These lamps features ... more2 Cherubs standing in a field of grass and flowers. One of them is carrying a huge bowl of fruit. And apparently he has bumped his little friend in the head with it. The second Cherub is squatting down in the fine porcelain grass rubbing his head. Must have been a pretty good hit. These are pretty large pieces measuring approx. 7 1/2" wide, and 26" to the top of the socket. The bases are metal which provide a more chip-resistant surface for the lamps to sit on. The very bottoms of the bases were gilded by hand. The rest is porcelain until you reach the very top. The 3" or so under the socket is metal as well. Overall a great pair with a ton of character. They just don't seem to make them like this anymore. These will be shipped without bulbs(for safety) Missing the harps, if we find a pair we will send them along. Good Luck!
