Hi. You are bidding on a very unusual Florentine Italian metal tole table lamp. It is huge. Measuring 42 inches from base to tip of finial. This lamp will not disappoint those looking for something Hollywood Regency and unusual. It is filled with metal gold gilt tole leaves climbing on the metal frame. On the inside there is a small mini chandelier that swings and has a light filament so that you can light that part up as well. I will auction that the lamp needs to have a professional look at the wiring. There is a small bulb inside of that mini chandelier, and there is a cord that dips down into that area. Antique style Colonial 5 Lamp Chandelier Ebony Glass Ball Gold Stars Metal Eagle
Estate sale find of a 5 lamp chandelier. I found it in a Sears Antique Lighting Catalog from 1937 on page 12. It said the model of this 5-light drop fixture is called"Stuyvesant" and that it was in the style of old Colonial Lamps before electricity. The color scheme is ebony black and brassy/gold. The center is a large ebony glass black ball with gold stars painted on it and a gold eagle sitting on top. The ad said it could go with any decor not just colonial. 20-1/2 in. to the round circle on top of the eagle and 19-1/12 in. in diameter at the bottom. The ball is 19 in. in circumference and is thick black glass through. The glass ball has at the bottom a 1 in. surface flake type chip that is 1 in. long and 1/4 in. at the middle(see photo) This flake is not obvious unless you are looking for it and would not really be seen when ... morehanging. Selling this chandelier"AS IS" for parts or repair. It does need to be rewired and the paint on the metal parts is chippy. The gold stars on the glass ball are in great condition. The ball is so shiney that it is picking up all kinds of reflections of light that show up on the photos but are not on the ball. This lamp is 77 years old. These lamps are high quality with all original hardware. They are adjustable with an original screw that adjusts the heighth for different shades you might want to use.
