You are looking at a set of 2 antique leaded glass windows/cabinet side panels. These were originally side panels for old cabinets that came out of an old Victorian home. You can cut them down to windows. Side lights, transoms, or keep them as side panels. Each window has 3 clear jewels. They are in good condition. The glass is sturdy and there are no breaks. ~ GREAT ANTIQUE AMERICAN STAINED GLASS WINDOWS JEWELS~
This are a double hung(top and bottom) set of stained glass window that were salvaged from a demolished PA home. The upper piece has a slag medallion with 4 fasceted green jewels and 2 creamy white circles in the corners. The rest of the window is set in a variety clear and distorted glass. The lower piece has a couple of creamy white half circles and the variation in clear and distorted glass continues from the upper to the lower piece. There are 2 pieces of border glass with cracks. Each is only 3/4 inch long and they are stable with no loss. The upper frame has a lower stile that has some seperation. Glue, screw and clamp to fix. It has no reinforcing bar on the back and if you shake the window(should'nt do that! it does have some movement. If hung and displayed, there will be no problems. The lower window does have reinforcing bars ... morebut the ties seperated and it does have a bow. If you wish, you can resolder the ties and it should be fine. The frames are painted white on one side, brown on the other. The set may need some attention but overall is in good condition for 120 year old windows. There are 5 big roundel jewels and 3 smaller facet cut blue jewels. We have installed a brand new oak frame. The window measures 34-1/8" long. 32-1/8" high and is 1-1/2" deep. The glass itself measures 30" x 28" Overall. It is in very good condition. There are some hairlines. Scratches and dings contribute to the charm of the piece. Please review the photographs carefully. Victorian Antique "Superior" Cast Iron Stove/Heater W/12 Colored Glass Jewels
Here is a beautiful"SUPERIOR" victorian antique 12 jewel gas heater/stove it looks to be c.1900 vintage or thereabouts not sure? It features 12 total jewels 6 blue and 6 orange faceted glass jewels. It measures 20-1/4" high base is approx 27" wide(including the brass nozzles on sides) and around 10" deep. Old patina to the cast iron top and bottom. I'm sure the colored jewels look pretty when lighted by the interior flames. There is some corrosion on the chimney tubes etc shown in pics. A few small dents on the side and bottom of tube"shown in pics" The gas nozzle seems to function and turn fine. I have no idea of the actual functionality of the piece but very nice antique victorian era heater freshly picked from an old Victorian farm house and barn. I have never seen one quite like it! Late 1800's to early1900's Leaded Stained Glass Transom. Approx. 40 1/2" x 22" over all. Glass measures approx. 38 1/4" x 17" Very. Very nice and colorful. I purchase this piece about 20 yrs. ago from an antique store in Virginia. The owner said it came out of an old Victoria house in Philidelphia, Pa. Colors are magnificent with a lot of red. And 12 jewels. Very ornate. Frame is original, old white oil based paint on the inside and recent-latex paint on the outside. One flower pedal has a couple slight cracks- see photo. This does not take away from the over all beauty of the glass so I never bothered to have it repaired. However. It wouldn't cost much at all to have it fixed. circa 1900-1940's Fancy Wrought Iron and metal with Colored Cut Glass Jewels Hanging electric Hall Lamp Wonderful fixture was removed from the Old Biltmore Hotel in Dayton and purchased at local estate sale. This Hotel was considered on of Ohio's grandest with many famous guest including John F. Kennedy and Elvis Presley. There are two older photos that will be included in the auction that show this hanging in one of the many hallways in the old Hotel. I do not know the exact age of the photos but they are older. Fixture is in good useable condition with no splits or major damages. I did note 1 old repair to the inside that was done to replace two of the small outside tabs holding the jewel that where right next to each other. Very hard to see unless you are looking hard. I also noted there a 1 or 2 small outside tabs that are missing ... morethat hold the jewels. This is no real harm as the jewels are secure. One bottom tip has been bent just a lttle and is shown in the photos. This is also only noted upon very close inspection. There some lite dings from age. This is a wonderful Jeweled hanging Ormolu candle holder miniature lamp. It has rich patina. Beautiful scrolling and floral embossing with multi-color glass Jewels. These lamps were made around the 1900's. The extension has a top cup with three pulley chains and a pull down bottom and ceiling hook. It is overall in good condition. The filigree and the jewels really make this a wonderful piece. Just stunning to look at. It has a total of 15 jewels. 10 large ones and 5 smaller ones. The original frame has been stripped on both sides but needs a light sanding. It measures 26.5 inches wide. 24.25 tall and is just under 1.5 inches thick. The glass only measures approx. 22 by 20. The center has 2 yellow hand blown roundel jewels and mottled caramel stained glass. To either side are green. Pink, and caramel vines. There are 4 yellow fascet cut jewels. The frame and glass have a semi arched top. The frame is painted on both sides and is in good shape. It measures 42 inches wide by 18 inches tall in the center. 12 at the ends, and is 1.75 inches thick. The glass only is approx. 38.5 by 14.5 and 9.5. Overall it is in good condition. This auction is for a vintage blue carnival glass top hat toothpick with original foil sticker that was made by Imperial in their'Aurora Jewels' line circa 1970. This stands 2 1/4 inches high and is 3 1/8 inches across the wide brim. The original Imperial sticker is still present. With the remains of another sticker near it, which can be removed. Stunning Stained Glass Window Panels Set of 4 Large Slag Leaded Jewels Rondels
