We are very pleased to offer this Edward Miller& Co. Meriden, Conn. Oil or Kerosene Banquet Lamp. Font. This Font has never been electrified and has the original Burner and Shade Holder. It is Brass and. Again, has never been electrified. The Burner is marked on the top of the Flame Spreader with the Miller Logo. The oil filler cap is not marked. The Wick lifter does work and moves easily up and down. Please see the photos that show it in the up position and in the down position. The Font top is highly embossed and in one section is marked: THE MILLER LAMP. On the inside column that holds the flame spreader there are the following Patent Dates; PATD. NOV. 18'90; MAY 29'92; APR. 24'96; JUNE 4'92; APR. 4'93 AND MAY 2'93. Antique Tall 19th Century French Robins Egg Blue Opaline Glass Kerosene Oil Lamp An ornate gilt brass base surmounted by a blue opaline glass double pedestal. Decorated in gold fleur-de-lis designs, seperated by gilt brass fittings, topped with a kerosene tank and removeable fixture assembly and glass chimney. The lamp was in the process of being converted to electric at some point in the past, but this work was not completed. The bottom of the kerosene tank is stamped: Vaast NY- Maker" the glass is more than likely French made, and is definately in the French taste! This is opaline glass and is NOT cased glass. Up for bid a really cute antique miller banquet parlor oil kerosene lamp it has really nice embossed raised fleur de lys and it looks like pewter and solid brass or bronze the lamp measures 20.5H the base is 7in leg to leg top is 4.5 says patented june 28. 1882 the shade is signed handel#1045 it is 33in around and 3.5 top and 12.5H and 4 in on bottom it also comes with a chimney I will include a pic with the shade and pic. As I mentioned above I bought the lamp on ebay and the shade has a hairline as shown on the pic it was probably repaired but you can feel it's really not that obvious and it has a missing piece on the bottom of the shade as shown other than that it is a very nice lamp with a great deal of patina. ANTIQUE GONE WITH THE WIND OIL KEROSENE BANQUET LAMP WITH FOLIAGE
Rare 1890's Gone with the Wind Banquet Lamp. This is a very hard to find shape of Jumbo Parlor Lamp with matching shade& base. It has the double duplex burner turners. This lamp has amazing metal work. The bottom"Bun" Feet are very store and decorative. The glass is all hand painted and finished with beautiful Leaves& stems with little trails of vines. The shade is a full size large piece. The bottom is a wonderful bulbous shape. The lamp stands 27" tall to the top of the chimney. The base is 17" tall on its own. The shade stands 11" tall and is 10" aprox in dia. There are not chips, cracks or repairs to the glass. Some normal flea bits on the edge of the shade, but not seen. We mention for accuracy, but the shade edge is remarkable as well as the rest of the lamp for its odd large size and age. The ... morelamp has been electrified. Long ago someone put a switch off to the side of the tank. We have left the lamp in"As Found" condition. It has not yet been restored. The cord is an old one. And we will wait to see if the lamp sells in this round before we seek out a restoration. That way the new owner can decide weather to update the electric or put it back to full oil use. The stems are marked Duplex( see pictures) The bottom frame is very sturdy and a bit heavy. Antique Victorian 1875 Electrified Banquet Kerosene Lamp
Charming late 19th Century(1875) Victorian Oil Lamp. Electrified. Beautifully moulded font is decorated with 6 raised drops, between each is a delicate raised white enamel painted flower with gold gilt leaves. The base is black enamel glaze over metal on which sits a brass foot leading to a brass reeded column. Gorgeous etched glass shade and a flat sided clear glass chimney. Overall measurements are 26"h to top of chimney, lamp alone is 16"h base is 7.25"dia, shade is 5"h x 8"dia and chimney is 10"h. It is in excellent condition, no chips, cracks, breaks or repairs. Here is an absolutely gorgeous Gone with the Wind lamp from a local Charleston. SC estate. It is always nice to find these lamps with matching shades and bases, however, this lamp has something extra special and not seen so often and that is the hand painted Calla Lily design.simple and beautiful! The colors of the flowers and foliage is nice and bright while the shading of the background is soft pastels of pink. Tangerine and yellow. Height to the top with the shade(and no chimney) is 26" The shade is 10 1/2" in diameter. The fitter is 4" for the top shade and the font is 5" As mentioned in the condition above. I have up for sale a simply wonderful vintage original circa very early 1900s PL&B Co Pittsburgh Lamp. Brass& Glass Company GWTW Gone With the Wind Style Kerosene/Oil burning Parlor Lamp. The lamp is drop dead Gorgeous and its massive,standing approx 27-1/2" tall- with the top ball shaped globe shade measuring approx 10-3/4" diameter. This lamp is just that much larger than most examples and that much more beautiful- its top of the line lamp,even better when seen first hand. This is about as good as it gets for Gone with the Wind lamp. I have had many GWTW lamps and none any more beautiful than this. The front of the lamp features absolutely gorgeous floral decorations of what I believe are Magnolia Flowers. No damages and wear is light. Pic#11 shows the front decoration of the shade. I photo shopped it giving a high resolution ... moreso any wear is magnified. It looks nicer when seen in person. Please view the pics and make your own condition assessments. The fount is the original SUCCESS Pittsburgh Lamp. Brass& Glass Co with original burner. The chimney is not included in the sale, the one that I have is damaged and it just adds to the difficulty of packaging. Overall the lamp is in Very Good to Excellent Original Condition! Any wear is most minor- no damages nor any repairs. Some very minor wear to the plating on the base but nothing of any significance. The wick appears to be somewhat stuck. May need some adjustment or cleaning where it fits into the burner. Maybe after its been burned, it will loosen and move more freely. This is an absolutely gorgeous lamp. This lamp is in excellent condition. Stands 19in to top of chimney. 9in to the collar. The shade is a satin pink with a gold painted trim on top opening. 5 3/8 tall and 2 5/8 bottom opening. The burner is Kosmos Patent Reformed original to the lamp. On the bottom of the base is a painted 46. The only so called flaw on this lamp is the big toe wasn't painted all the way before the firing. Does Not detract from the value at all and really don't notice it unless pointed out. I've had bought this lamp years ago and the only thing it needs is a new home and a good cleaning.
