Up for auction is an art deco style vintage bent tulip pendant lamp. The lamp measures about 9" tall and 7" wide. It has 5 panels and each is a different color" White. Pink, carmel, green and blue. The metal is brass and has tarnished to a dark brown. The cord to the pendant has been cut and to use it, the lamp would need to be re-wired. The socket appears to be intact. Matching pair of Holophane glass diffuser shades No. 2070. Pat. 2068246 in the 1930's. As can be seen in the second photo. These shades were meant to be used as diffuser shades, underneath an outer fabric or metal shade. However, they may also be used upside down with a hanging pendant light. These shades are hard to find. Especially in such good condition. They are near perfect. The only defects I can find are flea bites on the inside bottom rim of one shade. Each shade weighs 2 lbs 5 oz. Each measures 7" tall and 6-3/8" in diameter at the widest point. The fitter end measures 1-3/16" in diameter outer rim to outer rim. And 1-9/16" in diameter inner rim to inner rim. The maker name and numbers are embossed on the inside of each shade. Only the shades themselves are made of thick, white frosted glass. Lit up, they will be striking. Although I have no info on these shades in particular. I did find the identical design attributed to L&L(Loevsky& Loevsky) a manufacturer of many kinds of decorative glass items. I would guess them to be from the 1950s or early1960s.
