These are one of the finest and most ornate pair I have sold in a very long time with gorgeous large ornate Rococo style Candlesticks marked Wm A. Rogers. S.P. Lead. They are Silver Plated Lead which makes they very sturdy and they won't topple over easily which is important because the Ruby Glass Shades are very beautiful. The Shades are a Cranberry Flash with nice Fern type designs etched to Clear, much prettier than my photos show. The Hurricane Lamps are a great size for display and use measuring 10-3/4" tall over or 4" across the base of the Candlesticks and 3-3/4" across the top opening of the shades. The Silver Plated Candlesticjks are in amazing condition, bright, shiny and beautiful. The Glass Shades are also in very find condition with some minor roughness around the bases that are covered by the Candlesticks and one has a tiny crack that is only noticeable upon close inspection. Great Quality Heavy Cut Glass/Crystal Oil Lamp Font With Brass Screw Collar
This auction is for a superb quality. Hand blown, heavy cut glass/crystal oil lamp font that comes with a brass oil lamp burner 1.5"3.8cm screw collar. This has not been fitted. Victorian in date. The font weighs 600g unpacked. It measures 5.5"14cm diameter across the top and stands just under 4.5"11cm tall. It can either be free standing or sit in a 5.25"13.3cm drop in ring. Condition is excellent. It appears not to have been used much if at all. The foot shows very light signs of wear(see pic) and there are no chips or cracks. I have pictured two marks in the glass from when the font was originally blown. These are not chips or cracks. SALE! Vintage/ Antique Art Deco Heavy Glass Ceiling Light Fixture Cover
This ceiling lamp shade came from an estate sale at an old country farm house. I do not know the age as I researched this item and could not find one exactly like it. It is quite heavy. Weighing a few ounces under 4 lbs. It measures 12" across and approx. 3.5" high. The design is beautiful with large clear bubbles around the outside center and clear bubbles along the edge. The main part is frosted with clear raised design of bubbles and raindrops. The inside frosted area is small raised dots which gives the outside appearance a unique look. Please note that there are some rough edges along the scalloped edges as well as rough edges along the hole where the hardware fits. There are also some minor chips along the scalloped edges but they do not show up unless looking very close. See all pics for a better description. The hardware ... moreis old and I am guessing the original ones that came with the shade. It is tarnished and can be left to look old or polished for brightness. I bought this for my house but gave up on getting the proper electrical ceiling fixture to accommodate it. This would be great for an old farmhouse or old home where these shades were used. Up for auction is this Antique Lamp with Heavy Bubble Glass Bell Shape Shade and Wood Base. I am not sure of it's age but it is pretty old. I just had the lamp rewired so everything works just find. I had them put the Cord long so it can be put any where.at least 8 feet) The lamp stands 14 in tall. The wood base stands 9 1/2 in tall and the base is 5 1/2 in wide. The Glass Shade is 6 in Tall and the base is 6 in wide and the Shade is heavy. The wood base has some wear due to its age but I'm sure you can touch up with stain if you don't like the antique look. Antique B H Bradley Hubbard Leaded Glass Lamp iron heavy base mkd 22.5 X 19"
Up for consideration old leaded glass lamp. It measures 22.5 inches tall by about 19 inches in diameter. The lamp has the triangular mark cast in the upper portion of the lamp. The shade is unmarked and may or may not be original to the lamp. There is a collar or inner ring at the top of the lamp that matches the lamp exactly. The base is ultra heavy and is probably made of iron with an additional iron grill or lattice work weight. The base has nice form with vertical lines running top to bottom. The sockets and chains and wiring look all old and original. There may be a few small cracks to to 2 or 3 smaller pieces however they may be just lines of dirt.
