It has been converted to electricity but as may been seen in the photos it could be easily returned to its original state. This lamp is complete including kerosene lamp and chimney the brass has lost very little of its original luster the lamp itself measures i8 inches in height the three chains are approximately 37 inches long each and. Allowing the lamp to be raised and lowered, on wooden wheels making for a noiseless raising and lowering operation. This was a kerosene lamp which has been converted to electric and it is in working condition. Size: 24 inches long and 12 inches wide. There is some staining on the one side which may have been from kerosene and has not been cleaned. There is a fine crack in the globe on the one side. This may be two lamps made into one. Unusual Antique Brass & Opalescent Slag Glass Hanging Hall Fixture Lamp
This is an interesting antique electric hanging hall fixture. It is made of hand worked brass and rippled opalescent slag glass. The brass frame is 6 sided.The brass frame is 11 1/4" across at the corners. Each brass side measures 6" wide x 4 3/4" high and each side has one panel of rippled opalescent slag glass.Underneath there is a dramatic 10 1/4" high inverted cone with 4 beaded brass vertical supports.There is a opening at the bottom of the cone measuring approx. 7/8" in diameter. From the bottom edge of the brass frame hang approx. 48- 2 piece glass prisms. The frame is suspended by 4 chains from a vertical shaft with 4 hooks for fastening. At the bottom of the shaft is the light bulb and at the top the shaft is connected by a length of brass chain to the ceiling canopy.The 4 hook assembly from which the 4 small ... morechains attach is adjustable up and down to accommodate various bulb sizes. As the lamp is hung now it measures approx. 40 1/2" from the ceiling. I do not know the maker of this lamp but I believe it dates to the 1890's- 1900. It is in very good condition. working condition. Actually a hall fixture but was being used as corner pendant in small room. It is about 28 inch long top to bottom and the light is about 7 inch across. the part that is up on the ceiling is actually about 7 inch deep and the chain and pendant make up the difference to 28. the glass is like a chipped ice and is curved as you can see in photos and it is individual panels not just one piece. from an estate we are currently working with. It is not as new condition as it is 100 years old but it is in very respectable shape the glass is all good as well. The Hall Lamp would have originally had a glass Oil Lamp font inside. That is missing but the Estate had it wired for electricity many years ago. I was told they had it hanging and working in a past home but it is has been stored away for many years. The Lamp is very much more beautiful than my photos show, the Glass Shade goes from a deep Pink color at the top to a light blush Pink color at the bottom and features a unique Polk a dot pattern that I have not seen before. The Lamp is overall in very good condition, there is some minor rim chips that are covered by the fixture but no large chips, cracks or repairs of any kind. The bottom cap also shows a loss as seen in the photo but overall it displays beautifully. I have not tried it to see if it works but I am sure you would want to rewire it when you hang it in your home anyway. The Lamp displays beautifully measuring 21" long overall or the Shade alone is 9" tall by 6-3/4" wide. This really is a beautiful lamp for any home. PLEASE REVIEW PAYMENT AND RETURN

The Lamp consists of 4 beautiful Lithopane Porcelain panels which feature the sweetest little Boys and Girls playing in landscape scenes. The Lamps also features lovely Ruby Red Glass panels with Etched Flower designs cut to clear and Brass mounts or frames. The Lamp is much more beautiful than my photos show. I always have trouble photoing hanging lamps. The Lamp is in good all original condition with one section of fancy Brass work missing from the top and one Porcelain panel is cracked. The Lamp displays beautifully, the actual shade portion measures 13-1/4" tall by 7" wide, the Chains are very long and tangled, the new owner can trim them to their desired length. Cranberry opalescent shade. original fixture(not married nor made from parts) I purchased this from an estate 10 years ago with the intention of using it. times have changes and now I am selling it. It has never been polished or altered(only original once. hope it stays that way) I have bought and sold for many years. started selling on eBay 15 years ago then quit about 8 years ago(my old site I allowed my ex to have. if you desire to read the 500 plus positive feedbacks I will gladly forward you the site) This piece was acquired from a family where the lamp came from the same house that it was in. was used little then boxed away for 100 yrs(I acquired it in the same box it was stored in with straw as the packing material. now gone of course) Still some dirt on the shade from storage. globe is beautiful ... moreand perfect. look around. wont find one better. Antique Cranberry Ruffled Hanging Hall Lamp Shade
This is a beautiful Cranberry Glass Ruffled lamp Shade or Chimney. It would look gorgeous ona converted gas brass hall light. I don't believe it to be as old as the cranberry smoke bell that I have listed. But I am a lamp admirer, not an expert. I did purchase this some time ago from an antique lamp shade dealer. It is in perfect condition with no cracks, chips, or flakes. There is the usual roughness to the glass at the fitter edge. The diameter of the fitter is 4" I think it was pressed into a two-part mold as it has two seams and the outside of the shade is smooth, while the inside is concave in the places where you see the light reflected in circles. If you look closely, there are a few very tiny glass bubbles. This item will be carefully wrapped and double boxed and should be insured. Powered by The free listing tool.
