Set of 2 Vintage Frosted Satin Glass Light Shades Globes w/Hand Painted Roses
A beautiful pair of lamp globes/shades. They stand 4" tall and measure 3" across the bottom from side to side. They have roses in three locations around each glass shade which is a frosted/satin style. I believe these are old as the glass has bubbles in it and there are even minute differences in the glass shade design so don't know if they were individually made. The one with bubbles has a little larger flare at bottom and the rose painting seems a tad smaller than the other one; the design at bottom edge is also a little different with deeper ridges on one than the other. In nice shape with no cracks. Did feel a flea bite and rough edge around the raised rim above the scalloped edge, but no one will know but you. Also there is some paint wear on the roses, but minor. They have yellow brown eyed Susans painted on them on the embossed glass some slight paint missing and a small chip on the rim.
