The covers are“held” in place by aluminum. Um, arms. There are also aluminum flourishes at the top and bottom of the chandeliers. There are six arms. Nice, and each holds six amethyst glass drops. These appear to be original. There is an additional drop in the center(these seem to be replacements) The pipe stems are covered in cloth cord. I also love how the arms sweep down and up. The chandeliers are an impressive 21-inches wide. They are 33-1/2-inches long(to the bottom of the cloth tassel) And 26-3/4-inches minus the tassel. If you need the fixtures shorter, I can reduce the length of the pipe stem a few inches. If you need them longer please contact me. I lusted after this exquisite pair for a long time. I’m certain it’s not earlier or later. I’m certain. Too, as to its beauty. And rarity. I’ve never offered a chandelier like it. All the metal components appear to have a pewter finish. Nice. Each arm has distinctive crystals. The hurricane shades are particularly lovely; that they remain in situ is frankly amazing. I also like the expressive glass stem. The chandelier is clearly modeled after an Argand lamp. From Wikipedia: The Argand lamp was new to Thomas Jefferson in Paris in 1784. Which according to him gave off"a light equal to six or eight candles. These new lamps. While more complex and costly than the previous primitive oil lamps, were first adopted by the well-to-do but soon spread to the middle classes and eventually the less well-off as well. It looks like the person before me was trying to clean them up, one is in its totally original state, the other has been lightly cleaned, the most obvious evidence of this is in the fourth photo, they really shined up that part, then got some white paint on it, this is the only area of any sort of issue, I think the paint can be removed easily enough- The metal is a silver pewter sort of color. With lightly painted details- The light bulbs would hand on the underside. This needs to be re-wired, I have photographed the original cloth covered wires- The part where you screw in the light bulbs looks really good. Here we have a fantastic and very hard to find and fresh to the market mission oak slag light fixture. The fixture is huge at 25"square and hangs down 32" The finish is a excellent dark original color. The fixture is in very good original condition. There is a small and tight repair in the glass in the corner of one slag panel which I have a photo of. All the sockets look to be original but the insides look to have been replaced. The fixture works great. It has the original oak link chain with original ceiling cap. The ceiling cap was in two pieces when I found it so I reglued it and it is solid as a rock. The Hall Lamp would have originally had a glass Oil Lamp font inside. That is missing but the Estate had it wired for electricity many years ago. I was told they had it hanging and working in a past home but it is has been stored away for many years. The Lamp is very much more beautiful than my photos show, the Glass Shade goes from a deep Pink color at the top to a light blush Pink color at the bottom and features a unique Polk a dot pattern that I have not seen before. The Lamp is overall in very good condition, there is some minor rim chips that are covered by the fixture but no large chips, cracks or repairs of any kind. The bottom cap also shows a loss as seen in the photo but overall it displays beautifully. I have not tried it to see if it works but I am sure you would want to rewire it when you hang it in your home anyway. MASSIVE Vintage MURANO Cased Glass Hanging Lamp/Light Fixture, Billiard. Prisms
Amazing vintage Murano glass hanging light/lamp. I believe the frame is wrought iron. 3 cased glass Murano shades. 3 glass chimneys. The larger middle chimney has a Murano label on it. The frame measures 26 1/4" high and 38" wide and is quite heavy. The smaller shades measure 6 1/4" high and the bottom opening is almost 7 3/4" across. The larger middle shade is 8 1/2" high and the bottom opening is 12 1/2" across. The shades have only minor nicks along the top and bottom rims. There are also many. Many prisms that appear to be glass. Not all of them are shown hanging on the lamp. From moving the lamp around a lot of them have come off and I have them separate. If I had to guess I would say there are probably over 100 of them. With ring with urns and drape on it also, 18" x 1 3/4" deep ceiling fixture is 8 1/2” x 5 1/2" ceiling cap. It hangs down approx 40” to the bottom of the shade. I have not cleaned. The shade has no chips, the ring is in great shape, there are 4 pieces that attach the chain that hooks on the ceiling fixture, one is broken, needs a screw end welded on or replaced.

Vintage 8 arm hanging lamp. Measures approx. 14" from top finial to bottom finial. Approx. 23 1/2" wide from arm to arm Amazing patina! Sadly some has been rubbed off in some areas(see pictures) but not too noticeable. I am not sure if the patina was originally the look of the chandelier or if it was shinny brass to begin with. This Chandelier has vintage written all over and due to its rich patina I would call it"one of a kind" It has 8 arms a couple of them are loose but not noticeable unless physically tilting them. When hanging down, measures 25” The ceiling cap measures 6 1/2 inches in diameter. Short wires remain. The hurricane lamp is frosted glass at the bottom and clear glass at the top. It measures 8 ½” tall. There are a few scratches on the frosted part of the glass. And also some discoloration from the base that held it although these marks do not show when it is inside the base. The switch inside the ring on the ... morebottom of the lamp works. As does the cord to pull it down lower from the ceiling. Although there are a few worn cloth fibers on the exterior of the wire casing. The metal has discoloration from age in several places. There are also some small paint spatters here and there on it. This is a stunning hanging light the base is a wonderful metal P&S allowing 250 volts. The chain is a gold colored heavy duty 10 inches. The socket has a Hubbel dated June 13 1899 the base Hubbel is dated July 23 1903 and feb 23 1904. The on and off is a Perkins Bakelite. The shade is very beautiful in wonderful condition Holophane USA dated 10-29- 1912. This is a amazing dated set. The shade reflects light very well as you can see by all 12 photos. All are original parts right down to the screws. The shade measures 7 inch diameter.
