Pair of Vintage Capodimonte Italian Pierced Porcelain Table Lamps ~Complimentary
Pair of Vintage Capodimonte Italian Pierced Porcelain Table Lamps- Made in Italy Exquisite pair of Italian Capodimonte hand-painted table lamps. Each lamp is slightly different. But share the same design/motif. Each lamp features a regal majolica Rococo pierced porcelain body standing on an stately brass base with ornate filigree and four dolphin feet. The decoration is dominated by colorful pink. Violet, green floral motifs with gold embellishments. Included is harp and matching finial, no shades included. One lamp is slightly larger than the other, and their designs are slightly different. Nonetheless, the pair make a wonderful complimentary set and work well together. Each lamp has a"Made in Italy" marking, but I have not taken them apart to find the Capodimonte makers mark. The larger lamp measures 38" to the finial. 24" ... moreto the switch/knob, and has a 8.5" wide base. The smaller lamp measures 37" to the finial. 21" to the switch/knob, and has a 7" wide base. Some of the gold is worn in places. Most likely from cleaning. I do not see any chips or cracks. This is a beautiful vintage table lamp in cream and gold with pierced scrollwork and ladies. All of the design is raised and hand painted. It also features open pierced design. The overall height is about 28" and the diameter of the bottom is 6" The widest part or the lamp is wider than the bottom. I believe this is a three way lamp but I did not have a three way bulb to test it. There is a small crack above the rim of the urn that the topiary is in but it most definitely looks like a firing flaw. There are some broken leaves but they aren't noticeable breaks. Beautiful Antique Vintage Collectible Italian Capodimonte Benrose Lamp Cherub. There is writing on the base. Made in italy,benrose, and#47.NO CHIPS OR SCRATCHES.This light does work, it has been plugged into wall and comes on with no shortage at all.BENROSE PORCELAIN IS THE PRETTIEST OF THE CAPODIMONTE PORCELAIN THAT WAS EVER MADE. IT'S HEAVY, YET LOOKS DELICATE AND FRAGILE. IF YOU WANT THE BEST BENROSE IS IT. BUT IT'S HARD TO FIND AND EXPENSIVE WHEN YOU DO FIND IT. THE BENROSE COMPANY OF NEW YORK CITY NO LONGER PRODUCES FINE CAPODIMONTE FIGURINES IN PORCELAIN. THEY HAVE VERY PRETTY VENITIAN MIRRORS AND CONTEMPORAY ITEMS, BUT THEY STOPPED IMPORTING THE CAPODIMONTE IN THE LATE 1990'S.Benrose imported pieces with their own labels. PAIR ANTIQUE FRENCH ITALIAN ROCOCO PORCELAIN CAPODIMONTE URN TABLE LAMPS SHADES
We are pleased to offer this BEAUTIFUL AND RARE pair of antique Italian Capodimonte or French Rococo lamps. The pair date to the very early 20th century. They feature toleware bases which are adorned with 4 toleware cameo medallions. The lamp bodies are exceptionally lovely. The lower section feature figural statues of the"Three Graces" or"Gratiae" These beautiful ladies are bisque porcelain. The trio are holding a large. Gilt and painted porcelain vase. The vase is quite ornate and detailed. The fronts and backs have delicate pink and yellow flowers and gold gilded accents on a black background. Dimensional, white drapery swags are superimposed over the black background. The swags come together in the center of the vase and are accented with a large, dimensional cameo medallion. The sides of vase are white with gold accents ... moreand are reticulated. Each side has two large handles. The handles are also accented with gold. The lamps are in good condition. They do have some minor chips to the porcelain but they do not distract from the beauty of this pair. There has been a repair to one of the hands of the women at the wrist area. Again, it is not distracting. The wiring is old and cloth but the lamps are working. This is a beautiful and old pair of lamps with incredible interest and detail. The pair are not visibly marked. They have felted bottoms. The lamps each retain their original shades. The shades are large. Victorian style. They have scalloped tops and bottoms with long fringe and tassels. They are ivory damask with tone on tone pattern. The shades are lined. The shades are quite lovely but do show some age. They do have small worn area at the frame sections. The inner lining is torn in some areas. They are old and original and I feel that they should be included with the lamps. Beautiful Pair(Qty. 2) of Vintage Capodimonte Italian Porcelain Urn Lamps. Hand Painted, Swan Handles, Dolphin Footed, Brass Base. Made in Italy. The lamps do NOT have any chips or cracks. The only wear found on these hand painted porcelain lamps is shown in the last photo. A very small amount of gold has been worn off the back of one of the lamps but not noticeable under standard light. The brass bases are is good condition, as shown, but, do to the age, could possibly use a professional cleaning to bring back a high shine. These lamps have been tested and work perfectly; also. Have 3-way sockets. Lamp shades and bulbs are not included. The lamps are 22" high to the base of the bulb and 32" high overall. And 11" wide at the handles.

(3) Vintage Italian Capodimonte Porcelain Cherub Lamps Dolphin Base + (4) Shades
Rare offering. Up for auction are three(3) vintage Capodimonte lamps- a matched pair plus a larger lamp that is coordinated with the pair- plus two pairs of shades(a total of 4 shades) All lamps have same color scheme and"go" together. Black. White, gold/gilt color scheme and pastel scenes with a cherub theme. Neutral colors go with most decors. Brass dolphin bases are the same for all three lamps. The pair are 18" high to the top of the light socket. Did not measure the tallest one. But from the first photo, you can see it is a few inches taller. The taller lamp is NOT an exact match with the smaller ones, but it definitely coordinates with them, has the same color scheme and overall design. The three may have been sold as a set(all 3 were purchased at the same time, probably in Boston's North End) These lamps come with ... more4 shades for you to mix-and-match: 2 white and 2 black. The white shades are a linen material. The black drum shades are a suede-like material. I have included photos of the larger and smaller lamps with each of the shades. The lamps look good with either shade, but you may need to buy different sized harps to suit your taste on where the shade sits relative to the lamp. These lamps have been together since the'60s. They probably should be rewired. Although they work just fine. The brass bases are missing the felt bottom. The brass has a nice vintage patina- it can be polished but I will leave that up to the new owner. Antique Vintage Capodimonte Italian Porcelain Lamps #655 1900-1940
Italian Capodimonte# 655 lamps for sale. These are a matched pair and are very old. We found these at an estate sale and are in the same condition as found. Very dirty and need cleaned. One is perfect and one is cracked. Old Bakelite finials are broke. Please examine pictures of lamps to know what you will be receiving. Both lamps are hand signed on their bottoms. Hand made porcelain hand painted with gold enameling. Bases are good. I put a bulb in both and they both work properly. Cords are good also. The cracked lamp is definitely repairable.
