Antique Inkwell Wired as a Lamp, Likely 1980's with Horse Decoration
This late 19th century to early 20th century lamp was made using this brass inkwell as the base. It is mounted to a wood base with four small brass feet. The inkwell still has its original caps for the wells. The lampshade is not included but can be purchased for an additional $350.00. It is custom made for the lamp base using 100% linen and cotton tassel ball trim. The lampshade rests at 21" and is 14" wide. New wiring with a three way socket.

The wiring was redone years ago and the white plastic cord needs a good clean. If you'd like to rewire the lamp it's a simple project. There are sellers here on ebay that stock bran d new cloth covered cord in all the deco vintag e colors. The lamp takes a clip on bul b shade adapter like the one in the last ... morephoto. This antique& very old& certainly original carriage lamp light from an actual carriage that held a real fuel in it. This one was converted into an electric light. Great piece for a ranch house. Or barn house. It also has a red piece of red glass or maybe it's a gem of some kind as they used in the old watches, I'm not sure. On the back side of it where it opens, I'm doing further research on it& will post the more I find out about it. As you can see, it has one side window and one in front. This may have been a left lamp light for the carriage. The lamp itself is all brass& measures 20" long& is about 7& 1/2" wide& has a girth of about 6" The round piece of clear glass in the middle is 4& 3/4" in diameter. Vintage Armor Bronze Horse Lamp
Up for sale is a vintage Armor Bronze Horse lamp. It needs to be rewired. And there is some scraping were the lamp touches the horse. The light loop also needs to be fixed. From what I can tell it is a very early piece. I believe it is made in 1928. The lamp shade is original, but it's not in too good of shape. It comes with the stand. We are pleased to offer this beautiful. Mid Century table lamp. This gorgeous lamp also retains its matching, detached planters. The lamp is of a beautiful, rearing horse or steed. The lamp is ceramic with a fabulous and unique color pattern. The colors are white, green and a rusty brown. The side planters also have the same color pattern and palette. The planters are made to slide up to the base of the lamp and they fit the base perfectly. The lamp is somewhat different that the usual, Mid Century TV lamps as it has a raised socket and harp and is designed for a normal lamp shade. The lamp is not marked. We were told at auction that it is a Royal Haeger. The foil the sticker is not present and there are no other marks or stamps which would verify this. Regardless, the lamp is of very nice quality. There are no chips or cracks and no noticeable crazing. The interior of the planters are also glazed. They are very clean and do not appear to have been used. This is a GORGEOUS lamp and the retention of the original planters is rare. The lamp measures as follows: The horse and base are 12" tall. The lamp is 15" to the top of the socket and 21" to the top of the harp. The base is 5.25" wide and 3" front to back. The planters are 4.5" wide. 4" front to back and 2.75" tall. For sale is a vintage horse lamp. Marked holland mold"Pete" 1972. Also marked on bottom with a name. Works just fine with the original cord. Measuring in at 30" tall. The base is 7" x 7" wide. Full of detail as shown in pictures. This lamp is made of plaster casts but have been designed to look as a piece of carved wood. No chips or cracks. There is a tiny place that looks funny on one of the corners but is painted over so I take it as a bad place during casting. So small they didn't worry about it.
