The sterling candle holders are weighted and feature a simple but elegant rope edge design. When in use as a compote/ candy dish be sure to support from the base as the glass bowls have a very loose fit. Laben had produced a line of different serving pieces featuring a sterling base and the same pattern cut glass. But the pattern was discontinued in the 1960's. The sterling candle holder do show some age appropriate surface scratches along with tarnish and several nicks along the bottom edge(see picture 4. 5, 6& 7) Also note; the top part of the candle holder sits loosely on the base. Measurements are approx. 2 5/8" in diameter at the base. 2 1/4" in height not including the glass bowl. The glass bowls measure approx. 6" in diameter and when sitting on top the candle holder measure approx. 4" in height. Be sure to look closely at all the pictures since they are a very important part of the overall description and allow you to evaluate the condition of the item. VINTAGE BRASS& DARK CRANBERRY GLASS HANGING LAMPS This is a beautiful pair of hanging lamps in perfect condition. The lamps measure 10" from the opening at the top to the point at the bottom; the diameter is 6" at the widest part of the globes. M ade in India using their unique intricate detailing. Are bands of brass wrapped around dark cranberry glass globes. They are an elegant way to create soft lighting using candles, floating candles or oils. I wanted to put these lovely globes up for auction but the bracket on one of the hanging wall hooks had broken off so I took it to be welded. Please see pictures of the welding repair. I've also showed a picture of the bracket that is alright. The bracket is now firmly in place however there is a very small area on the front of the wall hook that has a little discoloration; I was ... moretold that it was cause from the heating temperature needed to do the repair. Pair of bronze and porcelain figural and floral boudoir lamps. Figures of boy and girl with marks on back of base as shown in photos. The lamp bases are marked"FRANCE" beneath the wiring ferrule at the back of the base. The candle sleeves are white opaline glass and one has hairline crack but otherwise sound. There is no damage to the porcelain figures. The lamps are 10 inches wide and 9 inches in height.

ONE OF THEM HAS 250w BRYANT PAT'D NOV. 20, 1907 and the other switch has- BRYANT 250w PATEND JUNE 13, 99. THEY BOTH WORK PROPERLY STILL. THEY ARE NOT BROKEN OR CHIPPED UP. ONE OF THE CANDLE HOLDERS HAS WHAT APPEARS TO BE A AIR POCKET THAT HAS A SMALL CHIP ON IT DUE TO THE AIR BUBLE. THIS IS THE ONLY BAD SPOT ON THIS SET. AS SEEN IN ONE OF THE PICTURE'S. Antique Hanging Candle Lamp, Original Depression Glass in Excell Cond!
This hanging candle lamp was part of my decease mothers collection and was recently found in her atic. I really don't know much about it. But do remember her having it hanging in the guest bathroom with a candle always burning in it and working as should. The years of neglect, and storage, took its toll on it, but I believe it has value and can be restored to working condition with just some new hanging chians. The chains that pull the candle up out of the lamp are in good working order and have all the original hooks, as does the lamp top, Glass lamp, with metal bordering on top and bottom stands about 9.5" in height and top of lamp is about 5" wide. Victorian period Carriage Candle Lamp with clear and red glass. Antique carriage lamp- in original rusted as found condition. It would appear to have only been illuminated by a candle as there is still the remains of a very greasy candle within the body. There are two bevelled oblong clear glass pieces. The front one has cracked. The silvered reflecter on the back piece has a central hole fitted with a red circular glass piece. The body from the domed top to the candle holder base is approximately 32cm tall x 11cm on each side with the glass standing out a further 7mm. I have no idea as to the maker I'm afraid but there is a stamped legend that possibly states'Under Patent' It is difficult to make it out clearly. Condition is poor. Antique Pair of Nickle Plated Candle Holders with Blue Opaline Glass Globes. The pair is marked on the base with an anchor and compass mark. I have not been able to find anything on this wonderful old pair. It looks as if they were originally spring loaded candle sticks but the columns have filled with wax and I have not taken them apart to inspect. The fabulous element if this pair is the blue opaline globes. Not sure if the are French or not but the look to have been hand blown. A little roughness on the bottom edges from where they were cut but no breaks, cracks, chips or nicks in the glass. The two bases have a few dings as you might expect from age but otherwise no breaks. Bends or repairs. The pair stands 14" high to the top of the globes with the bases measuring 4-1/4" in diameter. CLARKES FAIRY CRICKLITE LAMP OIL CANDLE BASE CUP & GLASS DOME CUT PRESSED GLASS
Here we have a stamped original Victorian Clarke's Cricklite/Fairy Lamp type night-light holding base cup with its original matching glass dome(peg version for candlesticks etc. The lamps were used with night-light candles(similar to tea-lights of today but usually deeper) and sometimes a very small oil lamp in the place of a candle. The cup is made of clear pressed-glass imitating brilliant-cut crystal. The peg at the base has its often missing wooden'stump-like' mount around it to fit into a candle socket. The base measures 10cm diameter and is in excellent condition. The glass dome measures 8cm diameter at the bottom and 12 cm high approx. and is in very nice condition with a couple of nibbles from the top glass rim and some verdigree under the metal rim but I am sure this could be clean ed off- but does not detract in any ... moreway. There are a couple of bubbles in the glass from the original manufacture- a sign of its age. The gold band running around the bottom circumference is impressed with the Cricklite name. A super original set- great for the collector. Please see my other items, I am happy to combine postage where possible.

For auction is an art glass and metal table lamp made by Tiffany Studios. New York. This lamp is known as a"Candle Lamp" in the Tiffany Catalog line. When assembled this art glass lamp stands 12 1/2" tall and the shade has a diameter of 7 1/4" at its widest point. The bottom of the base has a diameter of 3 7/8" This base consist of gold Favrile. Aurene style of art glass in a twisted candlestick form. The stem that holds the shade is also made of Favrile art glass. It has a pulled feather design on calcite white background. There is a metal flange at the bottom of the insert that has finger tabs. These tabs are used to adjust the fit into the candlestick bottom as to hold the shade level on the lamp. The top of this insert has it original shade carriage fitted to the glass insert and it still retains its original ... moremini key-less candelabra socket to accommodate electricity. Then there is the beautiful ruffled Favrile art glass lighting shade that fits on this. The color of the shade is outstanding. The shades displays a Gold Favrile glass that bleeds from the top to the mid section. Then there is a beautiful fuchsia ring that separates the color of the lower half. The lower half has a green hue to bronze color that has a wonderful onion skin texture throughout. The entire shade has iridescence and when viewing at an angle the fuchsia highlights are simply gorgeous. When looking inside the shade it looks metallic green in color and is similar to Loetz's Metalin style of glass. The entire lamps is considered to be in excellent condition as the only issue is a small flea nick along the inside edge of the shade. This cannot be seen when display and the only reason I know it was there was from running my finger along the inside edge. This is considered insignificant. The underside bottom has scratches and is typical of normal age wear. The shade is signed on the inside top lip in a counter clockwise fashion"L.C.T.
