This is an Antique Art Nouvea Metal Table Lamp. The Nude Cherub is almost 14 inches tall. Gold painted. The Lamp weighs about 5 lbs and was made in Paris France. Circa 1900-10 Signed L'Amour Vagabond Par Brocbon. Which translated to english means"The Love Vagabond By Brocbon" It stands almost 30 inches tall. With the glass shades in place. There are two Markings by the maker. See photos below.The hand blown Art Glass Shades, with snake effect overlay, are a yellow gold, they are very old. We are pleased to offer this very beautiful. Antique(c1940s) lamp. This French or Italian lamp features a large. figural, brass cherub/putti as the lamp column. The putti is carrying a large, bulbous, glass urn/vessel. The glass is exceptional. It features a swirled design with interior white painted finish. The paint technique is somewhat splattered and is quite striking. The lamp base features a brass bottom with an upper marble section which is white with gray veining. Antique Vintage Cast Iron Green Stained Slag Glass Angel Cherub Table Lamp
You are bidding on a Vintage Table Lamp. I can find no maker's mark on the lamp itself. There was some information on the old socket. But I think it was just the socket maker, and it has since been replaced with a new one. This lamp is about 22 inches tall with the shade on it. The base of lamp has a square that is about 7.5 x 7.5 inches. The shade is very heavy. It is made of a green stained/slag glass that is very heavy, but light still passes through it very nicely. It measures about 12 inches in diameter and it is about 7.5 inches tall. This lamp weighs a total of just under 12 pounds. When I found this lamp, the socket did not work so I took it to a lamp shop and had the socket replaced, the cord is still the same. The lamp works now just as it should. It has slide mechanism to turn it on or off. There is a finial on the top that ... moreyou remove by screwing it off and then you have access to remove the shade. The shade support is also removeable by pinching the two sides and it comes out of the groove by design. Condition- It is pre-owned and well used. The metal parts of the base and shade have oxidation and discoloration but that definitely adds a nice patina to the piece. The inner glass is intact. There could be a few small flea bites where the glass jostles around because it is just held in place by metal prongs. The lamp works, as stated the socket is new, but the cord was left because I wanted to leave the lamp as original as possible. As far as the age of the piece, I really have no idea, my research has come up empty. It really is a beautiful lamp, and if nothing else, its definitely aesthetically pleasing to look at. This is a beautiful stained glass lamp with 6 panels of blue slag glass in an ornate shade. The base is a cherub holding an urn on his shoulder. This lamp is made of a soft metal with the color of copper showing throughout. The shade is heavy and the base is lighter. The shade is fragile because of the soft metal and sometimes needs to be reshaped. There is a 1/4" fine slit in the metal on one of cherub's legs. This lamp measures about 23" high to the top of the finial. The shade is 12" across from its widest point and is 10" high to its finial. Breathtaking pair of table lamps! Made of brass with a winged cherub as a handle with a pouring spout. Very ornate design as you go down to the glass. The glass is white but not a white white but more of a cloudy white with metal on metal to build 3D roses with a eray of gold guilding of vines. Continueing down to the brass base which does have tarnishing that I am letting the new owners to buff out. A magnet does not stick on any of the metal work.They are both in working condition. The design on these are just gorgeous! I know they are very old but not sure how old. They are being sold as a set but will be shipped in seperate boxes and will have insurance on each box.

Vintage Hollywood Regency Cherub Metal & Glass Lamp Base?
This is an interesting and lovely cherub lamp base? It looks like it possibly use to be a lamp. Yet the portion that holds the lamp shade is missing as well as a cord to define it as a lamp. I think that someone that knows more about this item could create a lovely lamp out of it or a candle holder. It has 5 hanging crystals/prisms or glass crystals; I'm not for sure about the exact type of material they are made out of. The little metal cherubs holding their arms around the bottom base are very charming. There is glass on top and a thick glass bottom on this vintage piece. I am selling this item as is since I do not know what the previous condition was or what may actually be missing. Very unique CHERUB WHITE MILK GLASS OIL LAMP unscaled to now be wired
Hopefully a picture is worth a thousand words. This is an awesome lamp. The two perfect glass globes have the most beautiful design and very ornate details. It is 42" high and around the top globe it measures 20" It was once an oil lamp if that helps you date it. Now it is wired and ready for use. It works. The structure of the lamp seems to be made of brass and is ornate; somewhat aged. The top of the glass globe on top is open. I have never seen another one like it. Looks very romantic and Victorian when lit. I wish someone would take responsibility to have this professionally shipped or just come pick it up. It is too precious to take a chance on it breaking.
