Fantastic estate find-antique brass hanging lamp in wonderful condition. The brass ball is heavy and makes the fixture weigh nearly 10 pounds. This auction is for a single antique art glass lamp shade. Probably dating to the late 1800's. Has a cranberry upper portion. I think this shading is referred to as Rubina/ Amberina if it had more orange. There are two minor flea bites from upper rim of shade. VINTAGE ANTIQUE SUNSHINE SAFETY LAMP LIGHT OIL GAS& ELECTRIC Hanging Lamp or Table Lamp With 11 3/4" rim Emerald Green Glass Shade Made by SUNSHINE SAFETY LAMP CO. Kansas City Mo. Very good condition. ALTHOUGH SHADE HAS A REPAIR ON THE BOTTOM SIDE. GAS AND ELECTRIC. This lamp is 24 1/4 inches tall from the top of the hook to the bottom of the tank. The shade is 11 3/4 inches in diameter at the bottom with a repair on side. The tank is 8 inches in diameter. Nickel plated. A couple of very small dings in the base. Almost un-noticeable. Some patina wear to the metal. This is really a neat lamp. I know someone knows how to operate it. Also uses 2 mantles- socks. Like a coleman. With a smaller electric night light size electric Bulb. IT GLOWS A BEAUTIFUL DEEP AMBER CARAMEL COLOR, MIXED WITH DIFFERENT HUES OF CUSTARD. FEATURES 8 GLASS PANELS, AND CURLED PETALS, ALONG WITH HAND HAMMERED METAL WORK THROUGHOUT, AND BALL BEADED TRIM.