This large set of 4 panels of stained glass was salvaged from an old building in San Francisco. CA. I am not sure of the exact age. The glass is in great shape. I have not found any breaks or cracks. It's possible that there could be some tiny cracks in the glass but I haven't found any. Each panel measures 44" x 22" I have displayed it horizontally but it could be used vertically as well. I have also included a photo of just the two outer panels together without the center to show how they could be used in a smaller setting. The original frame that these windows were in had about three inches of wood around each panel but I would imagine they could be arranged closer together. They could also used as a large interior or exterior wall decoration with a light mounted behind them. The possibilities are endless. I am not an ... moreexpert in stained glass or windows by any means so if I have left out any important details please let me know and I will answer any questions as thoroughly as possible. I am not comfortable packing and shipping these panels so I have listed them as pick up only. What a fine window with many large jewels as shown. The two part window is in need of some restoration. One section shows a repaired cracked frame with loose glass along that edge as seen. Oval Victorian With Jewels and Iridescent Glass
Simple but elegant is the best way to describe this oval Victorian piece of art. After seeing this pattern. I changed the design, then added jewels and art glass to improve the overall look and design. It measures 21X15(+- and I have used a background of iridescent glass to complement the jewel tones of the central design. I have taken many pictures to capture the true beauty of this piece. But pictures do not do it justice. It has been tastefully done using the Tiffany method with each piece of glass being cut by hand then soldered together before being bathed with a black patina to give it a truly distinctive and professional look. It is then waxed and polished before being framed with zinc edging to give it added strength for years of secure hanging. LEADED STAINED GLASS WINDOW #1, JEWELS, ARTS & CRAFTS DECORATED MULTI-PANES
Antique Window Hand Made Quality Craftsmanship All Early Construction Impressive 48 inch Tall 33 inches Wide Condition Notes: This beautiful window is from the 1800's and in remarkable good condition. It is not a reproduction& not made with thick opaque glass that just looks okay. This is transparent/translucent stained glass in assorted colors with antique decorations on each. They used wavy glass. There are several cracks and we tried to show them in the pictures. Some people glue down strips of lead over the cracks for better appearances. Picture 1- center sphere. Notice some decoration has worn away from the lower part of the star, there are blue'bull's eyes' in the margin, there is a crack visible lower right pane; Picture 2- this photo was taken with the window standing in our door way to take advantage of the day ... morelight. No sun light today but the colors are dramatic; Picture 3- photo of the upper left side, notice the texture of the glass, colors in the art work. Also, the panes need a good cleaning as is visible in the border glass which is a bit dirty; Picture 4- upper right corner and again is very nice; Picture 5- left center- there is a hair line crack in the star- we held the camera at an angle to capture the reflection; Picture 6- Right center with previously mentioned crack; Picture 7- Lower left in nice condition; Picture 8- Lower right in good condition. Note one pane does not have any decoration- it may have been replaced; Picture 9- The window photographed indoors with a flash. The look is very different, the frame needs to be sanded& repainted or varnished, the lead work needs to be cleaned too. Notwithstanding some'as is' conditions this is a wonderful antique and will be a focal point of interest when properly displayed. Very Rare stained glass with jewels/shells
I have a pair of stained glass windows circa 1880 and quite a rare find. I've been dealing in stained glass windows for over 20 years and have never seen anything like these. They mes. 14" X 25" and the"bubble" area projects 5" There are 16 shells beyween the 2 windows and 5 of the shells with damage/holes. There are 20 jewels in each window. Up for auction! This is a beautiful Imperial Canival Glass bowl. The color is blue Hattie. The pattern is Aurora Jewels. This bowl is approx 7 1/2 inches across the top and approx 3 1/2 inches in height. The bowl has the original Imperial sticker. The bottom of the bowl has the Imperial mark.
