of each arm where the prongs are. I do have a beautiful signed Pairpoint lamp base up for auction separately. This spider will not fit that base properly as it will not clear the arms and sockets. It will only fit if upside down. Which is not correct. If you wish to purchase that base I will combine shipping however. The spider is in wonderful condition and shows no sign of damage or repair. This piece is now likely over 100 years old and displays ... morebeautifully! Fabulous 1940s Chalkware Shepherd Dog 14 inch Tall Table Night Light Lamp Amber
This is a wonderfully proud looking Rin-Tin-Tin type Shepherd Dog Lamp. It is made of bronze painted solid chalkware measuring 14 inches tall. 10 1/2 inches wide, and weighing about 7 pounds. The bronze paint is in good vintage condition with some small paint rubs as is usually seen with chalkware of this age. The lamp is in good working order. The amber glass shade is in great condition with no chips or cracks. The shade does tip a bit and should probably be stabilized with a rubber washer. The lamp takes a regular bulb or candle-shaped bulb. Shown with a 40 watt candle shaped bulb. We ship on the next business day after purchase. We maintain a 100% customer satisfaction rating.
