For your consideration. We offer an ornate antique German porcelain oil lamp wired for electricity. The base features a boy and girl in pink floral drapery. There are pink painted and applied flowers and leaves. There is a key marked Germany that lifts what was the burner. Which is marked Kronos M-1911. It measures 17 ¼ inches high and the base is 5 ¼ inches across. The shade fitter is for a 10 inch shade. But looks as if a ring should be added for stability. Obviously. I never found the time to complete the lamp, but the electric and the switch work fine. Several of the applied flowers are chipped. There is a small chip on the girl’s foot. Other- wise. SITZENDORF GERMAN PORCELAIN MINIATURE OIL LAMP, THREE GNOMES, DWARFS, PIXIES,ELF
Up for auction is this attractive Sitzendorf porcelain miniature oil lamp in the shape of an egg shaped fount supported by three German Pixies. Elves, dwarves or Gnomes. To the underside is the blue mark of a dash across 2 parallel lines. Which I'm told is Sitzendorf. The lamp stands 158mm to the top of the brass burner collar, and the base is 110mm, the collar has the thread for a 10 line size Kosmos oil lamp burner, and it is just under 32mm diameter inside. The body is heavy. A hard translucent porcelain. inside is clean, no stains or cracks. Between the figures are raised coloured flowers. there are some tiny chips and losses to some petals, but they are very hard to see even when looked for. I can find no broken off or glued on flowers. No chips to base. And no repairs, all the figures have their hands, complete with fingers and ... morethumbs. most of the coloured areas are pastel and fairly matte finish, but the three gnomes have brown short pants and green hoods, which are a gloss coloured glaze. These show loss of'enamel' It cannot be due to chipping as the many losses are in areas that cannot be reached( their bums which are under the middle of the pot) The lamp was dirty and i washed it in ghot soapy water, and no more flakes came off so what is there seems stable. These areas would be easy to paint in in gloss enamel as there are only 2 colours involved and the finish is glossy. nice little lamp base. The raised hand painted scene is a hunt scene of a running deer with dogs chasing it. What detail. The long wire looks like it was added and should be replaced. It's frayed. This vintage German figural lamp is in Excellent condition. Some wear to the gold trim at base of lamp. Otherwise. Mint condition. No cracks or chips. This lamp has been re-wired and has a new socket. Marked Germany on the bottom. also a mark and a number that looks to be 4178 but the number is hard to read. The shade is not in good condition and would need to be replaced or re-done. With socket, base measures approx. 10" tall, width of base is approx. 3 1/4" wide. They measure approximately 6 1/2" wide by 27 1/2" tall just the base without the shade harp and socket measures 15 3/4" tall- the two handled porcelain portion measures 13 1/4" tall- they are in very good condition with no chips. Cracks, or repairs other than they are missing there shades- they are unmarked other than being numbered on the underside of there porcelain bases- they were always lamps they aren't converted vases- the wiring is fully functional.

The vase has a French feel but the signature is if German hand. Therefore, perhaps one should say European. This item: an antique porcelain lamp made in Germany circa 1890s. What's unusual about this item is the fact it's a transitional piece going from oil lamps to electric. The figural group was made separately and the tower piece was added later. The wonderful fact about this figurine is NO chips. NO cracks and NO repairs. NO RESERVE. I don't know who the maker is. The seller swears it's Meissen but without a signature or maker's mark I cannot say one way or the other. But whoever made this did a great job with the mold and the paint. Much nicer in person. Holding a paint brush in one hand and color palette in the other. the other is a male figure wearing a crown holding a hammer. the bottom of the porcelain body tapers inward and is also very nicely painted. the base is made from very thick gold gilded bronze and footed with 3 very large ornate claw feet. it has two detailed bronze ewer style handles with stylized lion faces on each side. the obscurely shaped font is also ... moremade from extremely thick gold gilded bronze and is a very heavy piece. it's also extremely detailed with a Victorian style and done in high relief. It removes from the base and has two control knobs at the top to operate the lamp. they are spring loaded and work great. the lamp measures 20 1/4 inches tall by 7 1/2 inches wide. it is in very nice antique condition and has acquired a lovely patina from age. there is a maker mark on the inside of the porcelain body but a bit hard to read. it has a very small hairline crack on the figure but very hard to notice. Refer to last photo. it is located above the hammer of the figure. This antique porcelain lamp made circa 1890s measures 14 inches tall from base to the top of the shade. It is in perfect working order. The figur e has NO chips. NO cracks and NO repairs. It has a lovel y gold vin e and leaves and a pink ceramic rose around the figure. NO RESERVE. I don't know who the maker is. Of the M eissen style but it is not marked that I can see. But whoever made this did a great job with the mold and the paint. It's beautiful in person.

Estate Sale - Antique German Made Porcelain Decorative Table Lamp
From our family estate. A lovely porcelain and table lamp that I believe was manufactured in German. I was unable to find any markings on the piece. This lovely piece measures 21 inches tall with the base measureing 8 inches in width and the figurine itself measuring 9 inches tall. There was a shade found with the lamp that is not in good shape- so I will not include it with this sale.but photographed it so that you may see what the piece looks like with a vintage shade. Even though the lamp does work.the electrical cord should be replaced making it safe to use. 19TH CENTURY ~ CIRCA 1800's. GERMAN/ FRENCH PORCELAIN LAMP BASE. ON WOODEN ASIAN STAND. Charming Celedon blue porcelain lamp. The lamp has been permently placed onto a wooden ASIAN style base. Thus unable to find makers mark. The reason I have placed both GERMAN& FRENCH in the listing is the painting. The original painting on the front has a signature of"FRITZ" in gold letters, lower right HOWEVER the vase/lamp has a FRENCH PROVINCAL style to it. The young ladies featured in the artwork look very French as do their wooden work tools. They are taking a rest from toiling in the fields. The painting is exquiste with very fine details. Antique Vtg GERMAN Porcelain Pair Table LAMP Light Figural SWANS Cloth Cords This is a Pair of Antique German Porcelain Table Lamps that have Figural Swans on the Sides and are Perfect Accent pieces for your Retro Décor. They measure aprox 11 1/2" tall and 5" wide and are marked Germany in Blue on the bases. They are a Light Cream Color and they have Gold Gilt all around. But a lot of it has worn off. They have Cloth cords and Cast Iron parts on the inside. I think these are from the late 1800's to early 1900's. In Great Vintage Working condition with some Rusting on the Cast Iron that you can see on the bases. The cords are frayed but I see no wires showing, some small scratches here and there but no Breaks or Cracks. Please view pics as they are part of the description as well* I Love to go to Auctions.
